3 RV Parks near Brookhaven, Mississippi
Sep 2017 - $20.00
No staff on site, but the owner is REALLY laid back and only asked for payment on the day I was leaving. Told me to just drive in whenever I get there and pick whatever spot I can find. Park is all concrete behind a fence. Couldn't reserve in advance, but apparently the park is never full, so I didn't mind. I only parked here for a few days because I was visiting family in town & didn't even stay in the RV when I was parked there, so I can't really give an accurate review. However, I can tell you that while I was parked there, the water line busted underground on my water hook-up for whatever reason. No one saw it, and since I wasn't there, I couldn't verify why. However, the other park residents came to my spot & cleaned it up for me and connected me to another water hook-up...all while I wasn't there. Owner had it fixed the next morning. I would park here again in a heart-beat when I come back into town. 20 bucks daily rate for a full-hookup is hard to beat, even in Brookhaven, MS. - RLT1

We have stayed here a dozen times last five years. Great at first, but has changed. No max stay. Last six months has seen serious changes to the park. Always full with long term trailers. Has changed from an RV park to a long term mobile park with administration only caring about rent payments. Clutter around units is prevalent. Ambiance has changed to trailer park attitude with disregard for property rights, management reflecting drop in expectation for renter attitudes and neatness. Management caring only for rent payments on time. No respect for site integrity and protection. Better options available at nearby State Parks. Really sad to see negative changes in staff attitudes for campers in favor of trailer park trash environment. - Vdsavell

The challenge is finding the park entrance. Using the published directions on the website, as soon as you negotiate the 90 degree curve, turn LEFT into the gate in the chain link fence. The sign is on the gate and small. Sites are paved but all slant a bit. Good hookups, some pull-throughs. Clean shower house. Great for an overnight or two. We would stay again. Not too far from I-55. - Seeingtheusa.com

Very spacious sites. The park is well maintained. Satellite reception is only available from limited sites due to foliage. - GlenO

Camped here to get away from Hurricane Nate. The park itself is pretty, the beach is nice and clean. That's the only nice I have to say about it. The gate attendant was beyond rude and the bathroom and showers at our loop were filthy. I guess they cater to the lakeside campsites. They don't really have sites for rigs longer than 35 but the website will reserve anyway. We asked for a bigger site upon seeing our original one and the attendant was beyond rude. I understand rules but are also rules for having manners also in a public service setting. Won't be back! - csbunz123

Very nice park. Beautiful lake front sites. Some sites were a little on the narrow side, but still plenty of room for our 32' travel trailer. We stayed at site 56. The pad was level, maybe a slight slope towards the lake. There was a drop off off the pad which was my least favorite part of this site. We tripped several times going to and from the lake due to the drop off. Other sites had level ground, we would choose one of them next time.
The proximity to the lake was great! We were able to wake up and fish right from our site. Lake was clean and beautiful. Kids could swim at the beach area and play at the playground. No cell phone service, tall trees blocked the satellite signal.
We will definitely return. - HappycamperJV
