7 RV Parks near Marion, Montana
Aug 2018 - $37.00
We were here for two nights. Great park located across the street from their restaurant lodge. Great food at reasonable price. Camp host was very friendly and knowledgable of the area. The sites are gravel and level. The sewer is close, water pressure is great. We did have a small problem with electric and the owner had to replace the circut breaker but it was done very fast and he bought us a drink for the hassle. There is a hiking trail that goes around the park. The map says 3/4 of a mile, but my Apple Watch said 1/2. It's an easy trail and anyone can do it. We drove about 1 mile to McGregor lake which was so pretty and clean. Also there was a skydive competition at the small airport. Misquitoes were really bad but spray worked well. We camped in a 41 foot 5th wheel. - Sheila Rosson
Jul 2018 - $37.00
We were here back in 2014 (see my 7/14 review) when this park was still somewhat under development. The cost is now up to $37/night which is still a lot cheaper than almost everything else in the Kalispell/ Glacier NP area. We again had a level, pull through, FHU site. We have our own rooftop dome, so we used our satellite hookup rather than mess with theirs. Their Wi-Fi worked fine for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. Yes, the mosquitoes are bad, but we made sure we were inside for the night before it got dark. The bathroom and laundry facilities are modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I saw no recycling. - Jerry S
Jun 2018 - $33.00
Easy to find right on Hwy. 2, good location for visiting Kalispell (only 30 miles) and lots of lakes in the area. Lodge with restaurant across the 2 lane Hwy. , heard great things but never went. Pull thru and back in sites. NO cell service or Internet with your Verizon/ATT devices, but they offer free WiFi for the park and it worked great. Laundry is on the honor system, you pay the hosts. Machines worked as they should, as did power/water/sewer. Mosquitoes were relentless, be sure to bring your bug spray! Neat walking trail around the park but for me unusable because of the bugs. Very clean and neat, I'd return if in the area. - Ella18
Aug 2016 - $23.00
Permanent residents, more like RV slums!
No leash rules but a penned dog run and looks like limited use.
Narrow sites and our 30 amp didn't work, had to locate a 110. Good WiFi and clean laundry.
Neighbor refused to restrain his dog when I asked so I could remove my dog from our vehicle. All his conversation was with an ax in his hand, said he knew how to take care of bad dogs! - Mary Rowell
Jul 2014 - $22.00
Stumbled upon this RV park. The staff were super friendly. Many sites are filled with full time residents but they had plenty of pull-through sites available. Grass sites with shade trees, no sewer. Dump station, gas, small market, laundry machines available. Quiet and surrounded by forest trees. My favorite was the abundant population of wild bunnies everywhere. All sizes of black, white, and brown bunnies feed on the grass around all the sites. The owner said they multiply like rabbits. They are not afraid, just busy eating. There is a large pasture area that is mowed, Perfect for dog walking. The rate for one night was $22 but they charge $3.00 for one load of laundry washing and the same for the dryer usage. The owner feeds the deer so you will most likely see deer in the early morning hours inside the campground. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. - Celeste T
Jun 2016 - $40.00
This park is centrally located in Kalispell and offers quiet, paved interior roads, mostly level sites, monthly rates but expensive nightly rates. Monthly rate of $385 plus metered electricity, but NO weekly rate with a flat $40 per night. No picnic tables unless requested. All back in sites with hookups that are extremely close when slides are out and you share water hookups with your very close neighbor with strange sewer hookups. - RJourney
Jul 2010 - $30.00
This is a great park. We stayed here a month while I had knee surgery so we had a monthly rate. I'm not sure of the nightly rate. It's a great value! A somewhat older park but very well kept up. Paved roads throughout. Everything was clean and nice. Laundry was small but adequate. Lots and lots and lots of shade trees made the heart of the Montana summer seem cool. Very friendly owners. We'll stay here again! - leotafaye
Aug 2018 - $40.00
The owner was very nice. They booked us on short notice. The campsites are way too small for 5th wheels because the trees are way over grown. They really need to trim them back. When we pulled out the branches tore off our gutter drain and a side back up light. We tried every way to get out, but because the sites are so small we really had a hard time. I do not recommend this park for motor homes or 5th wheels at all. Our site had rubbish all around. - Sheila Rosson
Jul 2018 - $48.00
Nice small campground in Kalispell. There are some long term residences but the area around those trailers is well kept. The sites are plenty good and all the utilities worked. Probably the best thing was that the WIFI was actually usable for email and web surfing. You most likely cannot stream on it but it is useable for most stuff. We were very happy to find that. I also watched as the owner (I think) worked hard to get someone a spot for 2 nights. It was refreshing to see that the people here care about what they are doing. There is very little traffic noise. There were some low tree branches that he owner is going to get trimmed but it is taking time to get somone in. In the mean time he takes the time to make sure that big rigs can get to thier sites safely. We will be in the area again and this is where we will stay as long as they keep the WIFI and neatness up. - Teddy Bear Travels
Sep 2017 - $40.00
This is a small park just east of Kalispell in a town called Evergreen. It is mostly long term residents but several long pull thru sites and shorter back in sites are available for temporary stays. Park manager was very accommodating, friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. Park consists of cabins and a storage building. Not much traffic in the park other than residents and short term stays. Graveled and level camp site with a grassed patio and a picnic table. A fire ring is also at each site but fire restrictions were in affect. It was quiet for the most part. Occasional traffic noise could be heard since MT-35, a somewhat major thoroughfare for traffic headed to West Glacier or east bound out of Kalispell, is close by. We would consider staying here again but there are other RV parks closer to the west entrance, I just don't know their camping fees. - kihei7
Sep 2018 - $40.00
When we arrived the office was closed, but someone showed us to our site. We were told when I made our reservation That we would be able to use our Satellite TV. This was not true. We had no tv while we were there. The park is very run down, right off a busy road, road noise all day and night. Most of the park was live aboard, Very shady looking bunch, their RV looked very run down. We were told we were very close to glacier national Park, which was not the case, 25 miles from the park. I would no Recommend this park. - Crbus
Jul 2016 - $39.00
Shower heads in the women's shower are for someone 5 ft or under. I'm 5'8" and had to bend way backwards to wash my hair. Shower had drainage issues so the bottom of the shower held about 2 inches of water that was not draining. Can I just say: yuck. The floors were wet and small curtain area for getting dressed with no bench and a single hook to hold everything. Bathrooms are outdated and need work. Water alternated with very hot to ice cold in a matter of seconds. It was ouch one second and burr the next. Other than that, everything was great. Good Sam's shows a 9.5 for the bathrooms but they clearly have not been reviewed recently. - Family Death
Jul 2016 - $49.00
Nice park. Easy check in. Some sites are too close. Restrooms are super clean. Sites are level. - Tredguy
Jul 2018 - $57.00
We were not as wowed by this park as some of the other reviewers but that may because our space was average at best. It was close to the restrooms which was convenient but the restrooms are old and dated. The spaces along the river were probably better than those close to the back which is where we were but the spaces were small. And as is the case with many RV parks the wifi was spotty, especially at night when everyone is streaming. From the reviews and pictures we were expected something a bit more special with more charm and ambience. - Cinzia
Jul 2018 - $40.00
This is by far the best campground we've ever stayed at. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. They are extremely pet friendly which is SO hard to find. Huge open fields where you can take your pets as well. There is plenty of space between campers, some more than others of course but you aren't slide to slide. Lots of room for kids to run or ride their bikes. It's right on the river so you get some incredible gorgeous views and sunsets! The highway noise really isn't bad either because you are below it. The cottonwood trees add a great touch to this place providing shade. This place is amazing! Make sure to drive slow as there are tons of kids playing or riding their bikes. - Outdoors4life
Jul 2018 - $52.00
This park has many wonderful features, not the least of which is its location, location, location. The staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, the cottonwood trees literally rain down sticky sap over everything, and the "cotton" from the cottonwoods then sticks to the sap! My truck and 5th wheel are completely covered with this sticky mess. If you camp there, be sure to specify that you do not want to be near the cottonwood trees! - Frequent Traveler
