5 RV Parks near Melrose, Montana
Sep 2011 - $7.00
Small campground right on the Big Hole River. Basically parking on grass with a campfire ring. I had a great site overlooking the river. With only one other camper, I got a great night's sleep. Fly fishing the next morning was fun, and I would return. - AluminumCloud

This is a beautiful little RV park. Very quiet. Parking is completely on lush green grass. Location is very near fly shop, good restaurant, and about 4 blocks from fishing access to the Big Hole River. If you love to fish, this is for you. If you don't fish, it's still a charming place to stop. Owners are very friendly. - Streamer1023

Small park off I15 in southern Montana. Far enough from I15 that road noise is barely perceptible. Spacious grass sites. Staff friendly. I count about 10 sites. We had a 50amp site(space 3). I think most of the rest are 30 amp. WiFi works better than most parks I've been too. Verizon is there but weak. It is wide open so there is no problem with satellite. The Hitchin' Post restaurant is right next to RV sites. Good food. Great service the night we were there. My wife had the filet and it was great. I would stay here again. - Nat02

This is a brand new Motor Coach Park on Lake Norman. The park is gated and the views of the lake are very nice. Everything was still new and the sites were paved and level. One thing for the park to consider is when full it may be challenging to get larger rigs to some of the lake front sites without scraping the ground going down the ramps from the road to the lake front lots. We did not experience any problem since there were open sites we could use to widen our turns. During our stay we observed some construction which was to later become a deck and bar on the lake. Overall nice place to visit and we may visit again in the future to see how things turn out once the construction is complete. - Gulfjetskir

This was a good campsite for a forest service campground. The service generally keeps the bathrooms at the trailheads and camps clean and well-stocked. However, because Little Joe has so few sites I guess, they didn't clean it or stock it very well. We were out of toilet paper within four days of the maintenance visit. Little Joe is right on the highway, but there was very little noise from traffic. - cactuslady
