Paved roads with gravel pads. You have your choice of open, shaded, or partially shaded spots. They are 3 fenced dog areas, a pool, adults only hot tub, solid full hookups, okay wifi, an onsite retail store, and clean bathrooms and showers. Every big box national chain has a store on Reserve street walking distance away. This is our third time here since 2010. - whizbang
Aug 2018 - $43.00
Stayed for 2 nights. Level pad, long enough for motor home and towed vehicle. Easy to maneuver, all utilities worked well. - retirednrving
Aug 2018 - $43.00
very busy park that books up early so call ahead. We were on the main drive in and the traffic speeds were a factor if you have Children or pets. The park is right in town and is surrounded with mobile homes. - acadiandave

This is a small, friendly campground. Most sites are long term people and they have a few cabins. General store has a little bit of everything. Beautiful Yellowstone river across the road! Only stayed one night, good WiFi. - 2VetsRVing
Sep 2018 - $35.00
The campground is easy access from I-90, traveling a couple miles down a narrow paved road. We drive a 45ft motorhome and even though the entrance and campground was a bit tight, we were able to navigate into, through, and out of the campground with the car attached. Internal roads are paved and sites are gravel and relatively close together. Many sites have trees at various locations on the site which can present some difficulties. There was one tree on our site that we needed to push up out of the way in order to open the slide. The site was level and the coach easily level up with the jacks. The utilities are placed to the middle/front of the site and work well with good electric and water pressure. Our site was satellite friendly but we could not get any OTA channels. There are sites with more tree cover which would have made satellite reception difficult. We did not use the laundry or rest rooms so cannot comment on that. There is no designated dog park and one small area that looked like a playground of sorts. The staff in the office (which is in a small store) were very friendly and helpful, both the phone and in person. In general, the campground is in a bit of disrepair. Although the grass is mowed there are many permanent sites, some of which are cluttered and unappealing and several campground building and equipment that are in disrepair. The place is fine for one night while on the road but is not a destination campground. Given the tightness of the sites and CG in general, I don't think we would return but it would be OK for smaller rigs. - LvR

This park is just off I-90 east of Missoula. It has back-in and pull-thru sites, asphalt driveways and gravel site pads. The park is not very attractive with lots of clutter and weeds. The bathrooms are rustic but appeared to be clean. Oddly, the men's room has a laundry within it. On the plus side there is a very nice park-like area near the entrance with a gazebo, shade trees and a play area for children. The included WiFi worked well if you're close to the antenna. We had a very long pull-thru site with full hookups (50 amp electric). We paid $40 per night. - Coopsecondact

This place was probably nice at some point? Bring a spool of cable if you want to use the TV. The sewer and water are 25 feet apart so bring several extra sewer connection hoses too. The pull thru sites were not close to being level. The grass is burnt brown. Just for fun we tried the mini golf. The mini golf was probably nice when it was new too. This is a tired old park that has some potential but it needs to be rebuilt to modern standards. There is a very nice park close by however you need advance reservations to get a spot. - Pugbus
Sep 2018 - $45.00
Our pull through site was level but had no shade. We had full hook-ups but did not need the sewer which was good because I would have had to use 3 hoses to reach the sewer at the back end of our site. There were several good OTA TV stations and a good Verizon signal. The WiFi worked well. The park is convenient to I-90 and there is a Flying J at the exit. The staff was friendly and we did not see any long term campers. We would stay here again. - MarkandMarty
Aug 2018 - $47.00
We stayed at this park with our caravan. All 16 rigs had pull thru sites that were long enough for our motorhomes and you could pull your car up on an angle in front or behind your rig. The bathrooms were AWESOME! - NYParsels

Oct 2018 - $46.00
While the landscaping was very pretty it just seems they are trying to make this some sort of "upscale" campground, especially with all the rules. We were supposed to have full hookups but didn't have running water - no apologies, no discount. We were placed in the back of the park so we got to hear a train running through every 2-4 hours during the night and it was so loud. The second night we kept our radio on just to cover the noise. We had people walk their dogs through our campsite three or four times even though it specifically states in their list of many rules not to do that. It appears that they have a lot of people living there. Then there's the fact that there's no fire pits. What's camping without a camp fire? We probably won't be staying there again. - outsider
Oct 2018 - $34.00
Booked in advance, staff is friendly and very helpful. Train is nearby but not bothersome for us. Bathhouse is one of the best I've been in. WIFI was excellent, we were told it had just been upgraded. Cable TV was pretty good, only had one channel that didn't come in clear, not exactly sure if it was a problem on their end or mine. AT&T and StraightTalk cell signals weer good. - allen8106
Sep 2018 - $40.00
We stayed here in Missoula to have some work done on our motorhome at a facility just down the street. It’s a beautiful park! Although we were there in October after the summer, the gorgeous flower beds were still somewhat in bloom and it’s apparent that they care about their park. There’s an abundance of hand crafted goods in the office for sale ( which I bought) and everything is neat and tidy. Our site was easy to pull into and out of
And all the hookups worked as they should. Our interactions with the owners and one employee were very pleasant, and they seem like really nice, genuine people. Great place and easy to get to. - Harles

Jun 2016 - $28.00
We stayed in a spot in rear of campground next to creek. It was nice and fairly quiet. Roads were in bad shape and big ruts. Considering the location and available CG's this place worked for us. It's pretty rustic. - mcomeaux
Jun 2016 - $25.00
This park is located on a site that is beautiful. It has large boulders, small stream flowing alongside the park, sites are large, easy access. WIFI is acceptable. No ATT phone or TV. Entry roads are lightly gravel with deep ruts, and muddy areas. Sites are grass to dirt and could be messy with rain.
Problem with the park is that they have a junk school bus in the middle of the property that is trashy, and another old trailer that looks like something out of "Breaking Bad." We had no problems there and the two ladies were very nice, but the junk was awful. - johnmack
Jul 2015 - $42.00
Beautiful mountain setting, easy access to highway. Cabins clean, restrooms have fallen into disrepair but are on a comeback. Clean stream and plenty of hiking. Campground employees seemed on drugs & a bit sketchy, all were new or near new. - welldgeo

Sep 2018 - $32.00
Rate is for water and electric only.. $3.00 more for sewer. This park is absolutely beautiful. Lots of pine trees and the river is on back side of campground. Feels like a country setting and so quiet. Maximum stay allowed is 14 days on average. Would definitely stay here again. While there we drove down to the Idaho visitor center about 45 minutes away, then stopped and did a hike on the way back. So much to see in the area. - goofy50
Sep 2018 - $31.00
We really love Lolo and this is our second time at this park; prices have gone up a bit, but so it goes everywhere. Anyway, this is not a resort type of park, nor is it an urban park. It's in a lovely area, a bit off the beaten path and a bit on the funky side - all things we really like. Some people have said they don't like folks on the bicycles riding around - but I kindof found it charming. The old guys and gals always smiled and waved. Anyway, it's not for everyone, but one of our favorites. We had great Wi-fi most of the time - good enough to use the firestick, so that's always a plus. But occasionally, nothing worked, so it wasn't perfect. No cable TV either, but not a bad selection of antenna selections. It might be difficult getting a decent satellite signal as there are a lot of trees about. But even with these few quirks, we had another great time here and would come back again. - Ellistea
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Excellent welcome and RV park. Bathrooms are a little dated but no worries. Free cold wash and clothesline. I wanted to stay longer, it felt like we were in a forest service campground with hookups. Wonderful. Quiet. The rest of the parks in town after the Labor day holiday were filling up fast. This one also, a few sites available...Least expensive in town and I didn't notice the square dancing, not really a big influence on the park. - saturn7

Jul 2018 - $32.00
Sites were dirt/grass , hard to tell the actual site at first glance. Water, electric (my spot only had 20 Amp) and sewer worked fine. The restaurant has good food, average meal was about $20-25 including tip. People at Park were nice and the workers were very friendly and nice. - MattB
Jul 2017 - $35.00
The RV park was packed. We came in without reservations and the only sites available had 20 amp - which meant no a/c for us. We were placed in the shady tree area which was perfect. Close to the restrooms and really close to the creek and wonderful views of the mountains. I used the shower - very awkward set-up which required walking thru one shower dressing area to reach mine. I did not like intruding on the stall next to me to exit while they were showering. My shower was a trickle, while theirs had adequate pressure. We ate at the restaurant for dinner & breakfast. The food is excellent and portions are huge. Loved the homemade soup & jam and the extensive salad bar. Love the historic stage station building that is the restaurant/rv office. Will return again next trip out this way. - LizzyWA
Aug 2016 - $35.00
The best way to summarize this campground is "funky." The full-hookup sites are in an open field and close together. They look to be mostly long-term stays. We chose to stay in the electric/water sites that are not as closely spaced. There is a dump station. About five of these sites are in the open with 30 amp electric. Most are in a wooded area with very unlevel sites with only 20 amp service. You check in at the restaurant. The ladies there were very nice but had no clue of 20 versus 30 amp power. We made reservations, but that was not really necessary, as there were many spaces available. Since we were in the field area, we were able to get satellite with our roof-top dish. Verizon signal was amazingly strong and fast. They do have Internet that was intermediate, sometimes fast and sometimes off. It is far enough away from the Interstate that there was not a lot of traffic noise, but there are train tracks with some train noise, but not bad. Overall it was a pretty quiet, restful stay. This was an OK place to spend the night, but we might try someplace closer in to Missoula. - TheJim

Had a nice back-in site right next to the river. The rushing water provided a nice background for a good nights sleep. The main bathrooms were nice and clean, and the overall facilities were well maintained. We didn't use the vault toilets. A nature walk around the campground perimeter was fun. - TomcatRV
Sep 2017 - $24.00
Small state park right off the interstate. Most sites are too small for a motor coach, but, off the loop (towards the boat ramp) there are 3 sites that are big enough for 35-38' coach (we got a pull-thru). Host is very gracious and good natured! Good for an overnight stay. Went up to the Garnet Ghost Town. Stayed 3 nights. - cbay
May 2017 - $30.00
Always nice to stay in the state park. With power and water for $30 I would stay here again. Very friendly camp host. What bothered me the most about this site was the most annoying trainwistle, all through the night!. Nice walking trails in the area, river side and very spacious sites! Thank you for letting us stay here! - CCMK

Sep 2016 - $5.00
Nice little forest service campground to spend the night. No hookups. We were in a 32 foot Class A pulling a car. There were a number of pull through spots big enough that we didn't have to unhook. Has a nice feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. I consider that a good thing. A little traffic noise was the only negative. - Russell G
Jun 2016 - $27.00
This was a one night stay. Spaces are close to each other we stayed in the back loop close to the water. No sewer hook up but they do have a station.
It was quiet for most part my wife heard live music at times from across the street. The restroom and showers need attention. Not bad for the money but needs attention. - mcomeaux
Aug 2011 - $10.00
This is a Forest Service campground. Very nice paved access roads and about 10 pull through sites. Tables and fire rings at most sites. Quiet but immediately adjacent to the Lolo Pass Highway 12. 15 miles west of Lolo. Nothing fancy but a great outdoor experience. You need to be self contained but there are pit toilets and water spigots available. - rncordy

This is our local "go to" campground. Quiet, beautiful, well maintained. Some sites are along Bass Creek. Great hiking trails. Address is actually Florence, MT, off Hwy 93 at the end of Bass Creek Rd. between Stevensville and Florence. Some pull thrus. Recommend that anything over 36 feet NOT go down the right (west) loop due to a tree that hinders maneuverability to swing the loop. Have seen some rigs bigger than our 36 footer get in big trouble here. Dump stations available about 25 miles in either direction, north in Missoula or south in Hamilton. - Susan - Richard Nelson
