We have stayed here rwice. Each time almost 6 weeks. It is a simple park. Full hookups, gravel, quiet, surrounded by trees and is very close to town. This park is perfect for us and the owner is great. I would highly recommend calling for reservations. - Joe Harris
Sep 2014 - $75.00
This is not a traditional campground, it is an RV lot located within 5 miles of the University of Mississippi off of Hwy 7. There are full hookups on a newly surfaced gravel lot with some tree cover. Plenty of spacing between sites. The owner is very attentive to guests. He meets each guest and assists with hook-up, leveling, etc. My husband could not have been more impressed with the amount of attention we received when we arrived. Prices are reasonable and there isn't another park with full hookups within 20 miles of Oxford. The park is convenient to the Ole Miss Campus and the Square (approximately a 5 minute drive). This is a great place to stay if you're in town for a visit or sporting event. - benn2014
May 2014 - $75.00
This is not an RV park in the normal sense. It is a group of hook-ups that some guy has installed just off the main road through Oxford, MS. He mostly caters to people in town for football games, graduation, etc. There are no amenities other than hook-ups. Traffic noise is constant. Location is very convenient to most of Oxford and the closest "real" RV parks are the scenic Corps of Engineers parks on lakes miles away. There is usually a 3 night minimum but we managed to get a negotiated one-night rate of $75 which is clearly ridiculous (but we paid it). I think the guy charges whatever he can get. The hook-ups work just fine. - virginianola

We have stayed here several times and will stay again. Newly renovated COE park. Concrete pads, tables and fire rings. Located on Sardis Lake with fishing. Boat ramps or lake side fishing. Located eight miles from Oxford across from Abbeville. Turn north off Highway 7. - TomFred

The rate is with senior pass. The park is almost closed down with only 32 of the 62 sites available. All of the restrooms are closed with the exception of the one at the end of the park. We didn't think we would ever get out of Oxford as the main road to the park was closed in town and the detour signs were very small and hard to see. After you get out of Oxford you have 14 miles to the park. The one bathhouse open had no hot water and the Corp personnel would not reset the beaker as the electrician was off on the weekend. Love the Government. Oh yes, forgot to mention all of the other restrooms that were closed had all of their air conditioners running. Don't you just love our tax dollars at work. - glbaker44
May 2007 - $10.00
The campground is located 14 miles Northeast of Oxford on Sardis Lake. When we were there they had just reconditioned the road and there was lots of loose gravel. Several of the power pedestals were in poor repair and our electrical breaker tripped during the night and we were unable to reset it. We had to move to another site the next day. - happytrls

We pulled in late at night, got out of the bus to hook up and sewer drain pipes were laying on the ground, it was gross.. Gravel lot, marked off with cross ties, in a open field behind a paintball course and an auto repair shop. We left as soon as we found another place to park. - Martin404
Oct 2016 - $28.00
This is a new park so at the moment it is like a gravel parking lot--there has been a lot of landscaping but of course all the new trees and shrubs are small--therefore, no shade. Don't be fooled by the photo on their web site--the sites are not grass and trees. The roads inside are easy enough to access but there are no directional markers so it can be a bit confusing. There was no one in the office when I arrived and I was on my own trying to find a spot. No hassle though. The site was level, had full hookups that were easy to access. The wifi is free and outstanding--and I was parked way in the back--not near the office. Only complaint is that the sites are very close together, but not a big deal for a brief stay. I assume because the park is relatively new, my GPS had no clue where it is. It is on Hwy 6 going towards Oxford after Batesville. About eight miles or so down the road (don't quote me) from the interchange is a large billboard sign --keep an eye out--on the right--cannot miss it. For eye appeal I would have grudgingly given this place just an average rating but because the sites are level --and so important for those of us without hydraulic levelers--and the utilities are in great condition--not to mention the great wifi, I am giving it extra points. Good option if you want to visit Oxford. - nanzhere

Oct 2018 - $9.00
We stayed here for 8 nights, beautiful park, it’s quite. There are full hook ups on many of the sites; they are working on getting FHU on all the sites. When we arrived, it was the Monday of Columbus weekend so the parks was still pretty full. There were sites with full hook ups available but we opted for a site with no sewer and used the bathrooms for showers. The site was plenty long enough for both our coach and truck. The site has a bbq with a small table next to it. A cement picnic table and fire ring. The site is huge! We picked this site even though nicer sites were available because we could use our satellite dish which is mounted on the roof. There are a lot of mature trees lots of shade and almost all sites can see the lake. There are plenty of boat docks, some people had one or 2 boats parked on there sites. Boat ramp right next door between the 2 parks. No washers or dryers here. - Juju5645

We stayed 2 nights in our 40' motorhome & tow car; our site was a back in; just enough room to angle in the tow car. Roads & sites are blacktop, both are very narrow. Sewer & electric were conveniently located; water is shared with neighbor & requires a lengthy hose. Our site 284 backed up to the lake. Didn't utilize their bathrooms. Ample space between sites and mature oak trees provide a canopy. - AT Jersey
Oct 2017 - $18.00
We stayed in site #69. It was fairly level, but narrow. There was no sewer on this loop, but there are some sites with sewer. Water and electricity was close. Be aware that some sites here share a water connection and you will need a second water hose. Bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained. The majority of the sites have the picnic table on the other side from the door. The table outside your door might be the adjoining site! There are no fire rings, but you are allowed to build fire on the ground. - 97wing

Nice park on the lake, a lot of great sites, we parked in a 45ft Motor home, it was tight but we made it work and were welcomed by the park ranger. We only stayed one night while visiting Ole Miss, but if in the area again would stay here again. - Martin404

Stayed in the older loop at the front of the park. We used levelers and our site seemed one of the flatter sites in that area. Hook ups were fine and it was very quiet night. Check-in staff offered no info or map about the park. They waited for questions to be asked. - sp123
Apr 2017 - $18.00
Beautiful park. I had a reservation with late arrival. The park called me before closing to tell me that the site I had reserved was surrounded by a group of search and rescue people doing a weekend exercise. They told me that unless I just really wanted that particular site, I was welcome to choose another spot that was not reserved. There were plenty available and it was very nice that they called. I spent the first night in site 19 but the next day I moved to site 20. Much nicer with no one on the 'passenger' side of the camper. Great view of the woods. Quiet setting. - DD Jones
Apr 2017 - $17.00
This was one of the most pleasant park experiences we have had anywhere. The campsites were spread apart nicely with lots of trees and vegetation between them so you definitely had a feeling of privacy. The bathhouse was a good little walk from our site, but was easily doable. The lake was beautiful as well as the old buildings that harken back to yesteryear. The campsite itself was level and the electricity and water worked well. Once again, this was probably our favorite campground we have been to due to the privacy and vegetation factor - Marciekaputnik
