Well, this is more a place to park your RV and enjoy learning about "Delta blues music and food" than a recreational campsite. Just at the edge of town (Indianola) and next to the incredible BB King museum, Willie's proved to be a great spot to explore much of the Delta. New water, sewer and electric hookups on level concrete pads. No restroom/shower/communication facilities - but your RV has those. You are "camped" close to some really great restaurants (all within walking distance), a great little supermarket, and much more - so this is a definite recommendation to tour lots of nearby Delta towns. We had a great time here with some other camping friends; stayed 5 nights and the dogs loved it too! - AI Joe

As others have said, this is almost the only place to stay overnight that you don't have to unhook if you want to visit the BB King Museum. We were the only ones there when we stayed and the weather had been very cold the previous week. So we arrived without reservations to find . . . a concrete foundation with very new hookups, no restroom or showers, the water turned off, and no one in sight. We called the owner and he said to pick any site and where to turn on the water. He said he would come by after the NFL playoff game ended and get our $25. So, I turned on the water at the meter near the street, hooked up the FHU utilities (at the back of each site), found the local OTA NFL broadcast station, and settled down to watch the game. However, the owner was so concerned that we might not be able to turn the water on that he came at halftime to make sure it was on and get our check. I told him the water was on, then invited him in so that he wouldn't miss even a few minutes of the game, but he wanted to get back to his big screen TV. Great place, great owner, great concept for a park (wish more high-traffic tourist sites had RV parks within walking distance like this!). We would definitely stay here again if there were ever any reason to go back to Indianola (there won't be!). - fanrgs

If you are looking for a Campground and a camping experience, this is not the place for you. It's a concrete pad that used to be the floor of a building, where electrical, sewer and water hookups have been added. There isn't a playground for kids. And, when you call to reserve a spot, the person taking our reservation was very upfront about these facts, which I appreciated. The ownership was very friendly and welcoming. But if you're looking for a 1-2 night stopover with some things to see and do in the Delta, or if you are taking a tour of the Blues/history of the Delta and need a spot to put the RV, this is centrally located to many attractions.
Sites are level, hookups are new, and there are two very good restaurants in walking distance. The BB King Museum is within 5 minutes walking distance. You won't get many local TV channels, but there is nothing to block satellite reception. Wi-Fi is very spotty. We used our time here to visit Clarksdale, several museums, and learn about the history of the blues. Vicksburg is an easy drive. We also sampled Delta tamales and other great food in the area. It's not a spot to spend a weekend "camping," but it's a good place to stage to see the rest of the area. - Buckeyefan4

We arrived early in the evening after a long day of driving to avoid a powerful line of thunderstorms. The office was closed but we were able to contact the manager and owner by phone. The RV park was full but we were graciously given the option to stay in the adjoining parking lot. The owner met us in the parking lot and made sure we had everything we needed to dry camp, including a free bag of ice which came from his personal office's ice-maker. We highly recommend this park for its cleanliness, hospitality and wonderful southern charm. Thank you for your kindness! - romstead

Where do I begin? We were trying to get home to central Florida after getting stuck in San Antonio by Hurricane Harvey. We were looking for something in the Greenville, MS area that was near a highway, and at least a half way decent park. There are several State parks that had excellent ratings, but too far off the path or in the wrong direction for us. I called up this Park because their website does mention that they have Rv sites along with mobile homes. Since Florida is snowbird country, we have quite a few of those types of parks, so we kind of went there with a preconceived notion of what to expect. Boy, were we wrong! First, I would have to go count, but I don't think there are 15 sites in here, and even if there were, only two of them were available. I would say at least 75 percent of them are filled with long term renters. The RV parking is a row of back in sites on a dead end Street behind the office. I think the only reason the site we chose was available was because others could not maneuver around the electric pole that was at the edge of the "Road", kitty corner from the site. I think the office person lied to me about bathrooms being available because we couldn't locate any. The asphalt in the other available was all torn up and crumbling, so that left us with the site we chose. It was paved but not very well. - Maga04
Apr 2011 - $13.00
This is just a parking lot with water and electric hookups. They do have 50 amp and water pressure is good. The sites are paved and level. It was adequate for our week stay. There are not other parks in the area that we would consider. - zrxh14
Mar 2010 - $13.00
There are numerous back-in sites on pavement with scattered covered picnic tables. Two dump stations are available but there are no sewer hook ups. No frills, but for the price it was a really good deal. Verizon worked well. We would stay again. - BigRigTravelerUSA
