The management (owner and host) were pleasant. However, we didn't know that the park is right next to the interstate thus is very noisy. As a result, we cancelled our second night. The sites are spread apart well; ours was next to the stream. We are not dog people, so the constant barking was not pleasant. (Note to all parks: not everyone has or wants a dog. Please consider that in your rules.) We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground. We received a pleasant welcome by a lady who presumably is one of the owners, she even walked us to our site. The sites are grassy and sufficiently spacious, plenty of room to back in as well. There are plenty of trees around. We needed our leveling blocks but ended up fairly level. The water and electric hook-up worked just fine. We did not mind the disclaimer about the non-potable water as we don't use our RVs water system for drinking anyway. As an exception to pretty much all other campgrounds we visited during this trip, the WiFi actually worked perfectly. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is under new ownership and they have some work to do. The new owners seem like really nice people and should do well if they can make needed improvements to the park. The driveways are gravel and dirt, really dusty and potholed. We had a pull through that was mostly grass but also very uneven. We had water and 30 amp electric plus a picnic table. I think they currently have only one 50 amp site. The toilets are pit toilets, not disgusting but not appealing either. No showers, no laundry, etc. There's not much nearby, you'll have to go to Helena for any serious shopping needs. They have free WiFi that was spotty but mostly usable. We paid $30 per night. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Motorhome.

New owners took over 3 weeks ago. Very nice guy working hard. Previous owners let it get very rundown. Presently only electric but good and strong. All other parks in Helena were full so I was looking at spending a 100 degree afternoon on Wal-Mart's blacktop parking lot. I saw the sign for this park about 9 miles south of Helena so pulled in hoping for the best. Only 2 trailers in park. I called number posted on bathroom and owner said pick any site and he would be by later. I picked site K right next to a flowing creek that was big enough for my 37' 5th wheel unhooked with truck parked next to it. 6 sites along creek. Some sites are around a grassy area that could also fit longer trailers. A.C. is working great and keeping me cool. No water and sewer right now but owners working on getting fresh water well working. 1 outhouse that I didn't check out. For self contained vehicles this is an easy overnight stop with great electric. Lots of weeds and long grass in park right now but should be taken care of by new owners soon. You have to drive across a little bridge to access park. My trailer weighs 12000 lb plus dually F350 and bridge is still up. There are also a few sites before bridge if you think you are too heavy. Or check with owner on weight rating of bridge. The Interstate is very close on one side and a two lane road on the other side so turn the fan or ac on for white noise. Again nothing fancy here but would work if FHU parks are full. I would stay here again. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A recent detour on our way to South Dakota brought us to the attention of this small RV Park. The owner and manager were extremely hospitable. While mostly a self service park - perfect for overnight guests - we planned a much longer stay. Many of the park residents appear to be of the permanent variety, but most appeared friendly. Clean showers, rest rooms and laundry facility exist, but with heavy rains, the gravel sites and roadways transform into rivers and lakes.

A generous cable lineup along with more than adequate Wi-Fi round out the few amenities, but overall, you really can't beat the price for a monthly stay ($360).

Should fate ever again send us a detour this way, we'd certainly stay here again. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Motorhome.

We came through Helena on a Saturday looking for a campsite. Well, the fair was in town and all of the sites were full. We found this place on the map and phoned. The gal had site 1 available for 2 nights. This is the only full hookup site. The site is uneven and wide open. Water pressure is good and this is a 50 amp site. To get into the site we had to take the trailer over a rickety bridge, through a bunch of low hanging branches, and around a loop to get faced in the correct direction. There was no place to turn around without making that move. We have a 36' trailer. It is a bit overpriced for what you get but it was quite satisfactory. They do not have showers and just an outhouse for a restroom. However, it's clean, does not smell, and is adequate. The location is very good as it's right next to a river. The manager is wonderful and very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. Keep in mind that this place is perfect for small RVs but very difficult for big rigs. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place for a 1 night stopover enroute to Glacier. Trout fishing in the creek is always pretty decent too. No showers available. Right off I-15, but no issues with noise at night. We'll be back! We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is really odd. We would not ordinarily stay in a campground located between a freeway and a frontage road, but we like this place and it compares very favorably to other campgrounds in the area. There are nice willow shade trees and Prickly Pear Creek runs through; some sites are on the creek. The freeway traffic is minimal after 10 PM and we were not bothered by freeway noise during the night. We stayed 3 months in 2003 and 5 days in 2008. We will stay here again. Only 10 mins. South of Helena right off I-15 in Clancy, MT. Fantastic spot for 1-night stop or more. Stream runs through Cg and fishing for 8-12" brown, brook, rainbow trout is FANTASTIC!! Close to HWY, noise did not bother us, however. Nice people run the place. Sites have 30 amp + water. No sewer hook-up, but, dump station near front. Will DEFINITELY stay here again next time we are in the area. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
