Oct 2019 - $53.00
We only stayed one night. The park was full. Lots of trees. Nice location - Birdhouse
Oct 2019 - $58.00
Remember the movie, "Trains, planes and automobiles"? Well, that's this camp ground. There are the well documented trains (we had only 1-2 each night we were there), an airport so close, the overhead planes have their landing gear down and of course, Rt 40. We really liked the "comfy" feel of the park with all the trees and the huge open field on one side of the park. Granted, the roads are tight and the gravel not so great but that wasn't an issue for us. - Dennison
Sep 2019 - $40.00
We stayed 4 nights. It's a typical KOA. Not terrible, not great. Could be so much better if the owners put some money and effort into it. Gravel sites, of course. But in need of new gravel, edging and leveling. Plenty of trees. Everything worked. Does fine in a pinch. Typical KOA, not one of the special ones and not one of the horrible ones either. - Creativepart

Most sites are extended stay. Sites are not level. People park their car and boats everywhere so it is difficult to maneuver. Sites very close together. Only a few spots have a view of the water. Had to find the site ourselves. I had printed a map of the campgrounds that I used, they did not give me one. WIFI worked well from out campsite but we were right by it. Other people drove over to it to use wifi. - Modela2007
Sep 2010 - $20.00
We don't have a boat so it just wasn't for us. The sites are really narrow and not level. It is difficult to maneuver around the roads. The swimming area has a very soft bottom. About 6 inches of silt. Not very nice at all. Not a level area to play games with the kids. If you are looking for a campground that is more family friendly I would suggest Crab Tree Cove. If you are looking for place to park the camper and spend the day on the boat then this might be the place for you. - Iluvcamp

Small campground, in the backyard of the house/office - CorgiGirl
Sep 2019 - $45.00
Owners were terrific after leaving a park miles away that was awful. She met us as soon as we pulled in and led us to our site in the dark. Small park but we were very happy with our stay - Diana Wittkopp
Jul 2019 - $50.00
This is a small, quiet, rural campground. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. There is an enormous field with the perimeter mowed, which is great for dog walking. The complaint I have was the price, which I thought was high for what was provided. - Dapper

May 2019 - $10.00
This COE campground is located on Stockton Lake in southwest Missouri. Our site was a pull-thru. Due to the massive spring rains the end of the loop road was under water, so we were fortunate to be able to get into and out of our site, although leaving was a challenge because of our size. It would have been easier if the road had been open. Except for the closure, the roads inside the campground were in good condition. Loop B had a bath house with showers and several pit toilets scattered about, and there was another shower/bath house across from the dump near the entrance. There are a few shared water spigots scattered about. Sites have 30-amp, some have no electric hookup. Verizon non-existent, AT&T marginal. Got all the OTA TV channels from Springfield. Lake level was 9-10 feet higher than full, so a LOT of the lakeside campsites were under water. The lake itself was clean. It was windy while we were there, so paddle boarding was challenging. There's a sheltered spot between loops A and B that was ok for paddling. Beautiful, quiet location, lots of birds, and someone was getting ready for their wedding the day we left. It was nice, we would go back if it were convenient. There's a lot of driving on smaller paved two-lane roads with no shoulder around this lake, but it's worth the effort if you like rustic beauty. - Denise and Glenn
Apr 2010 - $8.00
This is a COE campground on Stockton Lake. Streets are asphalt; sites are gravel, some level, others not very level. There are about 10 electric sites that back up to the lake. Most of the other sites have a view of the lake. There are about 28 sites with electricity, the rest are for dry camping. This park is about 6 miles north of Greenfield, MO, just off Highway H. The $8 rate is using the Senior Pass, otherwise it is $16 - Travelin Rose

Pleasant find. No frills here but an exceptionally clean campground, spacious and with the nicest bathhouse. Showers/Rest Rooms and Laundry were all new, heated and very nice. Off season and the campground was not full but campers were spaced out nicely. Good wifi. Will definitely stay here again. - DRNiven
May 2019 - $27.00
This year, we stayed at Red Cedar for 5 weeks. $150/wk; $400/month FHU. RV washing even allowed. Large grassy areas between level, well graveled, very long & wide sites. Very few trees, although many young ones have been planted. Two laundry rooms. Large dog park. Although several long term residents in back- in sites, these are kept nice and clean. Owner lives on site and takes excellent care of the grounds. - wheelen jv
Sep 2018 - $28.00
We stayed 2 nights. Campground was very clean and well groomed. Large pull thru sites. Our 5th wheel is 43 feet long, and had truck and additional car. Plenty for all. Lot of grass at each site. Nice dog park. - Fulltime-2015

Nov 2019 - $36.00
Where they put us was in a parking lot setting it was 2 back ins that they let us use as a pull though that was good of them, there is street lights over the camper making it seem like its daylight all night. its a little hard to find but easy after you get in a lot of speed bumps. We would stay there again and it was close to wife's brother-in-law. - LannyH
Aug 2019 - $36.00
The staff at this park Is very friendly and extremely helpful. The park is very quiet, space 502 has great shade. I love the location with lots of restaurants to choose from very close by. It is a older mobile home park but the homes are in nice shape, I felt very comfortable walking around the shady streets. - AZ Jeanne
May 2017 - $36.00
First Impression: While most mobile home parks tend to be seedy and run-down, this park is aged but rather clean. Safety: no concerns - peaceful. Access: Follow GPS and you'll get lost. Take the South Glenstone exit off US-60 and go northwest to (east) Peele Street (traffic light with a turn lane). On Peele, turn immediately to the right into the MH/RV park, then left towards the office. Easy to find on your right. Municipal roads are in good condition. This part of Springfield is a high traffic, business district. Office: Friendly staff but this is the mobile home office, not an RV park office or store. Facilities: This is a mobile home community and has no campground amenities but does have storm shelters. Campground: Roads are wide, asphalt with roomy turns, lots of trees but no overhead issues. Speed bumps. RV sites are isolated to the back of the facility which are a mix of pull-through and back-in (depends on rig length), no tent area, yurts, or cabins. Electrical pedestals at rear of site with FHU-20/30/50. Sites are nearby but roomy, clean, with packed gravel in good condition, no landscaping, level. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, at ground level. No patio, no picnic tables. Open fires not permitted. Good water pressure and taste. No propane sales. Good satellite views. No cable TV. OTA TV found 28 channels. Free Wi-Fi (Tengonet) with excellent coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone at 5-bars; 4G at 5-bars. No railroad or aircraft noise but minor, local traffic sounds. No recycle bins. Bug Report: Small black ants came in from my water hose; pre-treat is recommended. Runners: CG roads good for running, no fitness room so no treadmills. Yoga: Gravel is small and packed. Should be acceptable for your mat or use the road which has rare traffic. Conclusion: We will return if in the area. Recommended. - StephenK

Oct 2013 - $20.00
We have stayed here twice simply because of the location which is in very close proximity to main highways. We will not return to this park again. On both stays (June & October) we were very disappointed. There are many permanent sites towards the back. The temporary sites towards front are pretty sad - lumpy, bumpy ground with weeds instead of grass & cracked cement patios. It is close to shopping. - KPsunshine
Aug 2013 - $60.00
This place was a dump! Lots of mobile homes. Permanent unsavory dwellers living in their trailers & mobile homes. The desk clerk double charged us & disappeared when we came back next morning for a refund. No bathrooms available, no showers. Couldn't wait to leave. - Sweet C
Oct 2012 - $40.00
Nice owner. Was very helpful to get us settled. Very good (free) Wi-Fi, but that is it. Next to the freeway with lots of noise. Everything is run down with bad internal roads and cracked pavement on the sites. We stayed here with PPA. We will not come back. - Traveller Excel

May 2016 - $10.00
This is a very nice COE park on Stockton Lake. It could be even nicer with some cleanup, but it still rates a very positive review. The lake is a "minimum development" COE project, so not many houses visible, just beautiful wooded shoreline. Most of the sites are either right on the water or with water views. A few are in the wooded section. During the week, the park was not busy; however, it is a different matter on the weekends with a full campground and lots of kids and bikes. It calmed down at night, so no problem from late-night activities. It seems to be a very family-oriented park. For the weekend, reservations are definitely advisable. We stayed as we were passing through on Interstate 49. It was harder to get to from 49 than we expected. Do expect to be driving on some pretty small country roads. Do not just blindly follow your GPS as it will take you on some really bad roads. The route through Stockton is the best bet. There is not water at the sites, so fill at the dump station. We had strong 30 amp service. We had good Verizon voice and data. Satellite was not a problem from our site. The sites are paved and most seem to be fairly level. The only restroom in the B loop is a vault toilet. The flush toilets are a ways away near the campground attendant. We would certainly stay here again. - TheJim
Apr 2012 - $9.00
Our family loves this park. The host family is new this year but seem very nice. The park is beautiful and sites are right on Lake Stockton. The sites are paved and level. - Iluvcamp
Jun 2011 - $16.00
I love this campground. The folks that run it for the CORP are very nice. The sites are literally on the lake. My trailer was 15 feet from beautiful Stockton Lake. Quiet and peaceful. The kids went swimming and bike riding. The only detraction is the bug population is high, but that has nothing to do the campground. Southwest Missouri just grows them little buggers. - Iluvcamp
