The campground had only one good site. All the others faced the highway. If you sat outside, it was like you were watching indy 500 and the sound was continuous. We were unable to walk to the stream because the weeds were knee high. - sdagp
Jun 2012 - $30.00
Overpriced; no weekly or monthly rates. Side by side narrow sites all gravel and short with no vehicle parking. Park rules NOT enforced. Dogs off leash with owner stand next to campers dog. Glass and dog in pool area. Wi-Fi weak and we were near office. No cable unless you have a DirecTV receiver. Some OTA channels. Not near much, all conveniences food, groceries, diesel fuel 6 miles away. OK for overnight but that's it. - Trikki Rikki
Apr 2010 - $25.00
Very friendly staff provided an abundance of information about the area. Park was nice and is available in off season. Location is not ideal as it was a bit north of the Lake of the Ozarks area. - Vicky
Oct 2018 - $32.00
Low water pressure, acute turn to enter park. Interior roads are a bit tight but navigatable. End of season and there were ruts in the roads. - hug448844
Jun 2018 - $32.00
The signage is excellent. The site we were in #1 was long but has a large mound in the center of the site. We had to unhook our 40' RV to gain approximate level setup. FHU Gravel roads are narrow and dusty We visited with the camp host, very friendly. Was very convenient to Gas and Groceries. Fun stay but think this park it a little to confident in its pricing. - godoit
Sep 2017 - $30.00
A good place to relax. We stayed 2 nights to catch up on some rest as we traveled across country. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner actually loaned me a longer water hose to use as mine wasn't long enough to reach hookup. Not much to do in the area, but we were only looking to find a clean, quiet spot and this was it. We would stay here again if ever in the area. Site was a little off level, but most gravel sites are. Used a couple of stackable levelers and everything was fine! - GspGator
Apr 2008 - $24.00
Was OK, hard to get to places. - flying pig trading company

Great landscaping, shaded, very inviting campground about 8 1/2 miles south east of Warsaw, MO. Mostly full time campers with some spaces for over nighters. Steep hill takes you down to Lake of the Ozarks, where you can launch a boat or fish off the docks. Can even tent camp down there. Odd electrical policy -- charges $3.00 per 12 hours if you use a/c, and you are on the honor system. Campground owners also have strict policy against swimming in the pool if you have been swimming in the lake. Out of the way -- make sure you bring what you need because there is no store on site or in the immediate area. Pet Friendly. - Dan64078

This is a great little park. The sites are all gravel and quite tight but everything is clean and neat. While it is not a vacation spot/resort, if you need to stay in Sedalia for a few nights this is a nice park to do that. It is convenient to everything. Plenty of lawn available to play games or relax. You can hear the road noise but it is not terrible because the park is back from the road at least 200'. There was enough room for our 41' motorhome but our toad had to be parked on the lawn across from the site which was no issue. The owner bought this park in Jan 2018. She is wonderful to deal with in person, although getting return calls is difficult. The wifi is excellent if you have a booster. If not it doesn't seem to work for most people because the originating signal is too far from most of the sites. We had fair T-Mobile cell signal. The owner was very accommodating, we needed packages delivered, no problem she said. We were taking the RV Driving School, the instructor asked her if we could use the park to practice parking maneuvers, again, no problem! She is so sweet and easy to deal with. The only problem you may have is trying to turn into the park if you're heading south on Rt65, also called S. Limit Ave. The turn in has curbs and is small. If you plan ahead and move somewhat into the left lane (four lane rd) it is completely doable. We are 60' long with our toad and did not hit either curb coming in. If you think it's going to be a challenge just go past it, turn around and enter while heading north, no problem from the middle turning lane. We'd definitely recommend this park. - Dave and Deb
Jun 2016 - $25.00
This campground is a 55+ park and you should call to reserve a site. The owners are semi-retired and may not be at the campground. The correct phone number is 660-596-1174.
The campground has about 28 sites, most sites have 30 amps, and the rest have 50 amp electrical services. The voltage was good - hovering around 120 volts. That might change if the park was filled. Picnic tables are available.
The electrical box, water and sewer are all located in the middle of the site. The sewer was in between the electrical box and water spigot. There is a bathroom with 3 showers per gender. There is also a laundry room, but it was not open during our stay.
The campground was basically an open area with a few trees on crushed stones. The sites were very level. Most of the sites are back-ins but there are a few pull-thru's. All of the sites can accommodate a large rig.
The entry way to the park is very narrow; you will need to swing wide in order to clear the curbs.
WiFi was available and the reception was good. Verizon air card and cell phone reception was also good. Cable TV was not available
The campground is very quiet at night. We would definitely come back if we were in the area. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. - adsaxs
Jun 2014 - $33.00
Nice setting, quiet, clean. Not much shade. - Marilynintexas
Jul 2017 - $32.00
We stayed for 3 nights. Nice campground. Owners very friendly & helpful. Loved the nature trails through out the park. - Bikers Dream
Oct 2016 - $30.00
Recommend this park. Working in area. Owners are the best ever!!! Park is very quite during the week, weekend's are busy during peak season. But no problems. Halloween was very nice, spook trail for the kids, although Wife and I enjoyed too. Hay ride. The owners out do themselves to make an enjoyable stay for everyone. This park is one of the best I have stayed at. Seen a Black Bear in the park during the week. Bear ran back into woods no problem. Picked blackberry's behind RV. Highly recommended park!!! - traveling today

Park was quiet, a little too quiet - Lake of the Ozarks review team
Oct 2017 - $10.00
It was a 10 night stay and was nice quiet camp site. We will go back again 1 or 2 times in 2018. - edsharon2017
Oct 2017 - $30.00
We had 3 RV campers and stayed two nights over the weekend. The campground was very clean, as was the public restroom/shower house. We used one pull-through space and two back-up spaces. There was plenty of room. We have stayed here several times and have had a great time each time. The owners and employees are very friendly and helpful.
The only negative thing I find is they do not take reservations. We arrived early so we could get 3 sites and had to put our camper in one space, our boat in one space and our pickup in another. We will come here again. - Diana A
Aug 2014 - $22.00
OLD park with new owners who are attempting to make some renovations. Very few sites for big rigs. We had electrical problem at our site. After six workers spent several hours attempting to fix it (unsuccessfully), we were moved to a different site. One of the owners was rather rude and unconcerned about the situation; the other was more willing to try to find a solution. Given the one owner's attitude, the electrical problems, and lack of big rig sites, I would not stay here again. - Heart
Jul 2009 - $28.00
The road to the campground is rough in places. The office staff are friendly and helpful but, the only supplies available is ice. Entire area is gravel. Several fulltimers and year round campers as evidenced by the look of the unwashed trailers. Overall not to bad. We will be back. - jmd
May 2007 - $28.00
Nice park. No highway noise. Some new sites with landscaping and plenty of room for slide outs. They also have cabin rentals and boat rentals. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the in-ground pool. Must access the park via a gravel 1/3 mile gravel road. Some asphalt at the park, but all sites are gravel. We will be back! - Loren
