Agree with other positive reviews. Nicely maintained and quiet. Nice host. Easy access from US-36. We stayed in Site 6 with a 40' MH. Verizon was great. Rate higher because of $8 reservation fee. We were there on a Wednesday and there were plenty of sites avail. - belgique

We pulled in on a weekday, so most of the sites were empty. I had a reservation for site #2, but it was too tight for me to get backed into. We moved to site #24 which is just along the road. Worked well for us for just one night. This is a very nice park, the sites are well separated. There are no water connections at the sites, so you will have to fill your tank at one of the faucets located along the road. - SteveCampsTx

Ok overnight park. Close, more or less level pull-thrus with more or less gravel. Utilities worked fine although sewer hookup at the back, keeping the toad hooked up put it quite a distance away. They do have events on weekends so it may fill up requiring a call ahead to save a spot. - fulltimer121

Overnight stop while traveling through Missouri. Easy access off hwy 36 and approx 1/4 mile south of hwy at edge of Bevier. Campground is an older park and is located on a slope at rear of Shoemaker RV Sales and Repair. The campground is not difficult to enter but on initial visit it can be confusing to find campground entrance especially in the dark. We needed a pull through and got a site which was not totally level but sufficient for our needs right behind the dealership building. We didn't use any of the facilities and cannot comment on them. WiFi was superb (best we have seen in an RV Park). No cable or over air TV. Interior roads could be tight for big rigs - we had no issues but park was nearly empty. We did unhook our towed vehicle due to muddy access road but under dry conditions that may not have been necessary. Our pull through site was long enough for our 43 ft motorhome and towed vehicle. Site was gravel with grass in between sites. Large trees border sites and our site had a picnic table. We would use this park for overnight in future if in the area. - Darrell M

Large RV Park located behind RV sales. Sites (mostly pull-thrus) are mainly level. Fishing pond, multiple long tern and seasonal sites. Sites are paved but pavement is breaking up. Restrooms clean and well-stocked but in need of modernizing. Good for an overnite stay but not for long term stay if you are traveling. Would return. - grandma0942

Sites are large, private and easy to get on. The park is well managed with and an excellent maintenance staff. The Host program is the best. - Pmoyer17

Nice Park. Didn't get to enjoy full benefits because it rained a lot during our visit. There are a lot trees and places to walk. There was no water available in the park due to Winter season. Main restroom at entrance is nice and clean and had soap. Pit toilets sporadically spaced in park. Nice sites for tent campers along water. The camp hosts were very friendly. If you are in need of supplies, Macon is just a few miles away. Don't go to Wal Mart for groceries as it is so small it has minimal food items. C&R Foods is just next door. Firewood is available from a dispenser in the park next to the Coke machine. Nice Stay. - Sugar Pie 1
