We had a wonderful time. The trails are great and the hosts go out of their way to help and are super nice. If you are into trail riding and camping this is a must do place to go. The Camp is well run and very family friendly. The trails are easy to moderate depending on which ones you take. There is natural water available throughout the ride. Big rigs have no problem getting in and out. The only reason I didn't give them a ten is because some of the sites need to be leveled up. We definitely plan on going back. - Richard and Andie

Talk about personality, Stinkin' Jim's takes the cake. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was New Years, and they had great parties to which we were invited.
We did not see bathrooms or showers, our campsite was anything but level, just a post with water and electric on grass/dirt. The were lots of rv's and horse trailers, maybe their campsites were better...If you like to pet horses and feed them carrots, this is the place for you. - Vic and Marsha

The full and proper name for this park is "Stinkin' Jim's Horse Camp." Check out their website. It'll explain it all. This camp fast becoming a favorite stop over for RVers traveling the Natchez Trace Parkway. The camp is only a couple miles off the parkway and easily driven to in any size rig-our neighbors were in a 40' motorhome and mentioned that they had no problems driving the county roads to the camp. If you want to be deafened by the sound of silence in the woods, and if you want to be awakened by roosters at 6 in the morning than this is the place for you. Wildlife abounds here!!! In 6 years of RVing, this has become our favorite campground! Check it out!! - DANANDHISBETTERHALFJUDY

We enjoyed our stay here. The voltage at our site (#14) was a bit low, but our autoformer took care of that. Water pressure was good and the camp host was very nice. Our site was pretty shaded, but our portable satellite could see the sky. Site 14 has one of the nicest, if not THE nicest, patios in the park. Our Verizon signal was a bit wonky, and we used a booster to help with that. 30 min drive to Tupelo, but there are grocery stores and restaurants closer by in Houlka and Houston. We would definitely stay here again. - henny38

This Park is easy to get to either from Route 15 or The Natchez Trace. We came in from the Trace and the road was a typical rural road. The entrance to the Park is marked so you can't miss the turn in. The roads within the park are easy to navigate, paved and in good condition, and there are no overhanging trees. The Park appears well taken care of and it is well groomed. One big negative for us was the fact that our site was full of cigarette butts. This kept me from giving it a 9 or higher. Our site was paved, level, and all utilities convenient to the wet bay. Since we were right on the lake if we came back here and stayed longer we would pull straight in and run the water hose and electric under the coach. There were no bugs that we had to worry about. Our site had some shade. We had a good Verizon cell phone signal and our Verizon MiFi had good reception. We were able to get a clear view of the southern sky for our DISH antenna. We would stay here again. - William T

The grass was really tall and the camp host unfriendly! - Loyd
