Jun 2017 - $25.00
Right by the lake. Washboard road leads to the park. No water connection, although there is a place to fill up. No sewer connection, but there is a dump station. There is electricity. We picked up some tv stations using our antenna. Campsites are on the grass and the sites aren't well defined. That being said, it's a pleasant place to stay by the lake, quiet and easy southbound access to the highway. No close services, restaurants or grocery stores. Cost was reasonable at $25. - jkp99b
Aug 2016 - $20.00
This is a no-frills campground. The sites are grass, and have water and 30 A electric. There is a dump station on the facility. This is right next to the lake but I would not call this lakeside camping, since there is a dirt road between the sites and the lake, and the lake has docks and other areas that people go fishing from.
The camp host has wood and ice available for purchase at a reasonable cost. The sign said $15 for the site but he asked for $20 and I didn't argue Maybe there was some fine print and I wasn't going to stand on principle over $5.
Shower and restroom were clean enough, though could use a coat of paint. Water was warm and strong. Almost no one was here in Mid-August and they do not take reservations. - zDale
Aug 2019 - $32.00
This campground is very easy to access of interstate 90 in southern Minnesota. Check in was a breeze and the lady at the desk was very accommodating. She walked down to our site and help us position the motorhome. All the hook ups worked as they should. Road noise from the interstate was a non-factor for us. The grounds were well kept, the site was level and the park was visually appealing. We stayed here in a motorhome and will stay here again if in the area. - bones1941
Aug 2019 - $22.00
Nice campground, well kept. We used it twice on our trip, once going east, then going west. There didn't seem to be a limit on how many nights you can use your Passport America discount. Good Wifi, satellite and Verizon reception. Only (slightly) negative comment would be - sewer connection was too tall, though manageable. I would prefer one that is flush with or only a little above the ground. Ours was nearly a foot tall, but was within one hose length of our trailer. - donpen
Aug 2019 - $22.00
This is a nice, clean, no-frills park. The park is extremely well kept and has a very pleasant feel. The sites are level, easy to enter and exit, and the hookups are very convenient. The wifi worked very well. It is convenient to get to, right off I-90. - Gator67
Oct 2019 - $43.00
Very nice park. Large and level site. Fantastic laundry and WiFi. But many ruts in the road and the garbage is far away. As far as I could tell there was one can way in the front. Otherwise we enjoyed it. Great for walking the dog. - Jim Legoullon
Oct 2019 - $48.00
We've stayed at a number of KOAs over the years. This one was one of the more pleasant ones as the sites, while somewhat close, were pleasantly spaced out as compared to most KOAs we've been to. Easy access to sites, good water pressure, Wi-Fi was spotty, at best but a decent amount of OTA channels available for TV in place of cable TV. Decent, level sites. Airport across the road but did not hear any plane traffic. Would stay again. - Phoenix62959
Sep 2019 - $35.00
Pretty typical KOA Journey. Convenient from I-90. Long enough, level, gravel-covered pullthrough with functional W/S/E. Sites are very close together; neighbor’s grill was almost under our kitchen window. No cable. Spotty WiFi. Ok Verizon and ATT. Bumpy access road and tight interior roads. There was a dog park in the back of the park, but we couldn’t find a way to get to it without walking through other sites. Plenty of green space for doggy at front of park. We would return to this KOA if in the area. - Janau NC

Great Campground - Plenty of space!
Pulled into this newer campground on a weekend stay in the area. It's fairly new, so all the hookups and facilities still have that "New" feel to them.
There are several play areas for the kids, which were very welcome, and each spot has plenty of "elbow" room from your neighbors.
As was previously said, campfire wood is available on site, and the owners are around to help with anything needed.
Since this is a new campground there is not a lot of shade by the sites yet. I'm sure in a couple years when the tree's take off this will be a lot better, but for now, you'll need to use the awning.
Overall it was a great experience and I'm sure we'll be back. - flippet
Jun 2015 - $25.00
This is a very quiet and peaceful campground located on a good fishing lake with a dock, seating and a paddle boat. The owners are on site and very friendly and accommodating. Firewood is available and a bargain. It was very windy 2 or the 4 days we were there, we were on the top of the campground and we were rockin' and rollin'.
For all you quilters or seamstresses they have a very nice club house with several large rooms and 2 ping pong tables. They opened it up for me so I could do some cutting. An awesome facility. You could probably "hog"one room and lock it every night and your stuff would be safe. - chris and jerry
Jun 2004 - $18.00
Some of the sites were a little hard to level. You had to pay a $7.00 one time daily fee on top of the nightly rate which wouldn't be bad if you stay for more than one night but overall it was nice and if in the area again we'd stay. - Donna P
Sep 2019 - $45.00
We spent one night at the Flying Goose and found it to be a great location. Paved streets, plenty of activities if you want to take advantage of them. Beautiful lake! Would highly recommend staying here. We have a 43 ft Motorhomes and tow a Jeep and had no trouble getting to the campground or navigating the park. - K Lust
Aug 2019 - $48.00
We stayed here one night while en route to Mankato for RV service. This park is south of I-90 and reachable from either the Blue Earth or Fairmont exits (depending on road construction!). The park is located on Lake Imogene and has lots of green space. It appears that many campers are seasonal but sites were well kept. Our site was level with adequate utilities. Interior roads were adequate. We would stay here again. - gbburgess
Aug 2019 - $43.00
Beautiful lush green grassy park on Lake Imogene. Nice wooden swings in area facing lake for relaxing, a beach area, and a dock. Seasonal sites are all around lake edge and our short term pull through site was in the back. The whole park is nicely manicured and the owner seems very nice and works hard. Curbside trash pickup, escorted to site. All very nice. Gravel pad and bath house is in a large building in the center. The concrete showers I chose not to use. - PattiB

Oct 2018 - $25.00
We had beers staying at a CG in Madelia, about 15 minutes east of here. With weather forecasts calling for heavy rain and a flood watch, we moved here because the sites are concrete pads. We were only here 2 nights, but we are very happy with the campground. The sites, as noted, are concrete and level, with a mix of pull through and back-in. Sites have 50 amp, water and sewer. Recycling and trash dump at park. There are bathrooms as well, and a shelter. The campground is on the lakeshore—I imagine in the summer this is quite busy, but in October we pretty much have the place to ourselves. We would consider returning should we be back in the area. No cable, but good over the air TV, good cell (verizon) service, and free WiFi that works! - SandmannRV
Jul 2017 - $25.00
We have been impressed by how much effort my home town has put into making this small campground a great value for the traveling and visiting public. Since there are so few, let me list the CONS first: 1. No reservations. First come, first served. Since we were coming all the way from KS I sent a relative an extra night's payment and they filled out the paperwork and parked one of their vehicles in a spot for us. We feel it was a legit move as we paid for the spot for three nights. 2. No WIFI, No Cable. PROS: 1. It is on the lake! Our windshield and side windows had a great view of the peaceful vista. 2. It had all the necessary services - Good water pressure, choice of 20/30/50 amp 120v which was phased correctly and steady, sewer (what can you say about sewer? It worked). 3. Had a half dozen free airwave channels. 4. Lot's to do within walking distance Community Pool. Fishing Dock. Boat Launch Ramp. Short walk around end of lake to huge city park with volley ball pits, playground equipment, picnic shelters and tables. 5. Did I mention? It is right on the lake! Okay. I moved to Kansas and I miss Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. - HunkyDoryKS
Sep 2012 - $20.00
Really nice campground. Many sites are paved. Good over-the-air tv signal and 4-5 bars on horizon. Restrooms were not clean when we arrived, but we complained and they corrected the problem. Would definitely stay here again. - herbee
