Jul 2013 - $37.00
Extremely dusty, poorly maintained campground. Services promised during reservation process (Wi-Fi, level site) were not provided. When we pointed this out, the owned cursed at us and insisted we leave his park without a refund. What a disaster. - Camper Christopher
Aug 2010 - $36.00
OK campground, too many children driving ATVs and golf carts back an forth to the lake. Upper campground is 500 yards down a steep hill to the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful. Many long term campers on site. - combust

We stayed here a couple of nights before heading into Canada. The host said he was the new owner's brother and they had been managing the park for about a year. Lots of permanent rigs from Canada. We had to do a makeshift parking arrangement to fit us and a friend's RV, parked parallel to sites instead of backing in. Hookups worked well and the site was gravel. The owner's brother was very friendly. Thought it was pricey, but you are only two miles to the border crossing. - jtl2
May 2010 - $24.00
What a surprising park. Because it was the start of the season we were the only ones here, but the bathrooms were clean and the owners helpful. Has beautiful views of the mountains. At face value not much, but after a night we realized it to be pleasant. So close to Canada and a nice stop. If you are into big campgrounds with lots of facilities you will be disappointed, but this was a wonderful 2 night stopover. Clean bathrooms and nice heater: it was cold when we stayed! - stripetulip
Sep 2009 - $21.00
A very pleasant, quiet setting with mowed grass spaces. There was no cable TV or Wi-Fi service, however the cell signal was excellent and broad band connection to the internet was good. Staff was very courteous. - Will W

This is a nice little RV park in the back of a motel near the Canadian Border. The mountains all around are beautiful and the golf course between the motel and RV park is beautiful, too. There are rabbits all over the golf course and our dog was going nuts! There is a nice laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. We weren't sure how long the line would be at the border so we wanted to stay somewhere close to go early in the morning. The line was super easy - only 20 minutes or so. There are pot holes coming off the highway but our site was gravel and level. - OurBigAdventure

This is for the RV park. Great views. Quiet. 5:30-6am trucks start up. No dog walk but lots of area on the sides to walk them. Right next a golf course. Easy access to town. 7 miles to Canadian border. Gravel with grass. Dusty. Inexpensive. Long pull-throughs. Ask for sites facing east with no one in front of you for the views. Go pick a site, then tell them which one you want. About 8-9 out of the 25 were workers in town. Nice staff at the Lodge and the Lounge with extensive local knowledge. No WiFi. No amenities....no picnic table, no fire pit, no patio. Go into the Lodge to register. No map of grounds. 5-6 HUGE Potholes at entrance. - We2AreUs
May 2019 - $40.00
Park is behind the motel. No one was there to check in so we just found a spot and paid later. We needed to do laundry and it is very inexpensive. Whites took 2 passes in the dryer. The View is phenomenal, overlooks a valley and you see the snow covered peaks in the distance. - Wandering

This is a small campground conveniently located next to a bar, restaurant and golf course. Presently, there are no showers or restrooms (unless you use the restaurant ones). We went to Eureka, about 10-15 minutes, to use laundry facilities. If you enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking and nature, you will find this area enjoyable. Also, dogs are a big part of this small town. Our experience is that they friendly, but noisy. - Kelsidy

We were staying midweek in June so the place was almost empty. We stayed in Surveyors Campground which has the best sites. They have trees around them and you feel you have a lot of privacy. There are no services in Surveyors, but there are several washrooms that were very conveniently located. You can use your generator between 9-11am and 6-8 pm. There are lots of trails and you can see the endangered painted turtles at the lakes. There is a nice beach that you can walk to as well as a small lake where you could easily paddleboard or kayak (not very far!) - Odyssey58
Jul 2017 - $42.00
There are 3 campgrounds here. Surveyors and Kalispell are both more private, larger sites and shadier. The one I stayed at (Ponderosa) is the only one that has hookups, but the sites there have no shade and little privacy. Each site was a gravel back in with a short fence between them. The sites are wide and long and level. There is 30 and 50 amp electric but no water or sewer onsite. There are multiple water spigots throughout the campgrounds but they do not have threads so get something like a water bandit adapter if you need to fill your tanks from them. The showers were hot and had good pressure and were very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. The lake is great for swimming or boating. There are multiple boat ramps throughout the park. There's lots of walking trails and it's very peaceful and quiet. There is no road noise. Fernie is a great town for shopping and dining. - Jessie1975
