Oct 2018 - $32.00
Low water pressure, acute turn to enter park. Interior roads are a bit tight but navigatable. End of season and there were ruts in the roads. - hug448844
Jun 2018 - $32.00
The signage is excellent. The site we were in #1 was long but has a large mound in the center of the site. We had to unhook our 40' RV to gain approximate level setup. FHU Gravel roads are narrow and dusty We visited with the camp host, very friendly. Was very convenient to Gas and Groceries. Fun stay but think this park it a little to confident in its pricing. - godoit
Sep 2017 - $30.00
A good place to relax. We stayed 2 nights to catch up on some rest as we traveled across country. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner actually loaned me a longer water hose to use as mine wasn't long enough to reach hookup. Not much to do in the area, but we were only looking to find a clean, quiet spot and this was it. We would stay here again if ever in the area. Site was a little off level, but most gravel sites are. Used a couple of stackable levelers and everything was fine! - GspGator
Jun 2012 - $30.00
Overpriced; no weekly or monthly rates. Side by side narrow sites all gravel and short with no vehicle parking. Park rules NOT enforced. Dogs off leash with owner stand next to campers dog. Glass and dog in pool area. Wi-Fi weak and we were near office. No cable unless you have a DirecTV receiver. Some OTA channels. Not near much, all conveniences food, groceries, diesel fuel 6 miles away. OK for overnight but that's it. - Trikki Rikki
Apr 2010 - $25.00
Very friendly staff provided an abundance of information about the area. Park was nice and is available in off season. Location is not ideal as it was a bit north of the Lake of the Ozarks area. - Vicky
Jul 2018 - $40.00
We stayed here for 3 nights as it was closest location to friends we were visiting at Lake of the Ozarks. If not for the proximity to our friends' lake house, we would not stay here. Sites are extremely tight and close together. Fair to poor interior gravel roads (although, to be fair, we did notice some work being done during our stay, i.e., fresh gravel, skid steer loader moving it around to re-level spaces, etc.) Wifi was iffy. There is some tree cover on some spots so Sat TV could be an issue for you. As previously mentioned, water pressure at hydrant was very low. We used our on-board pump to shower for better pressure. It is a small park, and there are just a few pull-thru sites. The majority of spots are back-in. We could not clear the turn to pull out of our "pull thru" spot, so we had to back out when we left. Unless you need to be in the vicinity of Sunrise Beach/Hurricane Deck, I would guess there are much better choices for RV parks around the lake. - Bruins_in_the_Bus
Jul 2016 - $40.00
One lady runs the park. When you call you will leave her a message. It will take several hours for her to return your call, so make your plans EARLY.
Park roads are gravel/caliche. There are 3 pull thru's and the balance are back in. Mostly trailers at this park, a few small motorhomes. We parked in 43' Diesel and had a difficult time getting in, but finally managed. It rained while we're here and there are several mud puddles around that may create a problem when we leave. It will certainly muddy up the RV which I try to keep clean. Good elevation to the park so other than the mud puddles, the rain went on down to the lake.
Park is close to Captain Ron's' a local hangout/bar, located at MM 34.5 if you're familiar with Lake of the Ozarks. Very nice grocery store (Wood's) just a few miles on up Highway 5. Conveniently located to other entertainment and dining. - TheBigL
Aug 2017 - $70.00
We were very disappointed even before we arrived. The road leading to the park was VERY narrow with several blind curves and some overhanging branches. Fortunately, we did not meet an oncoming RV from the opposite direction! Can't imagine how that would even be manageable! After arriving, our disappointment continued! We were told we'd have a lake view at our site. We did not. Matts or rugs of any kind were against their rules due to them trying to grow grass which there was none! Therefore, our chairs had to be on the dirt or on a minimal area of pavement in front of RV. No TV reception (except for 4 channels, none of which are main network channels and two are cartoon channels) unless you have a satellite dish. Their rules and contract you have to adhere to are beyond ridiculous! They require a minimum of 90 days advance notice for any refund and require you to fax or email them their 3-page contract along with payment before they will agree to reserve you a spot. We were expecting beautiful views and much more for the price! We will do much more research before we ever agree to pay such an outrageous rate. We obviously do not recommend this park! - Pete46

Oct 2016 - $30.00
Recommend this park. Working in area. Owners are the best ever!!! Park is very quite during the week, weekend's are busy during peak season. But no problems. Halloween was very nice, spook trail for the kids, although Wife and I enjoyed too. Hay ride. The owners out do themselves to make an enjoyable stay for everyone. This park is one of the best I have stayed at. Seen a Black Bear in the park during the week. Bear ran back into woods no problem. Picked blackberry's behind RV. Highly recommended park!!! - traveling today
May 2006 - $26.00
The campground had only one good site. All the others faced the highway. If you sat outside, it was like you were watching indy 500 and the sound was continuous. We were unable to walk to the stream because the weeds were knee high. - sdagp
May 2019 - $45.00
This is not a resort or RV park. It is a mobile home park for RVs. They have 5 sites for short stays. There are over 100 RVs packed in the park like sardines and all are permanent and have been here a long time. Grounds are dirty and not maintained. Very poor service. Would not ever stay here again. - travelswithpuppies
