Aug 2016 - $15.00
Nice USFS campground with two loops. No services at site. All loops and spurs were nice asphalt. Fire ring and picnic table at site. Good cell service available. Very nice campground for USFS, from our experience. Sits right on Clark Fork River. Only downsides were road noise from I-90 and train horns at all hours due to nearby grade crossing. All in all a very nice and cheap place to camp. Camp hosts very friendly and helpful, offering some complimentary firewood. - Stax
Aug 2014 - $5.00
Shady NFS campground with huge, very private paved sites. Some situated on the Clark Fork River. Water spigots throughout the campground. No dump. Good cellular. Only negative is the traffic noise. Price reflects senior pass. Would stay here again. - mockturtle

Sep 2019 - $45.00
Beautiful place. Everyone gets escorted to their site. Most sites are FHU pull thrus. Site length and width varies as does the price for those sites. Utilities worked well. The hookups are positioned in different places in different sites. New area they added this year is more wooded. Satellite reception in that area could be iffy. Miles of walking/mtb trails. Full service coffee bar in the morning. No cable or OTA tv...this is rural MT. Verizon MIFI works well. No fenced dog park. Park rules say dog on leash at all times. There is a huge field where some owners took their dogs off leash to play fly-ball, with zero problems from other dogs/people. Saw deer in that same meadow most evenings. If you have an ATV/UTV, this is a great place to stay and play for a week or more. Occasional train whistles from the tracks over a mile away, same with a little hwy noise closer to the front. This place is so very, very nice and very, very clean. Owners and staff take a lot of pride in this park. - TH travelers
Aug 2019 - $30.00
Newer RV park. Paved and gravel lanes. Gravel sites. Individual showers. Individual bathrooms. Low highway and train noise. Old miner's town at entrance of park and walking trails around and outside of park. Our site was a full hookup, pull through. - DavidML

This is a beautifully maintained park right off of I-90 in St. Regis. The bathrooms and laundry room were impeccably clean and very cute. There are literally miles of hiking paths around the park, which sits on 160 acres. The staff were gracious and hospitable. This seems to be a stop-over park, where folks stay for a night or two on their way somewhere else. There was some freeway noise, but that is a minor price to pay for the convenience of being close to the freeway. We stayed for five nights and explored the area. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely stay at The Nugget RV Park. - laobserver

Aug 2019 - $35.00
Great little park, very neat and trim with amazing beautiful flowers and bear and bird carvings tucked in everywhere. Wonderful dark walk area. The owners are super nice and helpful offering to guide you as you back in. We were tucked in the woods and a warning that there were a lot of mosquitos. This park is very well done, if in the area we would stay again. PS great buffalo burgers at the corner in town and huckleberries and cherries for sale...yum! - RMBRMB
Aug 2019 - $35.00
Nice laundry $1.75 to wash and $1.75 to dry but spotless. We went there to ride the Trail of the Hiawatha (like a lot of others). Surprised the park couldn't help us find where the trail started. Small pool and a fair number of kids. All gravel interior roads so a bit tough to get my exercise. - Debi9
Jul 2019 - $39.00
This is our second stay. Owners are very friendly. Easy parking with a towed vehicle. Their restrooms are extremely clean and well kept just like the rest of park. Easy access and off highway in a beautiful wooded area with lovely flowers and wood beat decorations. This is a 10 plus campground - Fmjmftrv

We stayed here in an Aliner folding trailer for 2 nights in early September while bicycling the Hiawatha. It's not far from the freeway, but quiet and uncrowded. The outhouses are the basic USFS variety and were clean. The sites are level and widely-spaced. There is a nice nature trail from the campground. Because our trailer is small we didn't explore the left-hand loop, which I believe has some spots for larger RV's. I'm sure we'll stay there again. - User2873

Jul 2019 - $1.00
This is a free campground behind a gift shop, restaurant, and bar. Almost all sites are pull-throughs. It is a pretty basic campsite with 50 AMP service now. It looked like new electrical boxes had been installed recently. Nothing fancy but for free it's better than we expected. It's far enough off the interstate to have very little road noise. The gift shop in front has many interesting things and the restaurant food we had was very good and large portions. - Donny G
Jun 2019 - $1.00
I was traveling east on I-90 on a Friday, had went thru Spokane and started looking for a site for the night, got off road 3 times to drive to campgrounds in Idaho, no luck was full at every one. Called a half dozen more and they were all full. Kept driving into Montana and stopped for gas at the 50,000 Siver Dollar Casino and noticed RVs parked in back under trees I asked about their sites and was told they were free, on a first come basis and that some had electric and water and some did not. I walked over and found a site with power and water and pulled into it for the night. It was dark when we got there so I didn't get to see much, left early the next morning. The temperature got down to around 38 degrees that night so it was good to have some electricity. I mention this site to applaud a business that will provide this service for free, you just don't see this much anymore. And yes my wife did make a donation to their slots. They have a motel, restaurant, large gift shop, casino and gas station that has been in the same family for 50 years or so. It is worth the stop even if you don't need the Campground. Easy on/off of I-90. - trav
Aug 2018 - $1.00
Great overnight stop. Plenty of pull through big rig spots, some have power. Weeds and gravel, but level and not bad. Picnic table broke, but it's free here! - Duran
