Decent Park we had a large pull thru site which had partial gravel and partial grass and was not level front to back, we had to use blocks under the front wheels and under the jacks so as to not over extend the jacks. The owner and her family were very nice they let us leave a week early (I was looking for better fishing). The cable TV was snow all the time the WIFI was ok, Verizon cell service was good. This Park is not bad if your heading to Glacier Park you wont have to pay the high prices just outside the NP, Kalispel has lots of shopping and Dining options. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

If I could I would give it 8.5 stars. This place seems to have an area in front that is kid friendly and a place in the back for us "oldies". Kalispell has the best dog park I've ever seen. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We were surprised at our site. An uneven gravel spot that flooded when it rained (4 inch deep puddles). Our friends in a pull-through had their site completely flooded as well. None of the "rules" are enforced. Dogs poop everywhere. Dogs are left tied to trees outside. The park is a mix of full size mobile homes, long-term RVers, and short-term RVers. It is not well maintained (long grass, mud ruts in many sites, over flowing garbage cans, etc). Never saw any management personnel other than when I checked in. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Our first stay at this park, but hopefully not our last. This is a great park. Level spaces with lots with grass and trees. Very well maintained. Friendly and helpful office staff. The laundry room was the best I have ever seen at a campground and very reasonably priced. Park is located about 35 minutes from west Glacier entrance and about 10 minutes from downtown Kalispell. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pull through was plenty long for our 40' and toad. WiFi was iffy. Did not use the bathrooms as we're self-contained. Lots of space between rigs. I would've liked a back-in because the view behind looking at the mountains was lovely, but they were all taken. The RV park is about 5 miles from all the main shopping, so it was nice and quiet out in the country. Easy in and out. Nice, nice managers. Helpful with all the local sights and shopping. Fire pits were available if you wanted one at your site. We'd recommend this place. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Great price for the area. Lots of shade at our spot. No real view but we had a fence to separate us from others and was spacious. There are some spots with mountain views but we called only about a week ahead. Close to town but in a quiet area away from any noise. All the stores you will need for anything in Kalispell. 30 minutes to Glacier West. Really fast check in! has wifi and cell service We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We kind of threw a kink into the planned stay when we called ahead and asked to come in a night earlier than scheduled. Staff happily found us a spot in the overflow section. No water or sewer and only 30-amp electric, but it was place to park for the night. However the 30-amp didn't work until one of the staff came out and quickly fixed the problem. We moved into our assigned site the next morning. As others have noted, there's a wide variety of sites including full sun, partial sun and heavily wooded. Most of the full sun sites are pull-throughs with some back-in. Sites in the heavily wooded section appear to be somewhat shorter back-ins that are tightly spaced. Interior roads and sites are gravel with grass separating the sites. There is room for big rigs to easily maneuver especially in the open sun section. Staff is open and friendly, there's a small lake that doubles as a swimming hole, dog runs, nice laundry, a tiny store and bathroom facilities. The park is neat, clean and well maintained. And best of all (in our opinion anyway), it is a very quiet park - far enough off the beaten path so there's no highway noise and no railroad noise all hours of the day and night. We've stayed here before and would do so again without hesitation. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

All the major retailers have branches here and most are only 3-5 miles away. Glacier National Park is beautiful and if you have the time, it makes a nice full day trip. Flathead Lake is stunning and nearby for all kinds of water activities.

We stayed one night in space #18. It was very very small and very tight. There were some beautiful sites in the park but I guess the one nighters get the crappy small spaces. We were driving a 24 ft motorhome and towing a jeep. I will not go back. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

As others have noted, there is a real variety of sites in this campground - some close together, some spacious, some shady, some sunny. Our back-in site #75 had a beautiful view of the meadow and distant mountains. The grounds are nicely maintained, with an impressive garden at the entrance, a clear running creek , a canal for leisurely canoe rides, a pier and swimming hole, western-themed playground for kids and open grassy area for dogs. We were delighted by the friendly, knowledgeable staff at reception as well as the travel information, local newspaper and maps available there. All services worked well and the WiFi signal was decent. Staff were responsive to complaints and dealt effectively with campers who ignored on-leash requirements and quiet hours. The campground is just outside of Kalispell and proved to be an excellent base for visiting West Glacier Park (about an hour away), exploring the Flathead Lake region and hiking in nearby Lone Pine State Park and Kalispell's Lawrence Park. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very pretty park with lots of trees, and it is bordered by an open meadow facing the mountains on the outside loop where the cabins are. Staff was very helpful in changing our reservations and still getting us very near our requested site. A bonus for us was having nice laundry facilities onsite. Roads are paved, cable TV is good, and Wi-Fi is better than most. We really liked this place! We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in site 61 for ten days. Glacier park was closed due to the fire. We enjoyed the view of the mountains once the smoke cleared. Convenient access to shopping since we towed a vehicle. Quiet park with lots of seasonals and live-ins, but well maintained. We would definitely stAy again. Nice playground for kids and a swimming hole. Tips for other Campers:

It is close to Glacier national park but it still takes a full day to visit Glacier. Visit Glacier Park; plan for the day. Karaoke Friday nights at 8, and dancing each Saturday night starting a 7 at the Kalispell Eagles. The Blue Moon is a Great country western bar on the road just ten miles north. Hike at Forrest Service access trail heads instead of Glacier Park as they will be less crowded. Bigfork to the south has a wonderful summer playhouse. Enjoy local cherries and huckleberries in late July early August.
