We stopped her a couple nights on our way through the area. Quiet place. Everyone we met was friendly. This is a marina that also has 4 full-hookup RV sites added. We stayed here in a 40' motor home. Sites do not have numbers. We were in the site on the South side of the bath house. - jprisbe

Great park! Great location! Spot for rig was paved and level. Most of the spots are back-in. This time of year only one of the loops was open. There is plenty of room to take off your tow and back your rig in. We came in from the north on John Rankin Highway. It is very winding with no shoulders...just be careful! - Gma Linda
Sep 2018 - $15.00
Quiet, level terrain with some scenic lakeside sites. Most are back in sites with 2 full hook ups. Would not hesitate to return. - Dugster

We stopped for an overnight stay and wished we could have stayed longer! This park is absolutely beautiful and the sites are well sized. Lots of trees, shade and beauty abounds. Loved it and highly recommend it. We hope to return for a longer visit in the future. - Bax

May 2018 - $16.00
Beautiful state Park. In the RV loop the sites are closer together than most of the Mississippi State Parks we have been in but still much more spacious than most private parks. The loop through the RV campground is really tight and would have been almost impossible with our 40 foot motorhome with cars that were parked into the road. We backed into site 20 and did not need to drive around the loop. Might be a good idea to check out before trying to navigate in a large RV. We had picnic table, fire pit, grill and full hook ups. DO NOT take RD 1050 even if the GPS directs. There is a no truck sign there for a reason. It is the back way in. Stay on Main St until State Park Rd. Ok with car, not so much with RV. - NanciRV
Mar 2018 - $17.00
Small loop for RV sites. They are close together. The rest of the park is beautiful -has great hiking trails and a large lake. Playground area for kids is large. Baseball field is well kept. Tent sites are very nice with seat swing, wood platform, poles for two hammocks and grill. Never seen such nice tent sites! - sp123

Showers in men's room OK, in women's room clean but head is clogged. Park staff will address. There is very very little telephone reception, ATT and no Verizon and even the visitor center/ registration has poor reception. There is no WiFi. Otherwise this CG is wonderful. LOTS of hiking-2 disc golf courses reputed to be best in the area, Huge lake with fishing, paddling. Small, quiet and the staff is wonderful. Responded right away for our missing spigot handle and did a survey while we were there. They are trying to get WiFi so ask for it to give them numbers. - edc1951

Sep 2018 - $11.00
We picked this park because it was in route to our RV dealer, we had a appointment for warranty work. When we arrived the park was crowded because of Labor Day weekend. The roads are wide and we had no problem getting to our site. Our site had full hookup and a level concrete pad, that was the good. The bad - the trees that dumped tree trash all over the RV and site. Unable to get a satellite signal, only 3 local channels and our T-mobile hot spot was slow to no. Killed three ants in side and decided to spray around the outside. There were numerous large ant hills throughout the park, be careful. Large Horse flies every were, DW doesn't like bugs or flying insects so she stayed inside. Over all we did not like this park. We stayed here for 11 days. Aberdeen, MS is a small town with small mom and pop stores. Walmart is 12 mi away in Armory, MS (dry County) Aberdeen is not. - california3201

Very nice COE campground with asphalt pad and roads. My site was on lake which was nice. - Bjb1775
Mar 2018 - $22.00
Nice wooded park with water views. This campground was very quiet, almost silent at times. Has nice concrete sites, fire rings and table. Ok cell service and some OTA tv channels were received. Very peaceful place. - Kenhwy61

This is a very small park, a short distance from the Natchez Trace Parkway, and about 10 miles from Tupelo. The grounds are nice and very well kept. The owners are extremely friendly, as were all the other campers staying while we were there. As other reviewers have stated, the interior roads are narrow in some areas, but we never had any issues with our 44 foot rig. There are trees in some parts of the park, but we were able to get a good satellite signal with our rooftop dish, even though we were parked under some trees. We never had any problems with the power or water either. We chose not to use their sewer hookup because we were only staying there for two days, and we decided to situate our rig to insure a good satellite signal instead. We did use their dump site as we exited the park. We enjoyed the quiet of the park, the clean grounds, and the friendly atmosphere during our stay. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. - glenstmary
Oct 2018 - $28.00
Small park just off the Trace outside Tupelo about 10 miles. Sites are close together and not very level. Getting sewer and 50 amp power is iffy because only a few of them. Stayed six nights; first few with no sewer and two wheels of rig off the ground. Moved to site with sewer, but door side of rig was on downhill side so step was high off ground. Park is old but well kept. Lots of grass with two moss filled ponds with water birds. - Bojangles
Jul 2018 - $30.00
This state park is located on a large lake about 10 miles west of Tupelo with two camping areas set on adjacent points of land. The larger lake was dry, looks as though it has been for a while. Site spacing is good, level and paved. Due to its remote location, the park is quiet at night. Fifteen over the air TV stations were available but because of trees the roof satellite would not work. AT&T wireless signals had 3 bars of LTE with download speeds of 8 Mbps and uploads of 1.12 Mbps. Roads into and inside the park are extremely rough. - Ruffin It
