Entry off the main road is rough. That part of the road might belong to the propane company and not the park, but once you get past the propane company, it has GOT to belong to the park, especially with all the park signs. The road is a pot-hole filled dung heap. Better to use the gas station as a pass-thru to the entry road if you can. Park's loop road is also a pot-hole filled dung heap. Shows me the owners don't give a damn about their customers' RVs, they just want that quick buck. A box blade is cheap. Cheaper still is a width of chain link fence weighted down by a few cinder blocks slowly dragged behind a truck or ATV moving gravel from high spots to the low spots. But that might be too much effort for the owners. Electric and water pressure were fine. No cap on the sewer connection. Lousy site drainage during/after rain, so if it is wet, you're going to get muddy. One reviewer said the park is quiet. PUH-LEEZE!! No, it is NOT quiet. It is beside an interstate, so no, not even close to quiet. Wifi was down while we were there and not going to be fixed for several days. Site lengths vary as does site muddiness, so if one doesn't work for you, another might be better. Or not. Will not return, not even for an overnight. - TH travelers

We came from coast to get out of hurricane. Came in at night, smell was horrible. When could see, site was filthy. Dog poop everywhere and smell of either dog urine or human or both was sickening. Open sewer connections were not capped. Roads bad, kids on golf carts doing wheelies almost hitting us. List goes on and also too many old campers that are very unkempt. The worse campground I have ever been in!!! - Pamelia
Jul 2017 - $17.00
As stated if you take out the bad roads in, overgrown bushes and trees, mowers throwing grass allover the sides of your rv, and all the work that was needed to improve the restrooms it was a average park. Good Sam should inspect this park again. - glbaker44

We picked up our new Vilano 5th wheel in St. Louis a few days prior and headed out on our three month adventure. Dub Patton was our first stop and although we had made reservations several months prior, we called ahead because we read online that there was road work going on. The Park Ranger was surprised we had reservations because they were currently no longer taking/monitoring reservations. We had no problems with the road in or finding the park.
Originally, we reserved spot 8 but that spot was on a slope and not long enough for the 39' fifth wheel plus our truck, although the website says it can accommodate up to 39'. Since the park was essentially empty, we decided to take spot 14 which was longer and had a great lake view. Many of the spots in this loop have a lake view. We were in the first park loop that was open and the second was closed. When we walked our dogs, we noticed that second loop had electric and water as well but the sites are small probably not taking much more than a 30 foot trailer. As mentioned above, the three night stop was essentially a shake down for the new 5th wheel. We experienced a cracked water heater and our St. Louis dealer got with Town & Country Mobile RV who came to our campsite and replaced the heater. The camp host, rangers, and the mobile RV service were all very friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes away there's a small strip mall with an Outfitters convenience store. Though we did not try it, we were told by a local that they make great pizza. The mall had a sign for a laundromat but it was not open anymore. The town of Hernando about 30 miles away did have a laundromat, Walmart, and the usual midsize city amenities. Also, in the town square there were several dining options and boutiques for the ladies. We would definitely stay here again. - MK_Willi

After a week in noisy New Orleans, this place was the perfect antidote. This waterfront campground was quiet and scenic during the day and very quiet and dark at night. It has spacious paved sites that have 50 amp and water. Had good OTA tv from Memphis and decent cell service. Sewer dump is on the way out and a little tight for big units. They have many non-reservable sites that are first come-first served. I would recommend arriving before night fall as it is well off the beaten path and very dark. - Kenhwy61
Apr 2015 - $20.00
This is an Army Corp of Engineers park and quite nice. We found maneuvering with our 30 foot travel trailer pulled by a pickup a bit tight and most of the campsites would have been too short to allow us to park without unhooking but we found one just long enough. We didn't see any official people at all and everything is done on the honour system at a kiosk. It was really quiet and nice. There is a wonderful children's park at the picnic site nearby and some really nice walking trails easily accessible from the campground. There is a also a nice wide ramp to get your boat into the water. We saw many birds and an armadillo and heard coyotes. We also saw a rattlesnake on a trail (it took off as we approached) so be careful with dogs. This place is a bit over mowed and suburban looking for my taste. Also it is obviously visited during the day by city folks from Memphis proper. We felt a need to watch our stuff a bit more closely than we otherwise would during the day due to traffic of day visiting strangers nearby. - Judy Birchland

This is a nice COE park, easy to get to from I- 55. Decent OTA TV reception out of Memphis. Poor Verizon signal. We paid 10.00 per night using the America the Beautiful pass. Most of the sites are widely spaced with good access for big rigs. Some sites near the lake were very short. Some of the sites had tables, etc. on the opposite side of where we normally open the door. There are a few sites with sewer and they are updating more sites to include sewer. There is a good boat launch. The dumpsters and dump station are a ways from the campground. It would be a long haul to take the portable tank. - winnie1
Sep 2018 - $10.00
Although this is a beautiful campground, maintenance seems to be lax right now. Grass is in need of cutting and office is closed. Restrooms are mostly clean but some of the showers smell a little of mildew. The first loop (Sites 1-10) is closed right now and it looks like sewer connections are being installed. There is a sign on the road indicating that another loop will be closing started Oct. 1 for sewer installation. There is a sign at the office indicating all the hiking trails are closed due to some flooding. - Nomads_2

What a value with Golden Age Passport! We reserved ahead and had a spot on the lake -spot 19. Very clean, reliable power and only downside no onsite sewer. - Scooterd16

We stayed here on our way north from the Gulf. Started with one night but because of storms in Illinois we ended up staying 3 nights. Our regular Memphis campground was flooded because it is right on the Mississippi. The view here at EZ Daze was not as nice as the other park but it was drier. The park was well-designed and easy to navigate. It is located about 15 minutes from downtown Memphis. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. - mountainfan
Jan 2019 - $45.00
Overall, this is a very nice park. However, the spaces are quite close together and there are no trees. We did have a fire ring which surprised me with how close the sites were. The power was fine, the water and sewer were OK, and the hookups were conveniently located. We stayed there for an overnight on our way to the Gulf Coast, and we will stay here on our way back unless we head in a different direction. The price seemed a bit high for what you get, but we have paid more for less in other parks. The park is in the flight path for some nearby airport, so there are planes flying over fairly regularly. They are still fairly high so the noise is not objectionable unless you are sensitive to something like that. Did not notice any noise from the highway. - STBRetired
Sep 2018 - $45.00
Rate includes 10% Good Sam discount for a two night stay. The site was back-in, concrete, level with FHU and 50 amp electric. The FHU services worked well. The site included a concrete patio area with a picnic table. The park had easy access to I-55. Memphis International Airport is nearby and plane noise at 3:30am did wake us during both nights of our stay. We had good Verizon voice and data reception and good DishTV satellite reception. - Dave51

This was one of the cleanest and meticulously kept campgrounds we have ever been to! It was obvious the owner took a lot of pride in the campground. Staff could not have been more friendly. Pool was clean and well-kept. Several really fun playgrounds in addition to the jumping pad and pool. Spots are close together and it is definitely urban camping. Not for someone looking for a nature experience. They have a couple of nice fenced-in dog park areas. We had a great time as a family and would definitely come back. We have been to several Jellystone campgrounds and this one was by far the nicest one we have visited. - Darthall
May 2018 - $63.00
We had a nice pull-through spot, close to the office, pool and amenities. Stayed here with our 2 kids (ages 6 and 11). They LOVED it. This campground is very clean and the staff is wonderful. At&T service was good. I am a very light sleeper and did hear one plane (as stated by other reviews) at night, but I would not let that stop me from staying here again. The only downside for us, was price. It's expensive. But it was the last night of a 4 week road trip, so we splurged and had a really great time. If you can swing the price, it's a great stop...especially if you have kiddos. - atlantafamilyof4
May 2018 - $66.00
The sites were a comfortable size allowing us to easily park the toad behind the rig. The campground was clean, neat and well kept. They provide two comfy chairs, a fire pit, and picnic table. I imagine this would be a fun park for families, lots of amenities for children, like a playground, and pool. The negative was the planes flying overhead in the middle of the night. We were there for three nights and one night was really bad, keeping us awake for at least a couple hours in the very early hours (1am - 3am). The other two nights were not as bad but still woke us up several times. The wifi was barely usable, fortunately we had a hotspot with T-Mobile that worked fine. - Dave and Deb

*** BEWARE*** When you hear "cash or check only", take the hint. Pulled into a rolling sea of rv's. Hills, valleys, and everywhere in between. We were told, by phone, (she was "running errands), "Go up the hill, take a rt at the fork, go behind the bath house, theres an open spot up there". Well, we found "the spot", and since it was for overnite only, figured we'd make it work. Thanks to reading forums, we learned long ago to test your power 1st, and good thing too. We've all heard the "POP", seen the sparks, and when we stop shaking, thank the forums for telling us to "Get a Surge Protector!!" so, we called, she asked, "Whats reverse polarity?" Sorry, you own an RV park and were upset we called about bad power? long story short, we re-packed the water hose, and power cable, cleaned the dog sh__ off my boots and "snaked" our way thru the homesteaders back to the highway. Found a state park about 20 miles east, spent a beautiful night there and thought how to write this review. We're sure for the full time residents, they're quite happy, but we suggest you bypass this one if you're looking for a nice, clean, place to stay short term!! - mike & rosie johnson
Aug 2018 - $30.00
Staff was very friendly and helpful. RVs, 5th wheels & travel trailers only. Had no need to use camper park restrooms. I did see a laundry. The park was adequate for us, we just needed a place to overnight. Would stay again if need a quick overnight spot. - Carolina blue
May 2016 - $30.00
Old run down campground, way too expensive for value received. Staff was friendly. Don't take big rig in here. Lot we were in was dirt and unlevel. Tree limbs hanging down dragging top of RV. Would not stay here again. - Mzbhnn

Park CLOSED in June 2014. It is now overgrown and sits forlornly waiting for someone to resurrect it from the dead. Sad as we rated it a 10 last year. - RVInn

We have reservations for this park in June and just received a call from them that they are closing down in May as they say Harrah's Casino is closing for good. If you have reservations or plan to stay there, I suggest that you call and check to see how much longer they will be open. - Luvtheroad
Mar 2014 - $1.00
Now this is what an RV Park should be. Spacious level sites with concrete pads, grass, picnic tables, "night" lights at all sites, and trash receptacle at each site emptied daily. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. The clubhouse was spacious, clean, and included pool table, coffee, vending, and television. Outdoor seasonal pool with covered patio and tables. Dedicated pet and children area, playground, and ball courts. Also, had an hourly shuttle to Harrah's casino. Gated entry added to the security. We stayed 4 nights, and ventured into Memphis (20+ miles) and Tunica area. Normal rate is $14 but we were comped our stay by Harrah's. Most of the sites were empty this time of year. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. Great stay. Would come back here any time. - MissMyGolden

Arrived late (office closes at 6 PM). After hours instructions were not clear so called contact number listed, since it ad been closed only minutes. Got no answer . Set up, facilities were functional could not see very much since it was somewhat dark. Around 3 AM jet planes started taking off and landing one after another. We started next day travel by 5 AM since could not sleep. Location is close to Memphis TN (Fedex Hub) Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep past 3 AM (4 AM after daylight savings time). - Volunteer Rambler
Jun 2017 - $38.00
I loved this park. While not a resort, it excels in every aspect. Front office, reservation, friendliness, asphalt roadways, concrete pads, utilities, HUGE fenced dog run, virtually every aspect. Every RV park operator should visit and copy how this is laid out, run and copy it. We used to stay at a RV park on the river by I-40/55 but had to change due to their facility problems. We traveled 20 minutes further to this park and on the way back stayed there again. This is now my stop over point form Texas. Great steak restaurant about a mile, large RV repair/sales facility near by. One of the few parks where I can't think of something I would change. It is that good. - Zoey and Reba

Very expensive for what is there- no pool, mostly permanent camper trailers, evidently it is on the flight path to Memphis airport - from 4:00am to 7:00am continually landing flights every 4-5 minutes ! - User2272

We stayed 2 nights in our 40' motorhome & tow car; our site was a back in; just enough room to angle in the tow car. Roads & sites are blacktop, both are very narrow. Sewer & electric were conveniently located; water is shared with neighbor & requires a lengthy hose. Our site 284 backed up to the lake. Didn't utilize their bathrooms. Ample space between sites and mature oak trees provide a canopy. - AT Jersey
Oct 2017 - $18.00
We stayed in site #69. It was fairly level, but narrow. There was no sewer on this loop, but there are some sites with sewer. Water and electricity was close. Be aware that some sites here share a water connection and you will need a second water hose. Bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained. The majority of the sites have the picnic table on the other side from the door. The table outside your door might be the adjoining site! There are no fire rings, but you are allowed to build fire on the ground. - 97wing

Nice park on the lake, a lot of great sites, we parked in a 45ft Motor home, it was tight but we made it work and were welcomed by the park ranger. We only stayed one night while visiting Ole Miss, but if in the area again would stay here again. - Martin404

We stayed here for 8 nights, beautiful park, it’s quite. There are full hook ups on many of the sites; they are working on getting FHU on all the sites. When we arrived, it was the Monday of Columbus weekend so the parks was still pretty full. There were sites with full hook ups available but we opted for a site with no sewer and used the bathrooms for showers. The site was plenty long enough for both our coach and truck. The site has a bbq with a small table next to it. A cement picnic table and fire ring. The site is huge! We picked this site even though nicer sites were available because we could use our satellite dish which is mounted on the roof. There are a lot of mature trees lots of shade and almost all sites can see the lake. There are plenty of boat docks, some people had one or 2 boats parked on there sites. Boat ramp right next door between the 2 parks. No washers or dryers here. - Juju5645
