Check in was easy and we drove to pull through site 60 with FHUs. We paid the extra $4 for cable (30 channels), which was not added to the nightly rate we showed. They gave us a two cents off coupon for gas at the Conoco station as you come into the campground. There was also two other coupons for food as well. We got 2 to 3 bars on Verizon and their WiFi worked well. We went to the Old Montana Prison in town and took the self tour. Very interesting and worth going. Admission price was $15, but we got the military/veterans' discount for $12. Admission fee also included the Montana Auto Museum, which was worth a look especially if you like early 1900's vehicles. We enjoyed our overnight stay at this well run park and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a nice walking trail that runs off the row 20-30 sites side of the park. Well kept trail to walk your dog that connects all the way to the city park. There's also a large well groomed area to walk your dogs.

Nicely designed campground with easy access to I90. Easy check-in and great camp site. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good Verizon signal and open site for Dish Network. The interior roads and campsites are gravel and well maintained. We would without a doubt stay here again if in the area. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Indian Creek RV Park is right off of I-90, you can see the freeway from your site. Expect the usual freeway noise. As you enter this campground the sites on right side are 30/15 amp plugs. On the left side are the 50/30 amp plugs. All of the sites are pull-thrus and are FHU's. The utility box and water spigot are located on the appropriate side. The 50/30 amp plug area can accommodate large rigs with a tow. The electrical voltage was good - hovering around 120 volts. The free Wi-Fi was OK - sometimes I could not connect to their Wi-Fi or the signal kept dropping. Verizon hot spot and phone reception was good. All sites have a picnic table. Fire rings are not allowed. Propane is available at the office. The interior roads and sites are on packed pea gravel. Most of the sites were level. There is small patch of green grass separating each site. A dump station is near the office. There are (3) showers per gender within the bathrooms. The laundry room had (3) washing machines @ $1.75 and (3) dryers @ $1.50. The 50/30 section was very close to the "Travel Plaza". Lots of commercial vehicles park here during the evening. These trucks back up to the RV park. Many of them leave their engines running all night. There is a berm but I do not think it adequately blocks the noise. The bathrooms were fairly clean. Management needs to check the bathrooms more often. There is a full page of rules but few are enforced. Oddly there are no rules pertaining to dogs. Any breed and number of dogs are allowed. We have seen 4 people with 4 dogs come out of a small pop-up trailer. Dogs barking all day until their owner come back to the park. Perhaps this is due to the office only being open from 9 to 5. This park makes for a great overnighter since it is directly off the freeway. We would come back to this park. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a pull through site. I think most sites are pull through. Site was gravel, very level. Full hookups. We had a picnic table, fires were not allowed. The laundry was very clean and reasonably priced. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Cable TV. WiFi worked pretty well for web access. There is a trail you can walk (good for dogs), about a half mile. You can go out and back or do what I did and walk on the surrounding roads for about a two mile walk. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the Old Montana Prison Museum. It's very interesting. It will take an hour and a half or two hours. The Frontier Museum is not worth your time. The prison hobby shop is very good - leather work, beaded goods and other items made by prisoners in Montana.

This is a nice park to use while traveling on I-90. It's convenient to exit 184. This exit has several fuel and food options. Interstate noise is there, but it did not bother us. The loop and sites are gravel. Grass is between the sites. The trees on the property provide scenery but not shade or privacy. Snow-covered mountains are visible from the campground. There is a quarter mile nature trail where we walked our dog and saw some deer. Sites are very close. When we visited in early May the park was not crowded. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice pull-through site, big enough for our 42' plus tow. WiFi and no trees to block satellite. If you have a larger motorhome and a tow, you might have to disconnect. Several restaurants within walking distance. Local restaurants, many historical venues in the area. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

A comfortable but pricey overnight stay. Easy access from I-90, with good interior gravel roads and long pull-thru gravel sites. Convenient hookups and good WiFi. OK cable TV, no OTA, and no obstructions to the satellites. Verizon cell/data were strong. Close to the interstate with the expected noise. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone. The park is easy off/easy on from I-90. Because of its close proximity to the interstate, there is continual road noise, but we didn't find to too objectionable since the weather was cool enough that we kept our windows closed most of the time.In the summer it might be a different story. Sites are level gravel. The park is clean and well maintained. There appeared to be a lot of permanent or long term residents, but most of the rigs were clean and tidy. The management gives you some discount coupons upon check in for a fast food place and gas station adjacent to the park. Safeway is within about a mile. WiFi worked well. Bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious. One amenity we really liked was a trail on the eastern edge of the park that connects to a municipal trial system and meanders through fields and woodlands - great place for an after dinner walk with or without your four legged friends. I wouldn't consider this a destination park, but it's convenient and reasonably priced for a one night layover. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Not sure where to start. Office staff was very pleasant. Campground is clean. But little grass, level gravel sites, close together, no place to sit under the awning (looking at neighbors sewer hookup and utilities, lots of daytime road noise that is not bad at night. Be aware, all utilities are at the very end of the site. Verizon service good, wifi was excellent but down for half the time we were here. I consider Indian Creek to be an acceptable overnite stop site. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 2 nights 24-26Jul. Nice park. Spaces are close but navigable. We didn't sit outside as it's one of those parks you have to share your sitting area with the neighbors sewer hookup which is normal at many of the older campgrounds. Staff was awesome. Wifi was adequate. No problems hooking up the satellite and Verizon was strong. We would stop again. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
