Absolutely our favorite place that we stayed during our 2 weeks traveling. The view was great. The cafe, open to guests, was delicious. We loved meeting people at the community camp site. We were greeted with cookies and s'more packages by the owners who have done an excellent job providing a fun and charming place to stay. My son in law who joined us stayed in one of the cabins and it was clean and we loved the decor. I can't say enough about this place. They suggested a place to rent ATVs and we rode into the mountains which was so fun and then directed us to Turners ranch road where we saw so much wild life. The kids loved it! We would love to stay here again. We camped at The Inn on the Gallatin in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Small beautiful park with gracious (and fun, personable) owners Cute artsy touches throughout the campground, gorgeous delicious and fun Fri/Sat breakfast available in the cafe (make a reservation, the locals also love it!). Even though they don't have shower and laundry due to size constraints, we love staying there. Cabins also look sweet, but we were in our RV.

The sites on the lower part by the river are especially quiet and nice, but any site is riverfront. Bigger rigs fit best up top. No dog park, so be sure to pick up your own dog's crap. We had to pick up gunk left from others it was pretty obvious which Turds left the turds. We camped at The Inn on the Gallatin in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We had a very small spot with a little deck that backed up to the river. So small, that our neighbor could not extend their awning all the way lest it bump into our slide, and our sewer was practically underneath the RV. Our spot was # 5, which is opposite the entry drive (meaning that it was relatively easy to back our huge 5th wheel into the tight spot). Parking the dually in front of the RV was very tight, and the only real option. Other spots might not be as friendly for larger rigs. There is absolutely no cell phone service (even our We-Boost with a directional antenna only got us 1-2 bars of Verizon analog only), but their Wifi was EXCELLENT. This is a cute, smaller park, with what seemed like quite a few longer-term renters and a very friendly staff. There is a BBQ and a communal fire pit (free firewood!) along the river, which is shallow and fast moving (e.g. not really good for dog swimming). Croquet and Cornhole can help pass the time. 10 minutes to Big Sky, and there is not much else in the area. They do have a breakfast cafe on site, but we did not try that. We might stay here again. We camped at The Inn on the Gallatin in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is situated between a highway and the Gallatin River. Highway noise is noticeable during the day but not a problem late in the day. Sites are very closely spaced but many have decks that overlook the river. That fully makes up for the tight side-by-side spacing. You'll spend time on the deck looking at the river and never notice your neighbors rig. Sites are level gravel pads, enough gravel to keep the site from becoming a mud puddle in the rain. We had no trouble navigating the interior road or parking our motorhome. Check in is quick, after 3 pm, and comes with a bag of killer chocolate chip cookies. When we are again in the area we will return just to get another bag of cookies. There are 3 entrances to the park. The best entrance depends on the site you are assigned. Call ahead to ask which entrance to use or be prepared to pull out of the campground and make another approach. That is what we did, not a big deal but avoidable. We camped at The Inn on the Gallatin in a Motorhome.

OUTSTANDING hosts at this lovely park. This has been the best RV park we've experienced in this past year since we started RVing. We drove in and were greeted by a host who explained where our spot would be. Then another host appeared with a small bag of 4 home baked cookies for us and two dog treats for our dog!! They even had our own personal little sign greeting all three of us at the site. The setting was ideal, the sound of the rushing river day and night was peaceful and calming. Each RV site sat right along the river! This couple has thought of everything! A stairway down to the shore line of the river led to picnic tables with umbrellas, a hammock, a LARGE community fire pit, complete with firewood, matches and kindling. There were also two Weber kettle charcoal grills and charcoal, as well as hotdog and marshmallow forks for roasting fun! The small cafe on site boasted necessary supplies in a limited variety. Also, local souvenirs and their own jellies and jams. Breakfast was delicious and served just a few days of the week. Owners lived right on site and across from the cabins, so you know they run an upstanding business. Landscaping was fun and whimsical with lots of attention to details. There was an outdoor patio for dining options and also a game area with corn hole boards, crochet set and large yard dice. We camped at The Inn on the Gallatin in a Motorhome.

This small park is right on the Gallatin River and we could sit in our living quarters and gaze out at the river. Owners very friendly and there are cabins in this location as well. We camped at The Inn on the Gallatin in a Travel Trailer.
