We picked this park because it was in route to our RV dealer, we had a appointment for warranty work. When we arrived the park was crowded because of Labor Day weekend. The roads are wide and we had no problem getting to our site. Our site had full hookup and a level concrete pad, that was the good. The bad - the trees that dumped tree trash all over the RV and site. Unable to get a satellite signal, only 3 local channels and our T-mobile hot spot was slow to no. Killed three ants in side and decided to spray around the outside. There were numerous large ant hills throughout the park, be careful. Large Horse flies every were, DW doesn't like bugs or flying insects so she stayed inside. Over all we did not like this park. We stayed here for 11 days. Aberdeen, MS is a small town with small mom and pop stores. Walmart is 12 mi away in Armory, MS (dry County) Aberdeen is not. - california3201

Very nice COE campground with asphalt pad and roads. My site was on lake which was nice. - Bjb1775
Mar 2018 - $22.00
Nice wooded park with water views. This campground was very quiet, almost silent at times. Has nice concrete sites, fire rings and table. Ok cell service and some OTA tv channels were received. Very peaceful place. - Kenhwy61

Love this park! All sites have water and electricity. Sites 62 & 65 have sewer. Very nice paved pathway through the forest. There's a small lake/pond nearby. Only negative is that we're near the Columbus AFB airport and you can hear/see the planes occasionally if you're outside (not while inside the RV with the A/C running). - Wandering With Us
Jul 2018 - $20.00
Beautiful park, friendly staff. Initially we choose a spot close to the water, but after getting there and seeing that the park was mostly empty, we decided to change to one of the more secluded lots in the back. The spots along the water were closer together, very close to the water, less shade but great views of the Tenn-Tom waterway. On the other side of the loop, particularly the outer side, there was full tree canopy (so lots of shade) and more privacy. Next to our concrete pad was a large demarcated square patio containing a picnic table, grill, fire pit, tall lamp post and a solid square chopping block, perfect for having next to the grill. The park hosts were very friendly, and one lady brought by a treat for our dog. There was a lovely bike/walking path. There were lots of bugs including mosquitoes and I got multiple bites despite spraying myself with bug spray 3 times a day (but mosquitoes tend to bite me more than others). Also there were a lot of ticks and the camp host said this year was the worst he'd seen. So this might be better in future years. No WiFi. T-mobile coverage fair enough to create hotspot. Room for improvement: The picnic benches at the sites need to be pressure washed, the algae/mold pickup makes them very unappealing. There needs to be at least one trash dumpster per loop. The closest was 1/4 mile away at the front entrance and we didn't have a toad. Nevertheless it was a lovely park and we'd stay there again. - GearDown

What value, close to West Point and Columbus but oh so quiet and peaceful with long, easily accessed sites and full hookups. - Mrs.Picky

Park very nice and clean. Very quiet. We were right on the Tenn-Tom waterway and had a site that backed up to the water. Our site was so level that we didn't even need to unhook. Not much activity from nearby Air Force Base right now, but don't imagine that to be the norm. Only a few sites in this park have sewer hookups. There are 2 dump sites right beside one another. - Alan and Sarah
Apr 2018 - $11.00
DeWayne Hayes is a very pretty facility with lots of mature trees. Many of the sites back up to the Tom Biggbee River. There's not a lot of foliage between sites (so you'll likely have a fairly "open view" to your neighbors). Most sites are quite large and the roads/layout make for easy maneuvering, even for big rigs. They also appeared pretty level. There are Nature Trails paved with "sidewalks". We rode our bikes and saw views of the woods and slough. Be careful...some of the walkway concrete has been displaced by tree roots and isn't level. There are several clean and heated (!) bathhouses throughout the Park. There are also two boat launch ramps and numerous fish cleaning stations. Park personnel were friendly and accommodating. The town of Columbus, MS, is not far away (a few miles drive) with most everything you might need. There must be a very large drawing area for goods and services, as traffic is intense. You can't be in a hurry in Columbus! The Columbus Air Force Base is also close by and you'll likely see/hear lots of future pilots training in T-38's as they begin their AF careers. It was not a problem for us, though. There are two dump stations as you leave the campground. It's quite a trek to the trash dumpsters from the higher numbered sites. I rode my bike. - Have RV_Will Travel
Mar 2018 - $20.00
If you don't like the sound of airplane noise, don't stay here. Air force training base very close. Limited number of sites with sewer and the ones with a good view of the water did not have sewer. This is a typical COE campground. - kcarter

We stopped her a couple nights on our way through the area. Quiet place. Everyone we met was friendly. This is a marina that also has 4 full-hookup RV sites added. We stayed here in a 40' motor home. Sites do not have numbers. We were in the site on the South side of the bath house. - jprisbe

Arrived at 5 pm-- owners nowhere to be found. Left at 10 am the next morning, still not having ever seen them. Appear to be mostly full-timers in this cramped park w/no shower facilities. I backed in against an all night gas station which was pretty loud through the night. Overall unpleasant experience. - 23States
Apr 2008 - $13.00
Very friendly and helpful. Convenient to Columbus. Sites close together. Well kept and quiet. Most of the RVs seemed to be permanent dwellers. The shady, pull-through sites at the front are the best. Convenience drove the decision to stay here. Will stay here again to visit relatives in the area. Not a vacation type park. - Macklen

This park is private and secure. A little on the primitive side but nice. It's a quiet area just minutes from town. Has views of the river which is quite peaceful. Woke up to sounds of nature, birds singing and even saw deer and squirrels. It was very relaxing. Mostly long term campers, working in the area, some with families, sitting around a campfire at night. Will definitely visit again! - Jared Woodall

Nov 2017 - $25.00
Small RV park in the edge of Columbus off Hwy 82. Very convenient, easy to find, a little tight on the entrance but negotiable for big rigs. Gravel drive and pads, level and in good shape. Mostly back-ins with about 4 pull-thrus. Full hookups, everything works but water spigot are low in the ground and tight to hook up. A lot of highway noise, you don't hear it with the ac running. Appeared to be mainly full-timers and some overnighters. No reservations and never saw the owner, just a registration slip and honor box. There is a laundry room and what I think was a storm shelter. The next exit down has restaurants, groceries and gas. Decent overnight stop but not a destination park. - Andrew65

May 2016 - $18.00
We had a wonderful time. The trails are great and the hosts go out of their way to help and are super nice. If you are into trail riding and camping this is a must do place to go. The Camp is well run and very family friendly. The trails are easy to moderate depending on which ones you take. There is natural water available throughout the ride. Big rigs have no problem getting in and out. The only reason I didn't give them a ten is because some of the sites need to be leveled up. We definitely plan on going back. - Richard and Andie
Jan 2016 - $18.00
Talk about personality, Stinkin' Jim's takes the cake. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was New Years, and they had great parties to which we were invited.
We did not see bathrooms or showers, our campsite was anything but level, just a post with water and electric on grass/dirt. The were lots of rv's and horse trailers, maybe their campsites were better...If you like to pet horses and feed them carrots, this is the place for you. - Vic and Marsha
Nov 2009 - $18.00
The full and proper name for this park is "Stinkin' Jim's Horse Camp." Check out their website. It'll explain it all. This camp fast becoming a favorite stop over for RVers traveling the Natchez Trace Parkway. The camp is only a couple miles off the parkway and easily driven to in any size rig-our neighbors were in a 40' motorhome and mentioned that they had no problems driving the county roads to the camp. If you want to be deafened by the sound of silence in the woods, and if you want to be awakened by roosters at 6 in the morning than this is the place for you. Wildlife abounds here!!! In 6 years of RVing, this has become our favorite campground! Check it out!! - DANANDHISBETTERHALFJUDY

Small park with only 8 sites. Easy access into park and inside park as well. All sites are gravel back-ins with full hookups. Owner was out of town so her mother came and checked us in, fast and friendly. Park is clean, lots of trees for shade. Very quiet. We were in Site 6, we had to take the hose connect from Site 8 (per owners instructions) as the last people who stayed here took it with them. The site is plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, storing the tow-dolly and parking the car. This site is nice and wide, others are more narrow, no picnic table or fire ring. There is no WiFi and our Verizon signal was okay. There are no bathrooms or laundry on site. We stayed March 14-17, 2018 and paid $25.00 a night with no discounts. Just minutes from downtown Columbus. - BarrettsHappyTrails
