4 RV Parks near Red Lake Falls, Minnesota
Aug 2017 - $30.00
This place is just as great as it was when we first visited two years ago. It was quiet and peaceful even after more people came in towards the end of the week. It's in a beautiful setting and the three owners are super nice and helpful. During the week there was plenty of space so they had us pull in parallel to the river across two sites instead of our having to back in. This gave us a lot better view of the river with no one close to us. OTA-TV, Verizon hotspot and phone all worked well. We've been in all of the lower-48 states and this is definitely one of our favorite campgrounds. - all4pets
Jul 2015 - $28.00
Right on the Red Lake River, absolutely beautiful! Extremely well maintained grounds and spotless bathrooms. Numerous water/electric hook-ups and lots of area for tents. All camping areas are grass, driving is on dirt roads. Sites on non-river side are pull-through because you can drive through the grass with your rig as long as there's room. A big part of this business is tubing on the river so they rent tubes and drive tubers to a drop-off spot 4 miles up river. Owned by the nicest people we've ever met. A lot of campers are there for the tubing and can get a little noisy at night but security patrols the grounds to keep the noise down and make sure it's off at 11:00. This is our new favorite place! - all4pets
Sep 2018 - $20.00
We camped here late Sept. and the camp host was already gone. There was only a check in drop box but no one here to assist. They did send us an email a day or two before we arrived confirming our spot. Be sure you have all your information with you. Campground was not busy at all. Spaces are easy to access you park right on grass. Sites were pretty even. Our site was 117 which was facing city street. At times traffic was loud but not extreme. They do have sites facing the river which would be quieter but those sites are electric only. Our site had cable and electric. Less than a minute walk to the river which has lovely walk way. Park is near by shopping, gas and a wonderful restaurant pub just across the street. This is a great overnight stop for a great price. Lucky we ran into another camper who gave us the wifi password , Wifi wasn't great but did work ok at times. - Fun finders
Sep 2015 - $20.00
We were greeted on arrival by the host who showed us the types of available sites. The FHU sites were nearly all taken by what looked like worker housing, and were very close together with no shade. We chose an electric/cable only site with some shade, on the grass, for a two night mid-week stay. The location is right in Thief River Falls and is owned by the city. Wi-Fi worked the first day, but not the second; Verizon card worked well. Restrooms and showers were immaculate. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in NW Minnesota. - Jay Rutherford
Aug 2015 - $20.00
Very nice city park. Lots of shade trees. Good size lots (except the FHU sites are tight). We were here 2 nights. Had only planned one, but it was such a nice place we added a night. It does look like there may be some pretty permanent residents, but it is a clean park. WIFI has excellent coverage. FHU includes cable too. Since we were only here originally for a night we stayed in the electric only sites. Water was nearby and a dump station is across the street. - jacknpeg
Aug 2015 - $21.00
This is a great park for visiting this area. Sites were large and well maintained. We stayed in the older section which had cable and wifi which was weak but usable. Rate reflects weekly rate with PA discount for three nights. It is located where you have to drive through the fuel station in front of the park but it is easy to access. There is a Go-Kart track right next to the sites so it can get a little noisy when they are running especially if you have a site next to the track. We enjoyed our time here and would return again when in the area. - Eagle-Eye
Jul 2015 - $20.00
We found this a great place to be close to town, large sites, quiet, mini golf to play. We were in the back in the new part, we didn't need their wi-fi nor cable tv. Car wash and laundry next door. - Gail
Jun 2015 - $25.00
Spent a little over a month at the park. They were in the process of adding more sites, fencing and landscaping the property. There is a mini golf/game room/go kart track on the property. The noise from the track can get quite loud and the traffic coming thru park to get to go kart place makes things very dusty. Cable and wifi were included in our rate and we had a brick patio with fire pit at our site. Sites were nice and roomy, very little shade and water was pretty hard. There is a picnic area and playground. Laundry facilities were nearby but not very clean, along with a dog was and car wash. Dog friendly park with nice space to walk dogs. Overall a decent place to stay, especially if you have kids. - am1277
Sep 2016 - $20.00
The rate for RVs is now $20 a night. Our pull-thru site was long enough to accommodate any size rig. While there are no water hookups at the sites, there is water at a spigot (threaded for a hose connection) on the side of the restroom building. Accessing the building requires a sharp U-turn, so it may not be possible for larger rigs.
The park was clean and quiet.
Registration and access to amenities was a bit unusual. An attendant comes into the park about 6 pm to collect payments, dole out restroom keys (should you need one), and reveal the WiFi password. He was available for about 3 hours, so if you miss that period you may be out of luck. - JackSchmotzer
Aug 2014 - $15.00
Very nice and well maintained downtown city park. Six or seven 30 amp sites and at least one 50 amp site. Gravel road and sites. Plenty of room on the sites. Rooftop dish worked fine, Verizon cell and hotspot worked fine. No water or sewer. I did not see a dump station. There were a couple construction workers staying there so they left early in the morning. - big greg
Jun 2014 - $15.00
This is a very pretty park, we stay here when we visit family in town. We only gave this a 6 because although they have a water fill up station it is hard to get to and you have to go across town to dump. They also have a bit of a drainage issue. The park is in the flood plain so when they had an unseasonable amount of rain the park flooded and we had to switch sites. Despite these issues this is still a nice park to stay in when visiting town. - toypulr
