Sep 2018 - $18.00
We camped 2 nights in campsite #13. At first I thought is was an odd spot for our travel trailer, but it worked out nicely and was very private. We had room for the slide (albeit along the road into the park) but there are only 17 campsites so the traffic was minimal. We had a fire each night, enjoyed the birds and even spotted a moose & calf across the river. We enjoyed the historical/nature trails across the road, went to the L&C Caverns, Madison Buffalo Jump and Norris Hot Springs. We will stay again. AND the vault toilets were especially clean and smelled like cinnamon. Thank you! - GetOutdoors123
Sep 2018 - $17.00
Stayed for one night is Space # 17. It has to be the best space in the CG!!. Site was level and there were no hookups. AT&T service was OK, Sprint was bad. OTA was good. While there was decent shade, we were able to use our portable solar panel during the day. Generator hours were fine. Easy walk to the River and Confluence. Also a 13 mile RT bike trail from the CG into Three Forks. - Davishouse2
Jul 2018 - $24.00
After reading other comments about how roomy their sites were, I'm confused! We have a 19' trailer and just fit into our space (#13) which was actually just a wide spot in the road. It was listed as a 65' pull through, so we expected to have plenty of room, but the door to the rig was one step from the picnic table that was one step from the edge of the site where there is a line of high bushes, making it feel very closed in. The fire ring was two steps away but basically unusable since we were parked right next to it. We had reserved for 4 nights, but sadly decided to leave after two nights. There are no services, so the price is high in our opinion. It's a small campground with sites along one circular road, so the road was 2 feet from our rig where everyone has to drive in, then double back to exit. We wouldn't return even though the area is quite pretty and there is plenty of history to explore. There is a good store in Three Forks, and you can get free WIFI at the library. - sail2blue

Jul 2017 - $40.00
We stayed here only one night on our way through. Park itself was very clean and neat. Only 8 sites that I saw and 3 of them were occupied by long term staters. No bathrooms for the park, no showers or laundry, but quiet and beautiful grass! The sites are all locked (water and electric and entrance to site) and must be unlocked to let you in. Definitely you should have reservations like we did. - overogal
Jun 2017 - $40.00
Great overnight stop, although, if you have business to do it wouldn't be bad for a few more days. The park is very well kept and very convenient since all 9 sites are pull through. Great water pressure, 76 psi. So don't forget your pressure regulator. Check-in is at the grocery store but don't pull into the store's parking lot. It's too small. Park on the side road between the RV park and the fairgrounds. Sites are fairly level, too. I have no problem coming back when I pass this way again. - KD7UCH
Sep 2016 - $40.00
This is an over night camping spot for self contained rigs: there are no showers, toilets, laundry facilities or TV hook ups. This is an large open field around a grocery market where they have put down grass sod, picnic tables, sewer, water and electric connections and airport mix (packed gravel) down for parking pads. There are a few trees around the parking pads but no real shade. There is no TV cable or satellite connection provided, but your own Direct TV satellite connection is very easy. The area is fenced off and quiet. Obviously it is very easy to walk across the lawn to the market if you need anything; they do have a snack bar. We were in site 9 which is the farthest site away from the market and closest to the surrounding neighborhood; there was a chained up dog at a house across the street from our campsite which barked almost non-stop while we were there, it was sad and really quite irritating. Not the RV park's issue, but it did taint our stay. I think the $40.00 overnight charge is a bit steep for what they provide but it was easy and convenient from the highway; it was a pull through site. There is no highway noise. We would stay there again but would ask for a site away from the barking dog. - Hikinjack

Sep 2018 - $38.00
This is a beautiful campground with many trees, so care should be taken in avoiding them while maneuvering rigs. Don't forget overhanging branches with taller units. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Our gravel site was mostly level and just long enough to accommodate our 35' 5er and truck without unhooking. There is significant traffic noise from US 287 but none from I-90. Our rate of $38 plus tax seemed a little pricey for only water and 30 amp electric. WIFI was slow, and no cable. However, we've enjoyed this campground before and will do so again when in the area. - Scott & Nancy
Aug 2018 - $45.00
This is a very nice park that was a former KOA, the owner is making and planning many updates, when we stayed they had just redone the store. There are limited full hook up sites if you can only get water and electric take it; the sites are huge and the trees are beautiful the dump station is easy to access. The staff care about both the owner, who is a very nice guy and the campground. They work very hard to ensure the guests are comfortable. Try the ice cream it's awesome ! Access from the highway is easy and there are lots of things to do and see in the area. We will stay again when in the 3 forks area. - Tfrout
Aug 2018 - $40.00
We stayed here in a 45' motorhome. It was pretty easy to get around in park. - RHOWARD

Jul 2018 - $30.00
Management very nice and helpful. Park is old and I believe only a few sites for short timers. Our 30 amp kept cutting off with just air on and TV on. Looks like they are working to clean up. - SuenDave
Nov 2015 - $45.00
Host was rude and hateful. Facilities were filthy. Campground was dirty with animal feces every where. Train noises all night. - Sherry_C
Jul 2015 - $30.00
This park is by the train tracks so you hear the train all night long.
Its an older park only has 30 amp service so you can not use the air.
Spots are tight so you can not use all your slides if you have a big rig.
You can not use your awing either. The bathrooms were not very clean and most of the washers were out of order.
One of the full time residents had a dog off the leash he was running around pooping every where and the owner did not clean it up. - B mack

Sep 2018 - $30.00
We stayed here after visiting the caverns. It was quiet, except for the coyotes yipping in the distance. Nice big sites surrounded by mountains... The fee included our non-resident fee. I would definitively stay here again. - Thedogsma
Sep 2018 - $26.00
We stayed one night as a stopover on the way to Glacier National Park. It is about 20 miles off route 90 but the scenery along the way is spectacular. Our site had electricity only with potable water available by the nearby dump station. Site required blocks to level. Choose a site along the perimeter for privacy. Sites are spacious but ours was very close to the playground. Several late teens/early twenties kids with filthy mouths were hanging out there which spoiled the otherwise tranquil setting. If we stayed again we would choose a more private site on the perimeter of the park. Our satellite dish, AT&Tcell service, and Verizon cell serviceall worked satisfactorily. Our site and the general area was immaculate. - NE Traveler
Sep 2018 - $39.00
We stayed for 2 nights in our 36' Class A. Utilities included 50A at site, with water fill available at the dump station. The park is very spacious, with plenty of room for the rig and lots of room to play/walk around. We did not interact with staff. OTA was minimal, as was Verizon. Views were beautiful. The fire pit at our site was full of cigarette butts and some trash when we arrived, otherwise site was clean. - Vegas Trippers

Sep 2018 - $34.00
This is about all there is to Cardwell, MT, but it's a cute park with fine amenities. As then name implies, there is a store, candy & ice cream shop, and gas station on site. The campground offers all pull-thrus in a well-kept ring on the outside of a pretty green lawn. Some sites have shady trees. The staff is quite young but very friendly and helpful. The store appeared to have a nice selection of goods, and the candy/ice cream shop is adorable with lots of souvenirs and old-fashioned candies by the pound. We sampled the hand-dipped ice cream, and it was very good. While there was plenty of hot water in the shower, there are no hooks or benches in sight, and the spray head in the larger of the two stalls was wonky. There was a laundry room, but we didn't use it. There is free wifi that worked really well. There isn't much room in the campground to walk, but the nice young lady working the register said it was fine to walk on the neighboring property that had a (mostly) gravel path around two small lakes on one side and the Boulder River on the other. It appeared to be some sort of old RV park/soccer field/community hall, but was deserted when we were there. It made for a nice evening or morning stroll. This park is right on the highway, and traffic noise is heavy. Our price of $34 reflects a veteran discount. This was just an overnight for us, but some folks use it as a jumping off point for Yellowstone and other area attractions. - Chasing Dirt
Jul 2018 - $44.00
Overnight stay, park was clean and well maintained. Great place as you're passing through. We would stay here again. - Doc B
Aug 2017 - $39.00
Tried to reserve a spot but was told it wouldn't be needed. They wouldn't even take my name. No full hook up sites were available when we arrived. I was assigned an unlevel gravel spot. Shower and laundry required a deposit for a key so we didn't use it. Things were ok until the sun went down then the mosquitoes came out to feast. So bad we were held prisoner in our trailer. But being there were no picnic tables or fire pits I guess there wasn't much to do outside anyway. We couldn't go on our evening walk after it cooled down because of the mosquitoes. - OD720

Sep 2016 - $40.00
This is a new little place that has about 8 spaces, that the owner and his wife of the fully supplied food market put in next to their store and the rodeo grounds. It has 30/50 AMP, water, sewer, grass area, picnic table, plenty of room for your pop outs. Spaces are pull thru's so it made it really easy to get in and pull out. - 2nightzrv
Jul 2010 - $25.00
Quiet and peaceful to a point. We stayed here on a monthly basis for several months as it was the cheapest decent option in the area. There is no Wi-Fi, cable etc, but is right by the river. We had a tree shaded lot. Ended up next to rude neighbors that would leave their dog out all the time and prevent us from doing things on our own rig. Finally ended up calling animal control a couple times. Managers said to have talked to the man many times issue finally was resolved as we neared time to leave the park. Nothing is the same for every RV'er in the park. What is good for one is not good for all, seems to be rules made up as they go along. Electric is not grounded and there were many surges that took place and we now have some electrical issues as a result. This is the 2nd park we had ever stayed at so we were still learning what to look for. If I had no other choice I would stay here but on short term basis only and not hooked into electric. No issues with water or sewer. Management changed hands, first managers seemed pretty good and hard working, 2nd set not sure wasn't there long enough to know them well enough. I would look around however and stay elsewhere. They did allow kids and up to 2 pets. We were here in a 5th wheel and had enough parking for 2 pickup trucks. Was approximately 10 miles out of town, but on the way towards West Yellowstone. - moosemama3

Aug 2018 - $80.00
For $80 per night, I was expecting a LOT more than that. First, the good. AT&T service is good. The spot we were in was a nice pull through. There's very little noise in the park. It's about 15 minutes away from Bozeman. However, this place appears to be managed quite poorly. In order to have hot water in their showers, apparently these rocket scientists listened to their maintenance guy who told them to LEAVE ALL SINK FAUCETS RUNNING AT ALL TIMES! Do you know how much water that wastes because they can't properly fix their plumbing? 24 hours a day, this campground is constantly running all of their sinks for a heating issue. They also have an entire row of pull through spots that aren't usable because the hookups don't work. Some poor family with kids pulled in behind us at dusk, and they were turned away when they could have stayed. The WiFi is also terrible and not usable. With the exorbitant rates they are charging, there should be no problem with fixing the issues that clearly need to be addressed or providing decent WiFi. - Anthony D
Jul 2017 - $67.00
We stayed for 4 nights. 11 yr. old Granddaughter was with us. The campground has a new convenient store, game room and gathering area for morning breakfast and passes to the Hot springs all of which are part of your nightly fee. We Enjoyed the Hot Springs for several days. The pools are wonderful and very well maintained. Newly remodeled Hot Springs building offers a coffee bar and other refreshments, 9 hot spring pools, a full gym, saunas, and live music several times a week. This campground and Hot Springs are going to be a destination for visitors coming to the area. - User1994
Jul 2017 - $90.00
This is the most overpriced, under-serviced RV park we have ever stayed in. The office staff are all very young and completely indifferent to doing anything other than taking their overpriced site fees. The cable TV did not work the entire 12 days we were there and nobody would even come check it. The men's bathroom had a broken hand dryer and after telling 3 office staff, nothing was done again for 12 days. There are no weekly rates and in order to get the "discount" that is supposed to be available "stay 7 days, get 1 free" you have to insist to talk to the manager who may or may not call you back. The sites are overgrown and narrow, the picnic tables are old, covered with bird droppings and broken. We made our original reservation far in advance and then added some days about a month before we arrived. No one on the staff could figure out how to arrange the reservation so we had to move sites part way through our stay. There are not many choices in this area but you need a lot of patience and money to stay in this park. - chopper989

$33 for a full service back-in site. This is a small 9 site RV campground with 4 tent sites. As is typical of campgrounds that advertise WiFi, it was not available at our site. One of the staff said that the only internet is by the pool, and the reception there was excellent. There is no cell phone reception. The sign for the campground is midway between the east and west entrances, so approach slowly, lest you pass the entry. In addition to the hot springs pool, there is a takeout restaurant with most seating outside at tables and chairs on the grass, and a small band area where musicians perform Friday, Saturday, & Sunday evenings at 7pm. - driftdiver1
