We did not camp here, but checked it out while in the area working. Next year, we'll be back with our RV. It was clean, neat and tidy and just a couple miles on the east side of town. Spaces are not heavily treed, but provide enough coverage and room for comfort. We are looking forward to coming back in 2012. - RVingFT

We visited family in Monett for a week and were so pleased to find this park just three miles east of town. All sites are long and level gravel pull thrus. A few trees provide a spot or two of shade, but they don’t interfere with satellite reception. Wi-Fi was strong, dependable and no extra charge. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great spot for an overnight, or longer if you have reason to stay in Monett. We’ll definitely be back. - RockyandBullwinkle

We stayed here one night on our way to Arizona. Very hard to find campgrounds open in the winter, so happy to find Beagle Bay. It was close to the expressway, so I asked for a quiet spot when we checked in. The owner was nice and gave us a pull through at the back. Still heard road noise but didn really bother us til it woke us up around 5:30 am. If it wasn't for the highway noise I would have given it a higher rating. What I really appreciated was the hiking trail at the back of the property. There is a pond and lots of trees, and was a great way to unwind after a long day on the road. Our dog loved it! As others have mentioned, the campground could use some cleaning up, but for a night or two is fine. At $24 a night it was a real bargain. Oh, and the free wifi actually worked great! - fly girl

The bathroom is very old and needs to be upgraded. The bathroom and shower was tidy but it looked dirty. They need to pressure wash the bathrooms and paint. The park is nice, plenty of trees. bench swing at each site. We are 65' and did not have to disconnect. The WIFI was very good. The spots are confusing, you have 1 electrical outlet for each 2 lanes of parking. I didn't realize the other spot is for your towed. - sflabrkr

This is an older park that could use some updating, but the spaces are wide and long for big rigs. They have cleared out a lot of brush and taken down some trees to make the sites easy to get in and out. Many of the sites also have an additional parking space next to your RV site for your toad or extra cars. I believe all are full hookup (for that price is fantastic), everything worked great during our stay. TV is limited to local unless you have satellite, no cable, but they do give you Wi-Fi with your fee, free for each day of your stay. Not the speediest, but it worked fine for our needs. We stayed twice for two days each time on a visit to family in the area. It is great for overnight stays as it is right off I-44, close to a gas station that can handle big rigs towing (Kum&Go). We had no trouble with highway noise during our stays and we were in the second space from the office. Dog friendly and everyone there was pleasant, especially the owner, and kept their long term sites clean. - janebob

Most sites are extended stay. Sites are not level. People park their car and boats everywhere so it is difficult to maneuver. Sites very close together. Only a few spots have a view of the water. Had to find the site ourselves. I had printed a map of the campgrounds that I used, they did not give me one. WIFI worked well from out campsite but we were right by it. Other people drove over to it to use wifi. - Modela2007

We don't have a boat so it just wasn't for us. The sites are really narrow and not level. It is difficult to maneuver around the roads. The swimming area has a very soft bottom. About 6 inches of silt. Not very nice at all. Not a level area to play games with the kids. If you are looking for a campground that is more family friendly I would suggest Crab Tree Cove. If you are looking for place to park the camper and spend the day on the boat then this might be the place for you. - Iluvcamp

Park was pretty full as it was Easter week. Nice folks in the office escorted us to the site. They have pizza and donuts for sale in the office. Wifi worked excellent. About 24 TV stations on their cable. Great overnight stop north of Branson. - rr2254545
Sep 2018 - $62.00
We stayed over Labor Day weekend. The campground was very full. Check in was quick and easy. We were guided to our site which was helpful. Our gravel site was on the back row with a cement patio with round metal/glass table & 4 metal chairs and a fire ring. The sites are about average spacing for most KOA's. The employees do rounds of the cg often making their presence known. Good family atmosphere. Free "train" rides for the kiddos around the cg. Pool seemed a little small for this size cg. Playground was really small. Bike rentals avail for $8.50 per hr. That was too steep for us so we passed. The train was constant and LOUD. With ac on we could still sleep and not hear it too bad. - Autumnjoyz
Jun 2018 - $35.00
This is a great park. Check in was literally less than two minutes. Our site was easy to find and easy to get into.... although they are somewhat close together. The office has a good assortment of supplies and parts... and they will deliver firewood, propane, or whatever you need to your site. Because of the closeness of the sites... our neighbors sewer connection was only a few feet away from our patio and table... Which can make for a smelly breakfast if your neighbor is trying to get dumped and leave first thing in the morning. However, I would definitely recommend this park, and would stay here again. - GoHorns!
