4 RV Parks near Choteau, Montana
Aug 2012 - $8.00
In Choteau, east of the grain elevator is a picnic area. East of that across the creek is a small camping area next to the rodeo grounds. You can't beat $8 a night and its a nice quiet location next to a nice park. There is a walking path along the creek. - Wereapair

We're on our way to Glacier, and needed a overnight spot. We used Passport America. The owners are on site, conscientious and accommodating. The site layout is odd, owner escorted us to our site. Site was not level, but not too bad.The laundry is adequate, and only $1.25 per load! We visited the local museum, The Old Trail, eclectic, quirky and enjoyable. - kat31m

We had a 30 amp pull-through which was too short for our 40' fifth wheel and truck, but the owner told us it was okay to stick out into the road since they had other roads. The interior roads were gravel but easy enough to maneuver. No OTA TV or cable, but easy to connect to DirecTV because of no trees in our area. Good water, sewer and electric connections, and we covered our larger windows with blankets since we could only run one air conditioner. The owners were very helpful, and gave us tips on where to ride our motorcycle for scenic rides, which we enjoyed very much. We stayed 2 nights rather than one, both at PA rates. We would stay here again if in the area. Our site was easy to level up even though it was on a slight uphill slant. Other sites in the park are one in front of the other. Good, free wifi once the owner turned on the booster, and it remained good both days. No table or fire ring at our site or the others near the road, which is probably reserved for their overnight customers. Others have said there is no 50 amp or that the 30 amp wasn't a full 30 amp, but we had 30 amp all while we were there, and I didn't find out for sure whether they actually had 50 amp. - Ginny H
