1 RV Park near Garryowen, Montana
Sep 2019 - $40.00
Check in was very easy and you get free ice cream of your choice; we chose the huckleberry ice-cream, very tasty. We received a 15% Escapees discount for this campground. We were then escorted to site A32, which was a pull through with FHUs that were easily assessable. A pleasant surprise was that the water here was very soft and there was good water pressure. We got a good Verizon signal plus their WiFi worked well. Laundry was $2.25 for washer and dryer. Another pleasant surprise was that they actually advertise that you can wash your rig here in the park as most parks do not allow this. There was no designated dog area, but there was plenty of room to walk your pup. There was also a dirt road out the East side of the park into the prairie where you can go for a long way and let your dog off leash. We stayed here two nights so we could visit the local Custer sites. Both the museum, to include their 45 minute narration movie, plus the National Battleground were well worth the time. Be sure to give yourself at least 3 hours at the battleground monument so you can also do the 5 mile driving tour. We would definitely stay here again. - MK_Willi

Best campground to visit Little Big Horn Battlefield. Close by. Friendly staff who were very helpful with directions and suggestions. Full hook ups but no cable. Nice shade trees. And they let you wash your rig if you're careful with the water! Beautiful sunset views. We would stay again if we were in the area. Oh yes there is a train nearby with many crossings and horn blasts, in case that bothers you but it wasn't a problem for us. Clean laundry room too! - Patnal

This is a lovely campground located near the Little Big Horn National Battlefield. Campground is located on a hill but our site escort was so familiar with the sites that with his assistance we were able to park without having to level which is important for a truck camper. Office staff was very helpful and one is offered free ice cream at check in. Campground is very neat and well kept. Laundry room is small but clean and the bathrooms were immaculate. RV washing is allowed at site. However, the the campground water is naturally soft from an artisan well and unpleasant to drink. The gravel road to the campground entrance is not bad and only about 1/2 mile of gravel which was being graded the day we departed. We had a propane tank to fill and the campground manager recommended a place in Lodge Grass. We paid $1.25 per gallon for propane, the lowest price we have ever paid so if you need propane, it is worth the drive-Lodge Grass is about 12 miles from the campground. We would stay at 7th Ranch again. - roadking
