We pulled in on a weekday, so most of the sites were empty. I had a reservation for site #2, but it was too tight for me to get backed into. We moved to site #24 which is just along the road. Worked well for us for just one night. This is a very nice park, the sites are well separated. There are no water connections at the sites, so you will have to fill your tank at one of the faucets located along the road. - SteveCampsTx

Paved roads & sites with 30-amp electric; water & dump available. Quiet, clean park with trees and green space between sites. Sites #2, #3 (handicap), #4, #5, #6, #13, & #15 are long enough for larger rigs, and mostly level. Nice grassy areas and room for dogs and kids. Showers OK, but be prepared to run water a long time before its gets hot. We camped in #6, and will stay here again. - FranM

Quiet, clean State Park, with mostly long, back-in sites, with electric. Some sites have rather narrow paved drives, with nearby shade trees. Others are more open, but are also more level and big-rig friendly (Sites 2 through 6). Plenty of room between sites; plus large mowed, open areas and trails for walking. This is a good park for folks with dogs, but I didn't see much for kids to do around here. We would stay here again. - FranM

The park was perfect for us. We stayed 7 months to be near my Father, age 94, who is living alone nearby. The private lake was well stocked with fish. We swam and fished often. We could have campfires (wood and ring provided). Our dish worked fine. We used our own wi-fi. You could also receive mail. Our Yorkies had a blast chasing squirrels. The owner was very helpful. The only drawback was during hunting season. We would stay there again. - Lilly Bean

The park has narrow dirt/gravel roads with concrete pads on some sites. We found it a bit challenging for a big rig, but doable. There were some low branches and the roads were soft with ruts due to recent heavy rains. There are lake views and a nice lake within walking distance as well as a petting zoo. Satellite reception could be a problem with the abundance of mature trees, but we got a signal off our dome and good reception on our Verizon Internet connection but did not try the WiFi. We would stay again if in the area. - BigRigTravelerUSA
