An older KOA campground but well cared for. Filled with huge, Cottonwood trees, spacious sites, and a small nice fenced dog park. Laundry, bathrooms & showers are clean. Very pleasant staff and they showed us to our site and pointed out the hook ups and said they would be happy to share and sites and stores in Miles City. Yellowstone River and Tongue River are very close which made Coco happy. Has nice small pool but it was drained after Labor Day! We camped at Miles City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Range Riders Museum Lots of items the time period; axes that Paul Bunyan would use (huge), branding irons, saddles, bridles, ladies dress shoes and of course the Flat Iron. Several outbuildings house wagons, guns, and a schoolhouse and original log home. WalMart, Albertsons fairly nearby across the street from each other.

We stopped here just overnight, after another park had no water and a dog problem. We checked in, and we were guided to our site. The interior roads and sites were gravel. All the connections were easy to locate, with 2 sewer connections, so it was easy to get it all connected. There was no problem getting leveled. Their cable TV was good, which was a good thing, since satellite TV didn't work, due to the trees. The park was clean and the staff was friendly. We would stay there again. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff; led us to our site. Lots of shade trees, trimmed of low hanging branches. Park is easy on, easy off. Low clearance thru town so make sure you use exit 135 off I94, cross new bridge and take immediate left. Only negative was the short site for our 45' coach plus tow vehicle. It was about 5' too short. Fortunately the 5th wheel next to us left early otherwise we'd have been challenged getting out. Great overnight stay; would stay there again. Be sure to use exit # 135 from I-94, the west side of town, due to low clearance in town. This is a pleasant RV park located convenient to the freeway and on the edge of town. Check-in was friendly and efficient with an escort to our site. All sites are gravel, level, FHU, pull-through, under well trimmed shade trees. Length of sites varies. All utilities including WiFi worked well. Bathrooms and laundry were clean. There is a fenced dog park and lots of green space for walking a large dog. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Motorhome.

Neat park, Exceptionally friendly staff from the managers through all the employees. Fast check in, and everyone treated us as valued customers. This is the 4th time we stayed here in a month. Each time the employees were always friendly, knowledgeable, and outstanding!! The park has been improved so much since these people took over and they seem to be working on it all the time. On one of our stays, one of the employees was cleaning our picnic table. That is a first in 14 years of traveling. We always feel welcome. Our spot was level with gravel and some grass in between. There was no litter in or around the park. The cable is outstanding with many channels. We definately will stay here again. With the mangers and employees all so great, it makes a persons stay so comfortable. We haven't found anything wrong in 4 stays and will definately stay here again. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Miles City has some great history to it. Take some time to visit the Montana Bar which is the 2nd oldest bar in Montana. Much of the interior is original and interesting.

Lots of trees (and Elder Box bugs) and grass. Very pretty area. Close to town. Staff was friendly and lots of them (large family run?). Pets are welcome, but dog area was on the other side of the park, long walk from our site, but we had enough space to walk ours. Used the laundry, clean and worked well. Stayed here overnight due to another park in Terry not being satisfactory. CAUTION!!! Must enter town from the west end due to low bridges on the east. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older KOA and could use some updates. The Management is very friendly and helpful and guided us to our site. The park has cable at most of the sites but the cable company keeps saying they are going to pull out. We actually chose a site without cable TV because we wanted to be out in the open to set up our satellite. The sites with cable tv are all tree covered. For this reason we actually paid for a "premium" site. It was well over 100 feet long. We are only a 20 ft travel trailer. It has 2 sewer connections. The utilities are fine and there is a nice patio and table and chairs and a swing for sitting. It also has a very nice fire ring. The problem is that there is a road on top of the dike directly behind our site with cars driving on it kicking up dust. The manager told us there are only about 5 an hour up until about 10pm but it sure seemed like a lot more. Additionally there are trains blowing horns in the middle of the night. Cattle mooing all night long. In the morning the smell of cattle was nearly overwhelming. I don't think we would stay here again unless we got a site clear on the other side of the park. As it is I think we paid a lot for something that I would hardly call premium. On the plus side - the wifi is very good (the park was nearly empty.) Verizon phone and 4G good and the satellite was good too. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed overnight on our way south. Park is basic, a bit dated but well maintained . The sites are gravel & dirt, not a lot of grass. We stayed in a deluxe site with patio which was wonderful!!! All the services worked well and the staff was very friendly. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Fifth Wheel. Only minor downside is that interior roads can be tight for a larger RV if the park is full. We will definitely stay here again if given the chance. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The park owner is friendly, gives great service and a wonderful representative of the park. He has done so much with the park to improve it since he took it over. Facilities are clean, check in is fast, he treated us as valued customers. The parking areas are gravel and fairly level. We had a small patio, and a few new plants. Cable is great, Wi FI was great. We definately will stay here again. The park is being improved all the time since Kevin took over. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

It's in an older run-down part of town but it was very peaceful and well kept. Follow the directions to take the west interstate exit to avoid a low (11') underpass on main street in town.

Nice, clean, no frills park. Small pool but not over chlorinated and better than no pool at all. Hot showers and clean. Giant trees with shade and trimmed so no scraping. We had zero issues, but we don't use WiFi or TV of any sort. Pleasant and easy check-in, and husband had no problems with any hookups. They did a nice job of spacing RVs out so everyone wasn't on top of each other as they came in. Would come back and stay if passing through again. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Motorhome.

Everything was fine. The young men who checked us in were very personable and helpful. It would be a more pleasant park if the grass at the sites was not dead. Very nice walking park nearby.
