Camp Host were great but pool and pond was green - we had a very hard time trying to level our fifth wheel on the gravel. Camp Host said it was their most level spot but we never got it fully level. A lot of trash down the hill from us - old mattress and garbage etc. and lots of ants. Would not stay here again. - Fun chasers

Probably the nicest CG managers I've ever encountered and extremely easy to get to from the Interstate. The interior roads are narrow in some places but not a problem. Pad was concrete but a lot of earth over the top of it (rained heavily the night before). Peacefull with adequate shade but you could hear the trucks on I-59. Free fishing pond, playground for the kids. Lot of hills not good for bicycling. I used this CG several times as it's near the halfway point between my work in Louisiana and my home in Alabama. It's a good place to stay for a night while traveling. I don't think I'd stay any longer unless I had business in Laurel or was holed up due weather. Drawbacks - Highway noise which has increased since it's where the speed limit changes from 70 to 55 and the trucks love to hear the jake brake roar, fortunatly there is not a lot of traffic on I-59. The only other consideration is they allow full time residents and a couple of them had less than desirable rigs. - WPB

Nice spot to stay and get caught up on laundry and grocery shopping. The plus is it’s the home of Our Home Town from HGTV (the reason we stopped). Upon our arrival we were given the MS official tour guide with an article about Erin and Ben the stars of Our Home Town. Great place to stop felt like we were in a park in Wisconsin beautiful. Even tho it rained most of the time we were here we made the best of it. - pam.4him

Stayed two nights. Park needs some updating. Pool was green. Site was gravel. Everything worked well. Second day woke up to ants everywhere in RV and tow vehicle. Had to spray. Still have occasional ants over a week later. Owner was a very nice gentleman and was helpful. Didn't tell him about ants as we left very early on departure. - Rvontheroad

I can't say enough about the good people at this park. I injured my shoulder and couldn't drive for 30 days. The manager and his maintenance worker helped me with everything I needed to do -- hooking up/unhooking my car, connecting utilities, bringing UPS packages to me so I didn't have to walk to the office to get them.
Besides being an excellent, well-maintained park, the folks who run it are super. I will definitely stay here again when passing thru the area. - gfs1943

Mar 2015 - $10.00
Being full time RVers, with an HDT & 38 foot RV and changing areas every month or two for work, it is important to find a site that obviously fits us, is pet friendly, and somewhat quiet. There is some road and train noise but quite tolerable. There is a fishing pond-not for swimming. The few full timers there are friendly and helpful. The owner is friendly, helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay a wonderful one. A simple clean and honest park which is way more important than a lot of extras. There is free WiFi and cable. I felt comfortable and safe staying alone during the day when my husband was working. - witchey1
May 2014 - $23.00
We stayed here early May just after it opened. The bathrooms were not done yet. At the time it would make a good overnight stop. Had to drive about 5 miles off the interstate to get to it, however. The owners were very friendly. Let us use a box for cable. Water pressure was high--use a pressure regulator. Place will need some work to finish but owner has hopes. - browne07

Great park for overnight stay on trip from Tennessee to NOLA. Don't judge a book by its cover with this one, nothing fancy but gets the job done and fit our 43' RV nicely. Bathrooms and laundry facilities are being built. Great grassy areas for dogs. Owner is the nicest and most helpful we have ever encountered. Helped us set up and gave our daughter some Go Fish playing cards. - 3Peeps4Dogs5thWheel

Dec 2018 - $21.00
Despite having "water park" in its name, this is not a commercial park. It is operated by a Mississippi water authority governmental agency. Beautiful tall pines fill the campground and surround a nice, clean lake. We visited in the off-season, but certainly this is a destination for water recreation in the warm months. The park is conveniently located about 10 minutes from Laurel. Sites are spacious, shady, and convenient to the water. Facilities and grounds were very well kept. We had full LTE cell service (AT&T). This is a great spot for a sleep-and-go or as a longer getaway. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed one night in site #39, a pull thru site with full hook ups. - texasAUtiger
Nov 2018 - $22.00
We stayed just one night in a 40 foot fifth wheel. We don't typically rate overnight stops but this one is special. This is one of eight water parks that are part of the Pat Harrison Waterway System. The sites were full hookup, 50 amp, large level sites, in a great location with a great view. We were here in the fall and the weather was cold with a significant freeze coming. The park was nearly deserted but it looks like the kind of place that would be hopping during the summer time. The park is very well maintained and simply beautiful. I would definitely stay here longer if plans allowed. Sorry but too cold and rainy for photos. You might prefer a back-in site as they too had plenty of room. The pull thru sites in this loop had patios that faced the road which I am not at all fond of. - Moe and Flo are on the go
Apr 2018 - $22.00
Roads paved a bit tight in a few places. Sites: paved with 20/30/50 amp power, water and sewer. Mostly level but maybe at extremes of leveling system. Note on sewer - pay attention to location of sewer when positioning your rig. I had to use 2 hoses and back up 15' to reach the connection. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Showers had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Verizon phone and Mifi worked fine. No CG wifi. Host helpful and friendly. Reservations are made by phone only. It has a nice little lake for paddling around in and allows water skiing and jet skies. Nice quiet park with good facilities. We'd stay here again. - pumper9x9
