Aug 2018 - $30.00
Some seasonal sites on either end. We stayed in a full hookup gravel site that was nicely shaded. Park is next to the Lake right in town. Easy walk to the Park and outdoor Theater. Relaxing and quiet. There was a lot of traffic on the road right behind us. City water park is right there too. We loved Sauke Center. Plan to tour Sinclair Lewis' home. - MrBill54
Jul 2016 - $30.00
Very nice campground located on a lake right in town. The site we had was small and hard to get into but we made it. Nice walking and biking paths in the area and a short walk to the American Legion for a good meal. Host took the time to show me the site before we paid and helped us get back in. - repeterson
Aug 2012 - $28.00
Was a nice city campground on the edge of town. Roads are paved and the sites are grassy and pretty level. The sites are pretty close together. You will get to know the family next to you fast. The bathrooms and showers need some up dating. As long as I could get a full hook up site I will go there again. - B HANSEN

A little city park which was perfect for an overnight stop off I94. We stayed on a weekday when the ball fields were quiet. It is a first come park and there were several campers on July 3, but also some open sites. It was very quiet with a nice concrete walking trail. Our site was right on the Sauk River which was pretty. We definitely would stop again. - busyteach
Sep 2016 - $12.00
This is a hidden gem if your passing along I-94 and need to stay overnight. 50 amp & Water for $15/night pay box at campground. Right along the banks of the Sauk River, river sites only have 20 or 30 amp there are 4 sites with 20, 30 & 50 amp, next to ball diamond. One pedastal for every two sites, so some utilities on opposite side of most trailers or RV's. No checkout time, no reservations, 7 night maximum stay. Nice grassy park with gravel pads, level sites. The four sites by the ball diamond are big rig accessible. No sewer hookups, but a nice dump station is available. Verizon data speed 3.34 mbps. Able to get satellite TV reception at our site. - dmkimm

Jul 2016 - $33.00
A vert shady RV park with lots of elbow room. Spacious pull-troughs. Very clean and reasonably quiet. Grassy pull-through lots can be soggy in rainy weather. Staff very friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before, and likely to return. - W Davidson
Jul 2015 - $30.00
This is a lovely park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The buildings are clean and kept up. Lots of shade, and a quiet place. Lots are strangely laid out, but usable and with good service. - W Davidson
Aug 2013 - $32.00
We stayed here in a 41 foot Monaco Motorhome for 4 nights. We have relatives in Little Falls (22 miles away) which was very convenient. The owners on sight were very cordial and helpful even to cut a pine tree branch so it wouldn't rub the side of our slide. The spaces are so wide you could fit 2 campers in one site. Plenty of parking for our relatives to use. The ac, but observed owner cleaning them each morning. Hard workers and it shows. Clean park would give it a 10 out of 10. Would stay again in a heart beat! Thanks owners for a pleasant stay. - Liv'in The American Dream

Aug 2019 - $25.00
This park was nearly deserted the 2 days I was here. It is only about 2 miles from I-94 and 5 miles from downtown. You have to cross a private RR crossing. The first 24 hours, there were about 8 trains, the next 24 only 2. The train horn will wake you up. If the wind is from the north you hear the traffic from the interstate. On Monday night maybe 10 shooters were there until dark. On Tuesday it isn't open.
When it is open there is a person to pay who comes in about 5 PM, if no one is here you use a drop box. There is 1 washer and dryer ($1 each). You can find a site that is level without using levelors. - mrracechaser
Aug 2019 - $20.00
Pulled in and had just a little difficulty finding the self registration (its by the Managers residence) but easy self check in with numerous wide, long and grassy sites to choose from. Middle of the week and only a few other RVs onsite. 50 amp power available but you may have to search a little. Water pressure was very good and we did not use the onsite dumpstation. We would certainly stay again if traveling through the area. - run2
Sep 2017 - $20.00
This park office opens at 2:00 so if you get there earlier, just look at the board and pick a spot. Once the office opens just stop in and pay. It's a very laid back place with lots of grass. Our site was easy to level in and the utility post was well located. It was not busy at all while we were there. All pull thru sites. The 50 amp sites seem to be at the end of the rows toward the office. Dump station is located near the entrance and they charge $4. We stayed here in a 42'MH towing. Would definitely stay here again, very peaceful. Walmart etc nearby. - User3025

May 2018 - $40.00
This is an older motel (re-named several times) at some time they added the RV sites in an inner and outer loop. Not sure anything is level, we sure were not. IMHO not worth the $$, but there is nothing else in the area with FHU. Pets welcome, no dog area, but plenty of grass in the middle (this floods with rains). OTA TV. We stayed here to visit family in the area, if there is a next time I will look harder at other options. - Sergent Major
Jun 2017 - $22.00
Sites could use some leveling, but CG is clean. Price is very good. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Wifi is very usable. This is not a 'resort' CG, but if you want somewhere to stay while going out and about, it's great. For the best satellite and wifi reception, get an inner spot. - Walt Bennett
Jul 2016 - $38.00
This park is mostly a location for working in the local area. The manager was very nice and gave me a site but added that she wasn't sure if someone was there or not. If so, then pick an open site. Even though she didn't ask me to return and give her my location if I moved, I did anyway. They had some storms the night before and she wasn't sure if the Wi-Fi would work or not. Later in the day and this morning it seems to be working OK. The park is small with dirt/gravel sites that are small but it works for an overnight. It was quiet so I would stay here again when passing through. I selected tight turns for interior roads but that is mainly due to parking of the residents. If they were to park properly, then no big deal for the tight turns. - Jack&Wanda
