The sites are sandy with grass & very shady. We were in a 40' motor home & although the site was barely long enough for our rig, there was adequate space alongside it to park our towed vehicle. I would give a higher rating if pads were stabilized gravel or paved. Our site was spacious. We were able to shoot our roof top satellite through the trees for TV reception. The bathrooms are immaculate and the staff are very friendly & helpful. Our Verizon had 2 bars. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

Pretty nice KOA near the “sights” in the Twin Cities area. We had a pull thru W/E and used the sanitary dump provided on our way out. Our site was a “buddy” site with shared utility pole on one side and shared green area on door side (not my favorite but the lots were wide enough for some privacy). Things got pretty muddy when it rained and some of the sites were under water, though everything dried up nicely when the sun came out. No cable TV. Decent campground grade WIFI. 3 bars LTE Verizon and solid ATT signal. Nice pool. Nice people who were always working around the park. Nice fenced dog area. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped in a 40 ft motorhome. Mostly dirt parking with lots of nice grass areas. Sewer connection on correct side of coach, water and electric on wrong side. Just barely enough hose and power cord to reach the connections by feeding them under the coach. Very poor WiFi. Unable to open mail. Pleasant staff and adequate laundry room. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed here 3 nights to visit Minneapolis (30-40 minutes). Campground is several miles off I94 but could hear road construction during day. Campground has pool, convenient dog park and nice playground with somewhat more spacious sites than most KOA's. Roads and pads are gravel/dirt with grass between sites. Pads are level and each site has a picnic table and fire rink. This is an older campground and has a hodgepodge of 20,30 or 50 amp sites of various lengths of pull through or backins, some with but most without sewer. There is a dump station. They do not pick up trash. There are a lot of trees so if satellite is important be sure to ask. My pull through site #58 was open, no sewer and longer than my 45 ft and tow and could get satellite. Wifi was spotty. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

Road leading into Campground was a muddy rutted mess. They need a lot of stone to fill pot holes and cover the dirt. Our Energy Management System kicked off power 3 times the first night due to a bad ground. The WiFi was useless. It was convenient to Minneapolis sites. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a typical old KOA campground, badly in need of some updating. The roads are dirt, so it is dusty. The WiFi is very weak and no cable but we were able to get local stations with good reception from our antenna. My biggest issue is the sewer connection was on the driver side, but water and electric was on the passenger side so every other site is like this, or 1 podium for 2 sites. We were told "well it's a 45 year old place". So we had our water hose and power cord outside our door and on our "patio" side. Luckily we had a power cord and water hose that would reach the podium. There are a lot of nice big trees for shade, unfortunately I think we got the only site with no shade. Our site was not very level, but we were able to get our motor home leveled ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is every type of shopping very close by, but you are still out in the country here. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA was very nice. They had the standard KOA type amenities with a playground, pool, and mini golf. The sites were nice, spacious, and plenty of green. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. Our site (electric & water) sloped from rear to front, but did not prevent leveling. We needed an outside step for comfortable access to the door. Park was well kept. We would have preferred a full hookup site, but not many available. Overall, a nice park; not many options in the area. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

There are very few campgrounds providing access to the Twin Cities. (The maps and receipts list this as in Maple Grove, not Rogers.) This was a fine park, quite busy, but nice sites. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The KOA here was quite pleasant. Situated in one of the few remaining gaps between the many suburbs that make up the Minneapolis/St. Paul mega-city, it was quiet and restful, except for the occasional nearby train that I've come to take as a normal part of camping. The campground is spacious, with a comfortable mix of sun and shade. The gravel sites were just wide enough and long enough for my truck and trailer. I would definitely return to this campground if I come back to the Minneapolis area. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We came to area to visit grandkids for three weeks. There are very limited options since it is near the twin cities. The park is old with shared water and electric pedestals. Our water and electric were right by the door with sewer on the other side. Sites are decent sized. Roads are gravel. Pool is small and worn. There is a small dog park, a mini putt and a playground. The pros are location, location, location. It's located on a highway although road notice isn't bad. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful and even though it's an old park, it's very clean. Short drive to Minneapolis, St Paul, etc. So while it seems overpriced, it's a nice enough campground. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
