Arrived with reservations to find that my site was occupied but vacant. I think this is the first time this has happened to me at a COE facility. Contacted the campground host who said to take any unoccupied site as that was what everybody does. Okay, found a site that I liked and there was no problem. It is a very nice COE campground in a wooded area. The bath houses were exceptionally clean. I had some OTA TV stations and my T-Mobile signal worked. I would go back again. - Lance 47
Sep 2019 - $22.00
Great park for our weekend stay. Beautiful sunsets over the water. Site was great and level. Only down side was no sewer connections. - Mhallman9903
Sep 2019 - $12.00
Excellent park. The person at check in was friendly and helpful. Lots of sites to choose from on this early September weekday. Site was level with a pretty view of lake. No sewer, but water and 50 amp electric in good repair. Easy roads to navigate for our 33 foot motorhome and our rig would have fit on 80% of the sites. Nice breeze too. 2 bar Verizon signal. - rudyhehn
Oct 2019 - $25.00
Only a small number of RV sites, but they are all seem to be full-hookups. We were traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway and stopped here for just one night - it's about 10 miles or so off the Trace through downtown Tupelo. The road to the park was a bit steep in a few spots and very windy. The park has a couple nice lakes, though the water level was a bit low. - liz&denis

Tombigbee was a very pleasant surprise. While travelling through the area, we saw that this state park was along our route. We were unable to make same-day reservations online. All of the sites were marked as walk-up only. We called the office to inquire about availability. We were told that they had "lots of" spaces available and that they should have a spot when we arrived. The park is about 5 miles off the interstate, so it's close enough and far enough away. The park is beautiful - on a lake, wooded, with hiking trails - everything we like. As it turned out, it's also very small. There are only 15 campsites for RVs. During our Wednesday overnight, only about a third of those were occupied. Quiet, secluded, and uncrowded - all for an inexpensive rate. - KevinGY
May 2018 - $16.00
Beautiful state Park. In the RV loop the sites are closer together than most of the Mississippi State Parks we have been in but still much more spacious than most private parks. The loop through the RV campground is really tight and would have been almost impossible with our 40 foot motorhome with cars that were parked into the road. We backed into site 20 and did not need to drive around the loop. Might be a good idea to check out before trying to navigate in a large RV. We had picnic table, fire pit, grill and full hook ups. DO NOT take RD 1050 even if the GPS directs. There is a no truck sign there for a reason. It is the back way in. Stay on Main St until State Park Rd. Ok with car, not so much with RV. - NanciRV
Oct 2019 - $40.00
Stopped over for one night and this was such a refreshing stop! The office was so cute and bird feeders all over the campground. Interior roads are a bit tight but doable. Our site was level althought pretty narrow. Would definitely stay here again and possibly for longer to visit the sights in the area. - Honey-Poppy
Aug 2019 - $40.00
This is a small park, sites are terraced on a hillside. Interior roads are paved, fairly narrow but manageable. Must disconnect your toad at the entrance before going to your site. Staff was pleasant and the park was kept clean. Utilities were fine. - expdek570
Aug 2019 - $39.00
Very nice basic park. Beautiful setting and quiet. We stayed here overnight twice on our way to Gulf Shores and back. Our site was more like a driveway, no picnic table or fire ring. I’m assuming since they knew we were just overnighting we didn’t get a site with more amenities. No problem for us. Easy after hours check-in. Nice small bath houses. I had problems with the WiFi on the 1st night but it worked well on the 2nd night on our way home. Nice pet area we saw but didn’t use. - BigChris618
Nov 2015 - $15.00
We stopped her a couple nights on our way through the area. Quiet place. Everyone we met was friendly. This is a marina that also has 4 full-hookup RV sites added. We stayed here in a 40' motor home. Sites do not have numbers. We were in the site on the South side of the bath house. - jprisbe
Jul 2019 - $12.00
Just when you think you have already seen the best COE campground, you find another great one. We got a call later on Thursday afternoon, asking if we would like to come early. We were five hours away so had to wait until our scheduled Friday date. When we checked in, I mentioned the call and that we were actually booked on a second site for Saturday and Sunday due to the busy weekend. The staff immediately searched for a different site so that we would not have to move and came up with one. All sites are shady and yet the trees don't interfere with setting up your RV. Lots of activities for the kids and a concert Saturday night. Many people had boats and there was a nice swimming beach as well. - John Fox
May 2019 - $12.00
COE campground right on the water. Hilly campground but level sites. Sites are shaded and not on top of each other. Roped off area to swim in. Easy to launch kayaks. Very friendly staff that want to please. Busy on weekends of course but weekdays are great. - gasolinebutt
Apr 2019 - $12.00
Great COE campground. We stayed in the first loop on the left, which was quieter than the other two loops. Easy to navigate, great staff, site was huge. We liked it so much we extended our stay from 3 nights to 6. - DaveAndJoyce
Oct 2019 - $50.00
This is a new RV park adjacent to the Girard awning factory in Red Bay. Thus, it is really the only place to stay in town if you’re having service done on your awnings.
They build themselves as a “resort“ however the amenities are somewhat lacking; they have a very nice dog park, a pickle ball court, a pond that is stocked with fish, and a very nice looking restaurant that will not open until the first part of November 2019.
When complete, this will probably be the nicest RV park in Red Bay. However, in our opinion they are way overpriced for the amenities offered and location.
Cell service is very poor - both Verizon and AT&T - so if you rely on these carriers for your cell and Internet service be prepared to be very disappointed. The best throughput we could achieve was 1.1 MBs with a top-of-the-line cell & WiFi boosters.
The park offers weekly and monthly rates and has six “deluxe premium“ sites for $10 more per night. The only amenities these sites provide is a small patio and fire ring.
A 5% discount is given to FMCA and Tiffin motorhome owners club members. - BamaBob
Oct 2019 - $50.00
This is a new RV park still partially under construction. In addition to the general store / office there is a restaurant under construction. When completed there will be approximately 60 sites, with a small pond/lake in the middle. All sites are backin, level concrete pads with a picnic table. - lllkrob
Sep 2019 - $18.00
This another campground to stay in other than the Tiffin campground when getting your motor home service. The Tiffin campground can not handle the amount of motor home wanting service. Numerous campgrounds that sprung up in the Red Bay area to handle the overflow. This campground is great for it's intended purpose. The sites are level, good power, good water pressure. The campground is just a large gravel parking lot for those awaiting service. The campground is much cleaner and utilities are better than the Tiffin campground. Tou can wash both your motor home and tow vehicle here. Sites are wide enough to park you tow vehicle next to your motor home. The only discount I am aware of is the pay for 5 nights and get the 6th and 7th night free. The weekly cost is $125 for 7 nights or $25 per night. - ETB
Jul 2019 - $25.00
Easy clean gravel RV Park for those going to Tiffin to have work done or to visit the area. Much cleaner than Allegro Campground with good electric, water, and sewer. Plenty of room to hook up or unhook your toad. A nice grassy perimeter to walk you dog if you have one. No shade, but on the bright side, easy satellite access. We will stay here in the future when we are going to Tiffin. - The Gunny
Feb 2019 - $25.00
This is a self service RV Park on the edge of town. Red Bay is where Tiffin motor homes are built. The only reason to go to Red Bay is to tour the factory or to get your Tiffin motor home worked on. With our Fleetwood Bounder, we felt like a Vespa scooter at a Harley Davidson rally. The RV park is not a park, it is a level gravel parking lot with hook ups. There is no landscaping, office, facilities, or people on site. All the sites are long pull throughs, fairly wide, on level gravel. There is plenty of room to park a tow vehicle. The park was obviously designed and built for for class A motor home short term use. All the utilities worked well and are convenient. The owner stopped by was friendly and expressed his appreciation for staying at his park. This park is good at what is it designed for. Stay a few days or several to get your Tiffin worked on or serviced. There are 3 or 4 more similar RV parks in Red Bay. It is all that is available. It worked good enough for one night or a few more. Reservations are not required. We would stay there again, when we get our dream Tiffin motor home. Rated as average. - Pacatrader
Oct 2019 - $20.00
Rate reflects the weekly rate. Nothing special, but perfect for getting service at the Tiffin plant. The park is FHU and has good electric, but the water pressure is poor. No other amenities. Satellite service is real iffy, way too many trees, so if you need TV suggest you try somewhere else to stay. - simonsrf
Aug 2019 - $25.00
When in Red Bay for Tiffin Service this is the best place to stay. Concrete, shade trees, plenty of room, areas to walk the dogs, and convenient to downtown. Water pressure was a little low but good water. Only a few of the sites are suitable for satellite (sites 1,3,4,10). Verizon and AT&T reception is excellent. - glenthompson
Jul 2018 - $25.00
Downtown is, as the signs clearly tell you, a self-service park. You pay (cash or check only) via a drop box at one end of the park. Trash is at the other end of the park. All sites are backin, but there is a good bit of room between sites so it doesn't feel cramped. All of the hookups are at the rear of the site. Depending on your set up, you might need an extension for your sewer hose (we did). My conversations with the owners were very pleasant. This place really is right downtown Red Bay. Though this is little more than just a slab of concrete, it is only about a 10 minute walk from the Tiffin front gate. That is the real selling point. If you are going to do business with, or just want to visit, Tiffin, this is a great place to park. - MFTDoc
Aug 2019 - $25.00
This park is right beside the Tiffin Service Center. It is for people getting work done. It has no amenities, but It does have level pull through spots, easy hook ups for power sewage and water. It is very quiet at night. The owner is outstanding. - fpresto
Jul 2019 - $25.00
*NEW* 10 pull-through sites with a gravel base....can create some dust when dry. While it's *mostly* level, we found the nose of the coach elevated as compared to the rear, making the "first step" a bit awkward. Pedestal is conveniently located with water, sewer and 30/50 amp service available. Toad parking is "OK", but can be a bit tight depending on how you parked your coach. The campground is still new. The owner stated that he is wanting to expand the number of sites and add a common "gathering" area. - rdalemercer
Mar 2019 - $25.00
Nice wide back-in spots. Sites are wider than most around Red Bay. Just across from Tiffin Service Center. Very quiet area. Owner is super nice! - gsoilea1
Mar 2019 - $25.00
Ditto comments of Debbie T. from Sep 2018. Gravel lot directly across the street from Tiffen service bays. I'm sure that's why they are here. All back-in sites. Good full hook-ups. Some over-the-air TV channels, but this is in the boonies. No services other than hook-ups. Had to fill water tank as temp was to be below freezing for a couple of nights and all water turned off. Not much to do in Red Bay other than the Tiffen plant tour. - Ribbet
Sep 2018 - $25.00
Large gravel lot with all backin spots. Level, no puddles, grass closeby for critters. Self-service, drop payment in slot. $25 per night, $150 per week, $475 per month. Full hookup with wide sites. Directly across the street from the Allegro Club. - DebbieT in Alabama
