Small RV park in town, very close to all amenities and shopping. About 1/2 were permanent residents, and the other half seemed to be overnight guests, like us. We had reserved one year in advance, but when we arrived....they had no record of our reservation. However, we showed them the paperwork and they found us a nice spot with grass and a large shade tree. All sites are asphalt back-in sites with parking for your tow vehicle next to your site. Park was VERY clean. The restrooms were extremely clean and well kept, other than a rather distinctive "sewer" smell? Check-in was friendly! We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walmart and Cabela's were within a couple miles, as were a number of Breweries. We visited a couple state parks nearby....one with cave drawings.

A lot of trees but good Satelite service. Nice person working the checkin. Good location near Sams Club and diesel was $2.49. Costco in town also same price. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Downtown was fun to walk around and great biking around ate at the Burger Dive ( very good burger) Texas Roadhouse was great. Panda Express was the worst we have ever been to. Scenic drive to Red Lodge was terrific.

We stayed here two nights. The park is mostly residents, but a few sites appear to be reserved for overnighting RVs and big rigs. Our site was a back-in and had plenty of room. Interior roads were wide enough for us. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Billings has plenty of places to eat and a decent mall area. We chose to stay here so we could drive the Beartooth Pass to Cooke City. That is about a 200-mile round trip but well worth the day.

Narrow park roads. Sites are wide and have a paved parking spot for a vehicle next to the RV. Paved sites and park roads. Dumpsters were close to all sites. Water, sewer, and electric worked fine. Park Wi-Fi ... not so good. Nice green grass but my trailer requires no watering. No table or fire rings. Roads are two way but not wide enough for two RVs to pass each other. Sites are backed into on the drivers side so it is vital to know which road your site is on BEFORE entering the park. Recommend parking on the street or as close to it as possible. We had to drive down one side of the office up the other side and back onto the street to go down another park road to our site. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects weekly rate. FHU 50 amp back-in site. All sites are back in. Paved roads and sites with grass between sites. Grass is nice and green, but needed to be cut. Because it was so long, bugs were biting our legs when sitting outside. Wi-fi was good. Nice laundry. No other amenities. Some train noise. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Drive to Little Big Horn National Monument and Pompeys Pillar National Monument were well worth it. Both very interesting sites.

This is a fine RV Park, but nothing special. It is easy to get to from the freeway. It is quiet and in an industrial part of town, so nothing really to walk to. It was clean and well maintained. There are some nice large trees to get shade. Ours was a back in site, there are no picnic tables, the grass is nice. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were pleasantly surprised by this park. The alternatives on the river had been flooded in the spring and were $35 more. Paved roads throughout. Sites were asphalt with some gravel at the back of the site. Our 40' fifth wheel fit easily with parking for the truck on asphalt next to the rig. Well maintained lawn to sit in the shade. Laundry was clean; washers were 1.50 and dryers were 25 cents for 8 minutes. It was a little tight maneuvering into the back in site due to vehicles parked across from our site but leaving was easier. When I mentioned it to the office she said she could have asked them to move their vehicle had we asked. The permanent sites mentioned in earlier reviews were mostly segregated on the north row. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park but we thought that it was very expensive. Laundry room was pretty clean, two dollar wash and $1.50 to dry. Trains nearby but didn't hear any at night. Wasn't the cleanest park we've been in, broken hoola hoop in our site and dog poop everywhere. WiFi was really good, not a lot of people there in mid-October. Paved sites but ours wasn't very level side to side. We're probably going to try a different place when we're back in the area. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

3 Nights. The owner took out booking without a deposit and he was so freindly when we arrived. The Wifi is very good. All the grounds are covered by asphalt of grass. Approx. 3 miles from downtown. Would stay here again. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

A bit pricey, but very nice, convenient CG. Had the best wifi we have ever had in a CG. Conversely, the cable TV picture was almost impossible to see it was so bad, and one of the worse of any CGs in which we have stayed. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV park is just off I-90 close to downtown Billings. It is a well run park with mostly excellent basic facilities. The driveways and site pads are asphalt which is a welcome change from the mostly dirty and dusty parks we have encountered in this part of the country. The sites are back-in with plenty of space for parking your tow vehicle. We had a back-in space with 50amp full hook-ups. There is a grass strip and mature trees running down behind the site pads. We couldn't get satellite signal because of our position against the trees and the cable signal was low quality but we were able to get good over the air TV. The provided WiFi was reliable. The restrooms and laundry facility are well maintained and very clean. We paid $50 per night with Good Sam discount. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from the interstate and shopping/fuel within 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Blacktop roads and sites - which we really appreciated since so many are gravel and dirt. You can wash your RV for a small additional charge - which we did. All sites are back in; we had no trouble. The only campground we've ever been to that had an outside close line outside the laundry room. No picnic tables, pool, etc - but a great place to stop for a night or two. AT&T worked great. Their WiFi was pretty week so just used out hotspot. Plenty TV channels; cable worked great. Train tracks are close but they were not terribly loud and they weren't constant. Park is clean overall and many of the slots had decent shade (including ours); the trees were not in the way or to low. It is higher than you would expect given the lack of other amenities and early check out time; but we would stay there again. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Plenty of shopping, fuel and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Nothing really within walking distance, as it's located in an industrial type section. Great for sightseeing or just a needed break.

They advertise as big rig friendly, but only back-in spaces with EXTREMELY limited maneuvering room. No designated area for walking dogs, so you're forced to walk behind other campers. No picnic tables. In an industrial & trailer park area (a bit sketchy - I wouldn't walk at night.) Lastly, check out is at 10:30 am; never have seen in all our experiences such an early checkout. They don't clean spaces when you leave or have trash bag pickups. We won't go back. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
