Oct 2019 - $20.00
This is our 2nd time staying at this park. They no longer accept Passport America, unless you had stayed there previously as a Passport America member, which we had. The for us was $20. Staff are very friendly. The sites are nice and long and fairly level. It is a great location for visiting the Carthage Joplin area. There is some road noise, but not bad. We would definitely stay here again. - jacknpeg
Sep 2019 - $35.00
We are traveling Rt 66. This is by far the best RV park we have stayed at in the past two weeks. Stephanie checked us in cheerfully and efficiently. What an ambassador she is for the Carthage area. She took the time to go through the guide book, with recommendations for stops. Carthage Chamber of Commerce should really appreciate this lady. - Pitch1

Absolutely a great place to stay! Extremely clean, everyone is super friendly, sites are easily accessible, there’s no negatives from me. Only positive! - Rhonda Hook

Off season and only a few rigs in the park. Could have spaced us out some as they did with other rigs that came in, but no. I am sure since I had a Good Sam's discount I was placed right next to a rig with trash all around it. They left their garbage outside which some animal scattered all over. Went to office twice but never anyone there. Would not stay here again. - DRNiven
Oct 2019 - $36.00
Visiting family in the area so stayed here based on other reviews. Park had easy access of our MH + toad and had plenty of open spots as expected for this time of the year. Seemed to be in a good site upon arrival, but 40 hrs of non-stop rain left standing water at the bottom of our MH steps. Park was very busy during the 5 nights we spent there with lots of 1-2 day stop-overs for MHs and 5th wheels. Lots of pull-thru sites making it ideal for that. A little too cool and wet to enjoy the picnic table or bike riding. - Don and Jackie
Sep 2019 - $32.00
Overnight stop. Easy on and off from I-49. Sites gravel with paved streets; sites level. Paved area for picnic tables with small walkway to each. Good hookup; internet and cable worked well. - RP-LP

No way deserving of the very high marks it's received to date. Photos on their website are misleading, as they must've been taken over a decade ago when the park was relatively new and trees weren't so overgrown. That said, it's perfectly acceptable, reasonably priced @ $200 for a week, and we would consider staying again if passing through the area. - 2fortheroad
Sep 2019 - $35.00
Immaculate park, great staff, lots of green space for pets. Great overnight spot. RV Store adjacent to property. I had dead truck batteries park staff let me use a battery charger to get me going. - starcraft35
Jul 2019 - $25.00
Very nice park; lots of shade; friendly staff; good value; nice sites with 50 amp FHU's, mostly pull-through but some back ins; close to two RV dealers for service/repair if needed; close to Carthage and Joplin MO. Very east access off I-49 only 1 mile north of I-44. Very nice blacktop interior roads; gravel sites; excellent park for one night, or a month (we usually stay 1 week or a month; and they do have weekly and monthly rates). Close to lots of interesting activities; and only 90 miles (1 hour 45 minute) from Branson (Silver Dollar City); just a few miles from Precious Moments. - John Grady

Nov 2019 - $25.00
This is a tiny RV park with a very nice and attentive owner. It was cold so we didn't hook up to sewer. The owner has heat tape on the water feed. There are clean showers that have incredibly hot showers! We tend to like these no frills small private campgrounds and this did not disappoint. - HaRV the Traveller
Aug 2019 - $21.00
Stayed 1 night passing thru, and made it a point to add two more nights on the return trip. This is a great place to get off the road, kick back and just relax. The park is well kept, very clean. An older park, nothing fancy. Not new and shiny, just a basic campground ideal for your fifth wheel or Class B or Class C motorhome. 30 and 50 amp service, potable water. Some sites with sewer, a Dump site on premise. Shower house on site. Owner is very friendly, helpful, a real delight! - Goshen Prairie
Apr 2019 - $25.00
Despite a few dead bugs in the older bathroom I loved this place. There's absolutely noting to do but sit and read and enjoy the pretty pond, which we had a nice view of. It's quiet, which is what we were looking for in an overnight stop. It's a short distance off off the highway exit, but far enough to be quiet. (Don't believe your GPS that tells you to take a bunch of back roads!) - PamVan171

Stayed here to visit the tornado memorial and the Precious Moments Chapel. The park is right off of the interstate but noise was not an issue. We were in the section that has lots of shade trees. - texasoaks54
Apr 2019 - $40.00
Pretty normal KOA. Level pull thru gravel 30/50 amp full hookup sites. Cable not good at our site, very fuzzy. Dog run and pizza available. Small store. Did not use but they said hot water out in showers. Fairly easy access from I-44. Would stay again. - teepee51
Oct 2018 - $43.00
Nice clean well run park. The section we stayed in was level with large trees well spaced around. There are also spots that are in the open (for satellite). Our site included cable that worked well. - Dave Hole

Oct 2019 - $25.00
Used this as a Route 66 stop as we explored the Kansas section. We stayed at the park near the Q store. Basically a concrete parking lot with hookups. Both my wife and I got players cards so they gave us two nights free, and invited us back to stay for free after a week. There is a shuttle that will come right to your site and take you to the store, casino, or golf course. Go to your site, set up, find the number, go to the casino and get a players card, then go register at the Q store. We stayed and played the free $7/ea they gave us on the Players Cards and ate at the buffet. - juzwant2play977
Sep 2019 - $25.00
Large parking lot with water/electric sites. Not real level but mine was easy enough to get there. Easy in and out, very clean and well cared for. As everyone said, free night with a player's card, more depending on your level of play. No grass at site, but plenty of big manicured grassy areas for dog walking. Quiet at night, couldn't really hear the highway. Good place for a one night stop. - Texas Guy
Aug 2019 - $25.00
We needed a place to overnight in the 95 degree heat of August. Wanted some 50 amp access. This is a casino RV park. There are actually two of them. One by the Casino and one by the Q Store. There is a shuttle that will come right to your site and take you to the store or casino or hotel or golf course. It is free for one night if you join their players club (free to join). They have 20, 30 and 50 amp and water and a dump station. Go to your site, set up, find the number. Then go to the casino and get a players card. Then go register. Free for one night. Clean with some road noise. Very easy to get to. It is essentially a concrete parking lot with marked spots and hook-ups. Perfect spot for us. Be sure and get a players card for a free night. If your spouse also gets one, you can get two free nights. - Magnum34

May 2014 - $10.00
This park was very nice to stay in while we worked to help the Red Cross using our motorhome as a base during the tornado restoration work that we did. Each pedestal at each site has a 30 amp as well as a 50 amp hookup, with good electricity and has good water pressure also available. In addition, there is a dump station in the park as well. Virtually every site is fully shaded, with parking on asphalt large enough to place all wheels of a 40' motor-home off the grass. As instructed we called the Police Department for permission to stay and the Lady there suggested that we might prefer to come to the Police station to avoid any potential hassle with regards to paying. We understood that the Police are busy, however we regularly saw them patrolling the road alongside the park, but we knew that we should pay the $10 nightly fee, and so we took her suggestion. Our stay there was uneventful, peaceful, and we would stay there again. - jmorgan54
Mar 2014 - $10.00
No facilities at this park just porta potties. Took moving three times to find a plug-in that worked. Very kid friendly has a huge park with playground. You have to go by the police department to get the permit they wouldn't come out for us so best to stop on the way by. - G_Escape
Aug 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here while driving Route 66. Campers need to contact the Baxter Springs Police Department for a permit to camp. Even though we called the police department, no one ever came to collect the fee. A dump station is available. There are both back-in and pull-thru sites. Grass was long but it had been rainy for a few weeks. We were able to wash our rig and tow car at our site. We would stay here again. - thetravelkids

Nov 2019 - $28.00
Reserved or drive-in, the sites are very well identified with A-Frame sign boards so there is no need of guessing upon your arrival. I would recommend reservations as sites are limited. We have this RV park on our list of stays should we pass through the area in our future travels and definitely recommend. - Griswolds on Vacation
Jun 2019 - $27.00
Stayed here 3 nights in a travel trailer in one of the pull-through spots, which seem to be held for people traveling. Back-in sites seem to be for more permanent residents. Nice laundry and bathrooms, level sites, quiet spot, and not much to do, which was fine by us. Owner was very accommodating and there was even a storm shelter on-site. One of the days we were there, we had a deluge of rain and the entire campground stayed safe and out of harms way. In fact, some other campers pulled in that day who had to leave another campground that day due to high waters. Several old timey artifacts on the property. Owner seems to be making improvements the entire 3 days we were there. We would definitely stay there again. Oh yeah, comparatively great WiFi the whole time. - Bandanna Man
Aug 2018 - $30.00
Meticulously kept. Laundry and bath/shower facilities locked with code. Very hands on and friendly. Quiet. Playground outdated for those with kids. Have a dog run. Cute grounds. - Fiffyluv
