This is our third stay here. One of the things we like about this park is that after the hustle and bustle of parks closer to Glacier NP, this park is very relaxing. As usual, we had a level, pull through, FHU site that was satellite friendly. The bathrooms were clean but we did not use the laundry. The Wi-Fi was fine for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. There is nothing recreational in the park, but you have access to the lake across the road. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Motorhome.

This was our third visit to McGregor Lake RV and once again we had a wonderful experience. On-line reservations were simple and we also got a call back from the host within a day or two. Paid a 50% deposit on booking and the balance at registration. The host and his wife were very pleasant, providing us with some basic information and a couple of rules as we checked in. We had a FHU pull through site with 50amp power that had no issues of low voltage or spikes. Water pressure is adequate and the water tasted fine. The utility post was about halfway along the 85' gravel pad that sloped slightly from left to right and also had a bit of a dip right around where our steps came out, meaning we had a sizable drop from the step to the ground. The grass between us and the site to our door side was lush and well cared for by the seasonal campers staying there. Each site comes with a picnic table and fire pit. Satellite connection is also available through the utility post but requires a Dish decoder. Basic Wi-Fi is available and included in the price. The interior roads have now been paved with asphalt since our last visit so there is significantly less dust. The bathrooms are regularly cleaned - seemingly several times of the day. The laundry is still $5 for one washer load and dry, $8 for two and $10 for three loads, payable to the host who then unlocks the laundry area. Hwy 2 runs past the CG but the volume of traffic is fairly light and didn't bother us all. Occasionally, I got one bar of AT&T on my Canadian Rogers cell phone - bliss. OTA tv was also non-existent. Made for a very peaceful week. The short trail around the CG is a pleasant and easy walk. Being late August, early September we did not get pestered with mosquitos at all. Mountain blue birds though were very evident. This is no longer advertised as a Good Sam location but the rates are very reasonable without that. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mail/parcels can be sent to the CG. Kalispell is about 30 miles east and they are re-paving Hwy 2 so the road is in good condition (Sept 2019). Lots of good shopping (Costco/Wal-Mart) and restaurants.

This Park and Lodge across the highway is owned by the same owners. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Check-in was quick and simple. Our site #8 was a pull thru long enough so we didn't have to unhook. We had several meals at the restaurant and every meal was great food & great service. We thought the prices were very reasonable. Only negative was my wife didn't like the laundry situation, you had to get someone from the office to unlock the bldg. because they have regular Washers & Dryers so you pay the staff so much per load. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Fifth Wheel.

This appears to be a newer park owned by the folk who have the lodge a restaurant across the highway. They have an on-site host/manager. Friendly and pleasant. We were drive-ups without a reservation. Check-in took only a few minutes and we got a site. Not quite 100' long a pull thru was great. Unfortunately for us, we were only able to stay one night but will try to stay longer next trip. There are several lakes in the area with great fishing. We had dinner at the restaurant. Food was good, service was excellent, prices were reasonable ( can't ask for much more than that). We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Travel Trailer.

We were here for two nights. Great park located across the street from their restaurant lodge. Great food at reasonable price. Camp host was very friendly and knowledgable of the area. The sites are gravel and level. The sewer is close, water pressure is great. We did have a small problem with electric and the owner had to replace the circut breaker but it was done very fast and he bought us a drink for the hassle. There is a hiking trail that goes around the park. The map says 3/4 of a mile, but my Apple Watch said 1/2. It's an easy trail and anyone can do it. We drove about 1 mile to McGregor lake which was so pretty and clean. Also there was a skydive competition at the small airport. Misquitoes were really bad but spray worked well. We camped in a 41 foot 5th wheel. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here back in 2014 (see my 7/14 review) when this park was still somewhat under development. The cost is now up to $37/night which is still a lot cheaper than almost everything else in the Kalispell/ Glacier NP area. We again had a level, pull through, FHU site. We have our own rooftop dome, so we used our satellite hookup rather than mess with theirs. Their Wi-Fi worked fine for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. Yes, the mosquitoes are bad, but we made sure we were inside for the night before it got dark. The bathroom and laundry facilities are modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I saw no recycling. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Motorhome.

Easy to find right on Hwy. 2, good location for visiting Kalispell (only 30 miles) and lots of lakes in the area. Lodge with restaurant across the 2 lane Hwy. , heard great things but never went. Pull thru and back in sites. NO cell service or Internet with your Verizon/ATT devices, but they offer free WiFi for the park and it worked great. Laundry is on the honor system, you pay the hosts. Machines worked as they should, as did power/water/sewer. Mosquitoes were relentless, be sure to bring your bug spray! Neat walking trail around the park but for me unusable because of the bugs. Very clean and neat, I'd return if in the area. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Travel Trailer.

This is a "new" RV Park, across the HWY from McGregor Lake. The park is very pretty and well laid out. The laundry and showers are excellent! The owners/and work campers are very friendly. I would recommend this park for the area. However, please note, that their internet is terrible, just barely able to check e-mail and they advertise Dish and Direct TV if you have the service. However, their service is only for old standard definition TV. It does not work for HD. Also, it's extremely dusty in the park as all roads are dirt. You can not open your windows for the dust! We stayed here for two weeks over the 4th of July holiday. What a find! First, it is a newer park with excellent FHU, 50 Amp service and long sites suitable for big rigs. There are no amenities, such as a pool or tv service, however we got excellent DISH service. There is no cell service, but the wifi was better than most of the RV parks where we have stayed. Gracious hosts and wonderful fishing. There were few people in the park except for 4th of July weekend, when it filled. There is a walking trail around the park. The owner agreed to have a community 4th of July bbq on the grounds to which we were invited. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with folks. The party was wound down by 10 PM and there was no trace of the party by mid day the next day. They did have a lot of mosquitoes( not their fault) and the garbage did not get emptied as frequently as needed, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again without hesitation. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Fifth Wheel.

a decent restaurant at the lodge across the street. 30 miles to Kalispell with plenty of shopping. 1.5 hours to Glacier National Park. It is much quieter and cheaper than the parks closer to the park.

This is our second stay at this still developing RV resort. Once again it was very quiet, with only two or three other RVs in the available 41 spaces during the Labor Day weekend. Not much has changed in the last twelve months since my first visit but plans are still afoot to landscape and pave the roads and sites. The bathrooms remain immaculate with plenty of hot water at a good pressure. All sites are full hook up (power, water, and sewer). The facilities at the sites are consistent with good voltage, water and sewer connection. There is no TV reception via antenna but satellite (Dish and DirecTV) is available to connect to at each power post. Wi-Fi is available at no cost in the resort and works very well. Once this resort is finished it will be an absolute gem in north western Montana. The current nightly rate for up to two adults and two children is $33. We also ate at the restaurant across the highway from the resort and owned by the same people. The food there is uncomplicated and tastes wonderful. It was also very inexpensive. Service was excellent. We will most certainly return to both establishment in the future. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Fifth Wheel.

After seeing the previous reviews of this new park, we decided to check it out. The second review from last yerar gives a very good description of the park and the facilities. We stayed here one night in late July and had a FHU pull-through site. It was satellite friendly so we did not hook up to their cable/satellite system because I was not clear on how it worked. You hook up a cable to their outlet and then get either DirecTV or Dish depending on which system you have. I am not certain that you can get any reception without having one of these systems in your RV. Their were only about 20 sites occupied the Friday night we were there so I guess the park is not well know yet. The 802.ll network worked well for us in the RV. Most sites a quite large and appear fairly level. Going across US2 to the lodge with its' bar, restaurant, cabins, and dock on this beautiful lake is the only recreation. Unless you have a boat or just want to fish or swim off the dock, there isn't much to do. For families who still do the "week at the lake" vacation this is great. This is a nice park with a somewhat limited appeal for more than one night. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Motorhome.

The rate shown is the weekly discounted rate, otherwise $33 per night, but they do also offer a Good Sam discount. Set in a clearing and surrounded by mature pine trees, there are 41 sites, 12 of which are pull through. All sites appear to have full hook up (50, 30, and 20 amp), water, sewer, and satellite TV connection (just need your own decoder). All of the sites also had a new wooden picnic table with attached bench seats and a stone fire ring with wood available to purchase. Right now, the sites are gravel and sort of level but having chatted with the owners and hosts, the plan is to pave it all with blacktop. There is a one way traffic flow through the campground. Between the sites is an area that will be landscaped in time. At the moment it is a mix of wild grasses and clover. The bathrooms are centrally located. On the men's side the is one general use stall, one urinal, one shower and two hand sinks. There is also a separate room and of a very generous size that has a toilet, sink and shower all easily accessible to the disabled or those with mobility difficulties. The water temperature and pressure was good coming out of the showers and taps at the sinks. The shower stalls were expertly tiled and looked very pleasant. Apparently the ladies side was set out in a similar fashion with one obvious omission. The bathrooms were always spotlessly clean and fresh smelling - even had fresh flowers in there. There is a laundry open 0800 - 2000 daily. I found this rather odd in that it was an honor system which I have never seen before for a site laundry. One washer and dryer load $5, two loads $8 and three loads $10, payable to the camp hosts. There are three washers and three dryers, all of which worked very well. There is also a small table for folding clothes. The park offers free Wi-Fi that worked very well all the time we were staying there. I couldn't get a cell signal from any carrier which meant that work couldn't get hold of me that way - oh well, how sad and tragic! I cannot pass comment on the satellite or TV reception because we don't have satellite and I didn't crank up our TV antenna. There is a bark chipped walking path around the site that is about 90% complete. This is bear country so you are requested to be cognizant of this and clear away barbecues and store food carefully. There are two lakes within a stones throw for fishing, kayaking or boating and there are public launch ramps available at both. Across the road from the RV park in McGregor Lodge, owned by the same people. This has a full service bar and restaurant open from breakfast to supper and beyond. The food here is excellent and very reasonably priced. We thought we'd been undercharged for our meal and drinks only to find it was correct when we asked for them to make sure our drinks were included. There is also a small grocery store for essentials and seeing as Kalispell is 30 miles away, it is very handy for the odds and sods you may need. Highway 2 runs right by this RV park so there is some traffic noise but this is only noticeable because; a) apart from the sounds of nature, there is no other background noise to blend with it and b) the traffic isn't very heavy so there are long periods of silence broken by the odd semi or Harley chugging past. The camp hosts and owners are very friendly and helpful, both prior to our arrival and for the duration of our stay. The owner was genuinely pleased that we had come to give his new RV park a try, even though it isn't yet completed. We will certainly return within the next few years as I believe this RV park will develop into a premier location for camping in NW Montana. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Travel Trailer.

This brand new park is on its way to a 10! The park has 17 sites so far, the remainder are still under construction. The sites are wide, long and level. Several satellite dishes are placed throughout the park and Wi-Fi was excellent. The sites all have nice picnic tables, and several have fire pits. A short walk north or south takes you to 1 of 2 lakes. The lodge is on the larger lake and is well established with a good restaurant, small grocery store, bar and deck. Cabins and a pier at the lake are also available. The down side is the lack of completion. The owners and workers try to keep the dust at a minimum, but there is no landscaping, or grass, yet. We did cook out, but choose not to eat outside in the dust. The owners are very friendly and eager to make this park as beautiful as the surroundings and as friendly as the lodge. We anticipate giving them a 10 on our next stay. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Motorhome.
