Jun 2018 - $25.00
Beautiful spacious campground. Lots and lots and lots of grass. Pet friendly. $25 per night across the board. Self-serve. We had originally stopped at a different campground. We were not very happy with the host there who was not very friendly. We decided to go a little further and came across this park. No comparison. Doesn't have full hook ups, just power. Does have a dumpsite on site. Several pull through sites. Lots of hiking trails, baseball fields nearby. Great place. We will be back. - Westie mom
Jul 2017 - $25.00
This is a self-service city park campground. You drive in past the ball fields, turn left and you will see a big parking lot camping area followed by some nice pull-thru and back-in sites situated on a tree lined loop. The pull-thru sites are on the right and and are on the side of a big park area in the middle where the restrooms are. The 30 amp electric worked well. No sewer hook-up but there was a dump station. As other reviews noted, water hook-ups are not where you'd expect. - Bay Area Early retirees
Jun 2017 - $25.00
I stayed here two nights in one of the pull through sites while driving through in a 27 foot motorhome with tow car. The park is an open grassy area with a few trees that is located below a dam. There are pull through and back in sites and a weird area that has electric and water on either side of a gravel road but no defined sites. Maybe tent sites??? Back in sites had grills. No fire rings. Most had picnic tables. Water at the pull through sites is indeed a long way away. I used 75 feet of hose to reach. Road is paved for first 2/3rds of loop and then rest is gravel. Sites are gravel with an adjacent grassy area and appeared relatively level. Numbering of sites was erratic to non-existent. There is little shade but first two pull through sites open up to a grassy area with big cottonwood trees. I had one of these sites and it was lovely. $25 a night for tent campers and RVs regardless of whether your site has or doesn't have water. Convenient dump station. I was there on a weekend. There were four or five campers on Friday night and two tent campers on Saturday night. Self serve. Nobody on site but Sheriff did drive through. Very quiet except for train noise which is in the distance and not bothersome. The trailhead of a paved hiking/interpretive trail is about 1/4 mile up Oilfield Avenue. It is a really nice trail but it is a 5 mile loop and there's no way to get back to the park. There is also a short trail that leads up to the top of the dam. There is fishing in the lake behind the dam. Great stopping point for those driving on to West Glacier. I didn't use the restrooms. Verizon service was excellent. - SoloRed

Stayed here for two nights on our way to Cross at Sweetgrass into Canada. Park is an unusual layout of two loops where you park parallel end to end. It actually works well. Campground owners are very nice people. Definitely not a destination campground and most people seem to stay one night. Laundry at park works well. Cable TV service consists of 4 channels. - linnemj
Jul 2018 - $35.00
RV park consists of two loops. A large outer loop with a smaller loop inside the larger one. Sites are parallel to the road. Roads were gravel with broken asphalt pad. Only a 7 or 8 sites occupied. Three or four were long term residents. A big negative was the pet area was infested with PD holes and the dead weeds contained so many burrs that it took me over 30 minutes to comb them out of the dogs leg hair and face hair. All other walks with the dog were limited to the gravel areas. I understand that this country is dry but if the pet area was mowed short it would be useable. - campingdog

Right off the freeway and perfect for a one night stop on our way to Glacier National Park. End-to-end sites with room behind our 45' motor home to leave the trailer attached. - monamonaco

This is a campground located on a hill in front of the Comfort Inn and that is where check in was located. Sites are gravel and not level booth side to side and back to front. Campground has full hook ups and is well kept by the very nice maintenance man. Laundry bathrooms building looks new and there are two washers and two dryers at a reasonable price. Hotel staff allowed us to have package delivered to their front desk. Hotel allows campers to use the pool. There appears to be some long term campers but sites were well kept. We would stop here again. - roadking
Jul 2019 - $42.00
Not sure how the word 'Resort' fits into the name because it sure isn't. BUT, it is a pretty nice little stopover point for travelers headed to or from beautiful Glacier National Park. With just a total of 30 sites (8 pull-thrus, the balance back-ins) it is a small park, but one that is neat, clean and well maintained. Sites and interior roads(big rig friendly) are all gravel; and the sites are level. Pull-thrus, anyway, are long enough that unhooking is not necessary. Laundry and bathroom facilities, too are neat and clean. Wide grass strips separate each site so there's no crowded feeling even when the park is full. There are small trees on each site, but the poor things are so battered by the winds that it'll be a long time before they even approach interfering with satellite antennas. The park sits up on a hill somewhat away from I-15 and busy Hwy 2, so road noise isn't an issue. And if you're there when the wind blows as it did the day we were there (55+mph all afternoon and evening), it'll blow the railroad noise away from the park. Check-in (at the Comfort Inn front desk) was handled quickly and efficiently. So, no, it isn't and a resort, nor a destination place, but it is a great overnight stop. We'd stay there again. - boardman
Jul 2019 - $32.00
Just a gravel parking lot. WIFI OK, ATT and Verizon work. Behind the Best Western Motel, check in there. A bit noisy with the interstate, HWY 2 and the rail yard. Sites level but tight. Concrete picnic table, utilities at back needed 20 ft of sewer hose. No place to park tow vehicle Very windy, a half gale. - agesilaus

Very poor signage! Check in is at the Best Western. Some sights have long term workers. It was not crowded when we were here. It rained and there were lots of puddles. - Debi9
Oct 2018 - $42.00
We stayed at this campground purely out of necessity as we were coming out of bad weather in Canada and needed a place to stop for the night and get warm. We made it to Shelby on gas fumes and stopped at the nearby Pilot station. Seeing the RV's from the highway off ramp, we headed there after fueling up. We didn't begrudge the $42 fee as we needed the hookup and the rest after a long day of driving. If we had activated our Passport America membership prior to checking in, the cost was less than $20 for the night, but we didn't have a chance to take care of that yet. The young woman at the check-in desk of the Best Western was friendly and quickly checked me into a spot. The park was clean and easy to navigate even in the dark. We would happily stay there again if we ever pass through Shelby in the future. - SueJean
Jul 2018 - $18.00
We stayed here just as an overnighter both on the way to Canada and on the way back. I was surprised that there were plenty of empty sites available without a reservation (I tried to call ahead several times during the day, but no one answered or returned calls-- maybe something was wrong with the phone system). The sites had green grass, since I think they run their sprinkler system every night... the grass was soggy. It's a bit noisy since it's right next to the freeway and a railroad yard, but when you're on the road, it's to be expected, right? That's it for the negatives. The place is well kept, has a laundry area, full hookups, a friendly staff in the Best Western where you check in, and the $6 breakfast buffet makes it a very cheap stay combined with the Passport America discount. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. - JKJavelin

This is a great layover point going to from Canada. Great pool, jacuzzi with breakfast as an option for $6.
Nice big pull thru sites.l

Jun 2015 - $35.00
These level gravel sites are located behind the hotel. The utilities worked well but are located at the rear of the sites so have plenty of hose. The hotel is old and looks rough but the area seemed safe. Wi-Fi is available at the office. We would stay here again for an overnight stay. - dandg
Jun 2015 - $35.00
Very clean park, spaces were generous, with lots of grass, and picnic tables Only 2 washers in laundry. Access to motel heated pool and sauna. Park is on a hill, with good view of mountains and little road noise. - BertL

Very friendly and nice staff. Adequate AT&T and Verizon signal along with a strong WIFI signal. Spaces are so close together there was no way we could put out our awning. Right in town, but very quiet. Good 50amp power, water and sewage connections. Two city parks nearby with "No pets allowed" signs posted. Nice for a one night stay. - rolltide19
Sep 2016 - $32.00
Pondera is a pretty casually run park with grass and gravel sites. We used it for an overnight stop after crossing the border from Canada. A grocery store within quick walking distance enabled us to replenish the larder without unhooking our tow vehicle. Cash payment was requested. - The Borgs
Aug 2016 - $25.00
Quiet little RV park on the south side of Conrad, Montana. Place is clean and quiet at night. Laundry room has two washers and driers and like the showers/bathrooms, everything is open 24/7.
Hosts are friendly and accommodating, though they aren't always around. If you pay for 6 nights your 7th night is free: but be sure to pay in advance. I decided to stay longer and hand to wrestle with the hosts to get my 7th night free.
WiFi is satisfactory but not great. Coverage is OK, but during peak hours it crawls along. Better on both counts than many RV parks I have visited. There is a nice sized tree at just about every RV spot. Most are pull throughs. Overall a nice stay. - Johnny Blood

We were a little wary when we drove in, because parts of the campground seem run down and there are several shabby mobile homes on the premises. However, appearances are deceiving and we wound up with a nice level site that was easy to back into, full hookups, clean showers and convenient laundry facility. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. We met several other campers and found them friendly as well. The vibe here is laid back and friendly. There are a fair number of people living here that work in the area. - DaveAndJoyce

Give this Park a try. Super Friendly Owner. The Park is located on a newer Road (and GPS is confused, lol). The Owner came and and picked us up in Town! Good size Lots (level), OK for big rigs. Very knowledgeable of the area and Glacier Park etc. FHU and clean bathrooms and showers. About 45 min scenic drive to Glacier Mountain Park. (Other park in town only water). On a personal note to the owner ... get well hope you're on the mend. - Inge2018
