The park is a little out of town but just a little. It's nice and quite and the staff is very friendly. Our site was just across a road from the large pond. The beaver and ducks were entertaining to watch. There are signs stating do not feed the ducks but undoubtedly some RVers have trouble with the concept. We photographed six lighthouses a short drive away and enjoyed touring around Saginaw. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an interesting park. Looks like it's been around a while and I'm not sure, but it may be an old aggregate mining site that produced some small lakes and then came a campground. It's spacious and the lakes are pretty. There is a lot of land and lots of paths if you can find them off the back area of the park. The paint on most things is faded and old, but it adds to the charm. There is some goose poop, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be from a previous review. There are mosquitos too... it's Minnesota in the summer. Some OTA channels, good satellite, & good Wifi. Lots of permanent sites which are maintained well. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Goose poop everywhere. Nice park with little lakes all over. Some lots have some shade. Water was the only issue I can say I had. It is well water and smells. Made dogs have loose stool. Sites are back in and back in right up to another rv. Lots of full timers .. try to get a lot in the front since they have more shade or trees and a view of a lake. Not but about 8miles to shopping. Stayed here to see Duluth area. No real place to ride bikes. off highway so not too noisy...train in distance can be heard some. wifi worked great as did Verizon no cable tv Water was our only issue really and backing up to another rv. Lots of weekenders from town. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a lovely park in a beautiful setting. The manager is a great guy who is very laid back and helpful. Had an issue with the breaker tripping and he came right over and changed it to fix the problem. The sites face a lake and the area is very peaceful - but close enough to Duluth to be convenient. There are open areas to play with the dogs and a beautiful hiking trail that is cut through the 190 acres of the resort. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice enough place for short stay. Level pull thru full hookup 30/50 amp gravel sites. No dog run or other amenities. Just a place to stay off Hwy 53. A little pricey, but would stay here again. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Ogston's for a week. We had a back in site in front of one of the lakes. The scenery was lovely, but they had hundreds of geese and there was goose poop everywhere. It was like walking through a minefield. I understand that it's difficult to do something about this, but we don't pay to not be able to wander. In addition, I asked if we could ride our electric golf cart, because I can't walk far. I was told no, because if we did, all the kids would want to. But we watched the seasonals rig around in their carts and ATVs. If you have rules for one group, they need to be the same for all. What was a bonus is that major shopping areas were only eight miles away, so we were able to care of some things we needed to as well as stock up. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Site is wide and long, level. The 3 lakes are lovely. WiFi is good. Over-the-air TV is good. Staff are very helpful. There is a lot of iron in the water and I had to clean it off every few days. We used an extra filter for drinking and cooking. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Location is nice, right next to several lakes (and quiet at night). Unfortunately, you cannot swim in them due to leeches which will get on you....yuk. Goose poop all near the ponds in the grass. No tornado shelter. I was able to sit in the shallow to keep cool. That was nice. WiFi was non-existent. Men's restroom: One toilet, one shower, one urinal for all the sites (all 90 of them!). Never used it. Spacious between sites. The hookups were fine except the water hookup was on the passenger side behind us...need to ring a LONG hose(s). Sites near the lake are back-to-back so we had to unhook our car trailer to fit in the site. Escort to the site. Otherwise we would've had to book the site behind us. Site was level. We did not do any TV. Owners were nice and around. He took me around to see a couple of sites to choose from. Cash or check only. No amenities so the price was a bit steep. Water quality was very hard with iron in it. If you stay a long time, you'll see it show up in your toilet and sinks. We'll probably find another place next visit. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We chose this park due to the 8+ rating on RV Pk Reviews, but when we arrived we did not think it was up to that high a rating. Sites were gravel with some grass between but not really landscaped. Other parks that charge $40/night seem to offer more. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Private park on a lake 5 miles from small town and 15 miles to Duluth. Quiet. Paved roads and gravel sites with grass between. Long and level back in sites with open sky for big rigs in one area and shorter sites in another area. All sites FHU. Only wifi at some sites. Staff friendly and helpful. Good for travelers and big rigs. Water faucet for every other site, may need extra hose if on wrong side. Would stay there again. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Convenient, easy-to-find location, easy for big-rigs to maneuver roads and sites. Our site was a back-to-back pull-thru (first one there can pull through, the second one has to back in). Nice little lakes around campground were good for fishing from the bank or the john boat or canoe available for campers' use. Utilities worked fine but water has so much iron it stained the toilet and bathroom sink. OTA TV worked well. Only gripe is the wifi is unusable. The owner told us there wasn't enough bandwidth to serve everyone so it would be hit or miss. (It was "miss" only.) Saw only two wifi repeaters in park and neither was near the pull-thru area. $42 a night is too much without working wifi. Fortunately our Verizon hotspot worked well. Other than the wifi, we loved Ogston's and would definitely stay again. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Basic campground with few amenities, but clean and quiet. Campground is about 20 minutes west of Duluth and less than 10 minutes to the main mall in the area with loads of shops, restaurants, etc. One negative: only 1 full toilet and 1 full shower in men's restroom. Women's restroom also appeared to be very small. Laundry facilities are available. Sites are open with very few trees around. Rigs and pull vehicles were much nicer than average. Park seems to attract a fairly affluent crowd despite its limited amenities and basic nature. Owner was very friendly. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A very nice RV park. A long, tree lined drive takes you to the office, which is next to the owners' home. You drive around towards the barns and end up facing downhill next to the house. The owners are very pleasant. The RV park is large, and has four good size ponds. The roads and sites are gravel. They are shared sites, back to back, so one gets to pull thru and the other has to back in. The front area where we stayed had a nice view of the biggest pond, with all kinds of geese walking around. The sites are level and the patio area is grassy and good size. The restroom is in the back section so a bit of a walk if you're up front. The restrooms are in a multi use building with the laundry and game room and TV lounge. The restrooms were nothing fancy but fine. We camped at Ogston's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Long sites. Need long hose for water and be warned toe water has a very high iron content. Even with filters the toilet etc. were stained. Close to Duluth and a good base of operations.
