Jul 2019 - $21.00
This park is good for an overnight. We had a pull thru with full hookups for $21 which is a fantastic deal. The wi-fi worked great. There is a laundry on-site but we didn’t use it. The owner was very accommodating. - HS R.
Nov 2016 - $16.00
This is a run down motel and RV park just off route 15 in southern Montana. The gentleman running the place couldn't have been nicer. It isn't the prettiest palace but definitely convenient. We had the best Wi-Fi of anyplace we stayed for a long time. I would stay here for a night anytime. - mainesailer

Gravel parking sites need leveling, a parking lot. Good for an overnight. Short walk to convenience store and gas station. Two tire shops nearby if needed. Adequate power and water. No showers, laundry or other amenities - Trikki Rikki

A beautiful setting overlooking the lake. It's very primitive, with water available from a running spring a short ways away. No hiking trails and very little access to either lake. The River Marsh CG, about eight miles away is NOT for an RV, but for vans and tenters. Overall, lots of wildlife and sheer beauty. The road there, however is terrible and shook most of what we carried to the extreme. I'd never do it again in an MH. The views are truly amazing, however. - Red Wolf Deux

This is an older, primitive, 4-site, old-fashioned Forest Service campground 9 miles up dirt roads from the Lima exit. We stayed in a small Aliner trailer and it took a lot of leveling. We picked the uppermost site, which required a lot of leveling, but had great views. I'd not recommend it for large RV's, but it's a great place to get away. There was only one other camper at the time, and I doubt it's ever full. Site #3 was so overgrown it took some time for us to find it, so I doubt it's ever used. Also, there are level, dispersed campsites along the last mile there that could be used, although without pit toilets. You must bring your own water. We stayed in the uppermost campsite, with great views of Lima Peaks and Mt. Garfield. The campground is free, and the only services are old, wooden pit toilets, which were in good repair and had paper. None of the sites are very level, so blocking is necessary. There is good hiking nearby on trail #40. The trailhead is at the end of the Middle Sheep Creek road, which forks off a mile or so back towards Lima. This is high, arid, mostly open country with great views and few visitors. The nearest cell service is about 8 miles back towards Lima. - User2873

We turned up on Labor Day weekend and it was full - however the camp host was very helpful and we stayed the night at the bottom of the park where the trailers and some farm vehicles were parked. Lovely peaceful nights rest. - Jason Lehel
Jul 2019 - $5.00
We had been in hot weather and much appreciated the coolth from the altitude and the trees. We reserved thru recreation.gov and the fee for that exceeded our per night fee :-( but it was still cheap at a total of $13 for our one night. The CG had not yet filled up (a Thursday in early July) by bedtime. The spaces were wide apart, level, and private. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Nearby Spencer ID has eateries and opal shops. If going from the CG to Spencer, use the access road instead of the freeway until the hwy work is done as there is no southbound exit right now to the town. - Weelyrd
Jul 2019 - $10.00
Very nice camp. Clean, camp hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The sites are well maintained with the standard table, fire pit, tent pad. Plenty of room for your vehicle as well. Pit toilets are also well maintained. There are a lot of families and ATVs/UTVs but things quiet down very quickly after dark. There is a lower set of sites and then another group of spaces up the hill. I suggest the higher sites. The lowers are less scenic and closer to a herd of cows which make quite a bit of noise in the early morning. Keep your site clean as there are black bear in the area. - BodhiLV
