If a campground web site doesn't have pictures to market their campground, there's a good reason! There were mobile homes and sheds/buildings that looked like condemned status around behind the bathrooms, and the bathrooms weren't fit to wash my dog in! I am new to camping, but I know a BAD campground when I see it! And if you ever need a refund, goof luck! We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great location, reason we picked it, but the RV sites were an obstacle course, need 4WD to maneuver the steep roads. There are trees in the way to get in and out of sites. The bathrooms and showers are in need of cleaning, painting, and plumbing repair. We showered in our camper, did not want to put grandkids in those showers. Water pressure was very low. Did not use the pool. We walked to the dock and swam in lake, was fantastic swimming! The docks need some repair but very nice. Lounge chairs are in need of replacement. Pedal boats do not steer (2 out of 3) still had fun. Pedal boats need to be replaced. Boats looked OK, we did not rent one so do not know how they ran. We will look for different campground on next trip, would stay again if don't find one close with access to Tablerock. We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! That is all I can say about this RV park. Beware when a website has no pictures of the RV park they are trying to promote! The brochure actually says it has an "extra clean, modern shower house." What a laugh!! After checking in, we pull into the RV park - if you'd call it that - there are many abandoned trailers here - DO NOT RENT an RV - they look like they've been there since 1960 - VERY rundown. Got hooked up - had a view of the sewer drain I think - rickety old decking - rickety old picnic table - rickety old grill. Doesn't look like the place owns a weed whacker. THE BATHROOMS WERE RIDICULOUS!!! Had not been cleaned in weeks or months - mold growing, bugs galore - toilets didn't flush - no toilet paper. Now I know I'm "camping" in a sense - but when they describe their shower house as extra clean and modern - I'd expect at least decent!! I wouldn't even use the restroom, let alone let my 2 year old use the shower. Just awful!! Then the registration desk tried to tell me - maybe they didn't clean today -ha ha - try didn't clean this past year!! Also couldn't get my deposit back - it was up to accounting's discretion!! Ended up staying across the street at the US Army Corps of Engineers park across the street for the same price - with beautiful sites and wonderful facilities!! We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had very mixed feelings about this park. Our site was unlevel. It was supposed to be a pull through spot, but if you pulled through you had a difficult time clearing a tree, a parked trailer, and the electric hookup box. It took us almost 2 hours to get into this spot. The problem could have been avoided if the lady in the office had told us it was just better to back in. The spots were well shaded, and the facilities that we had access to were very nice. We did not have a view of the lake, nor are the spots on the lake, but you are in easy walking distance of the lake, boat ramps, boat dock, and swimming pool. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. When I called to ask for another spot because ours was horribly unlevel, the lady offered to send maintenance the next day with a dozer and gravel. We were also told there was not another available spot, but watched several sit vacant for the remaining time we were there. Nice and friendly is a positive, but it is also good if the correct information comes with that. When you pull in to register at the main office, there is also a steep hill that the rear end of your trailer will probably drag on. You have to be very careful pulling in. All in all this is not a bad spot, but it could be a lot better. We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park looks like a mobile home court converted to an RV park. The sites are small and sloping so much that we needed several 2x4's and bricks to make our travel trailer sit level, and then it wasn't completely level. It is close to Silver Dollar City and tablerock lake, but you cannot see the lake at all from the campground. There is no grass, just dirt. No fire rings, just an old rickety charcoal grill. You could smell a strong sewer smell often. The campground is part of Indian Point Resorts, and I have not seen the rest of the resort, but wouldn't stay there based on how lousy the campground was. We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
