A small road right off Montana state 200, by Bull River with a boat put in first, then the USFS campground. A very nice hostess showed us the best sites. CG roads paved, sites gravel and of various sizes. One class A was there. Lots of huge trees, flowers blooming. A trail runs by the river. There are flush toilet and vault rest rooms, and the ones I saw were clean. One pavilion. No dump. Several nice water stations. This was a very nice experience CG . - 210jem
Aug 2010 - $10.00
A really beautiful place with great trees and decent separation from your neighbor. Boat ramp into large river inlet with decent fishing. Small boat or belly tube will work great. Not for rigs over 32'. Flush toilets in most areas. Located 2 miles south of Jct of Hwy #56 on Hwy 200. On Kootinai National Forest web site. Golden Passport gives $5 discount. Only 2 pull throughs. - lolomontanaguy

We were looking for a place to stay in the general area to break up a long drive. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a Sunday night in late July in our 25 foot MH. This is a pleasant, small campground, secluded on the shore of the Clark Fork. The sites are quite large and level and most are quite private with trees for shade. There's no wifi. There's usable ATT service and no Verizon service. The host was friendly and helpful. We were aware of trains passing across the river, yet they did not keep us awake. - dsvt

Such a beautifully maintained park. Small but the sites are generous and grassy. Though the laundry has only one washer and one dryer the cost is reasonable and the room, as well as the restroom/shower, was immaculately clean. Wifi was very good most of the time. The only negatives are outside the purview of the owners: Trains and no Verizon signal. Will definitely come again. - mockturtle

This is a small park, but a very nice one. We were quite happy with it, until the evening when we began hearing trains very nearby. There must have been a road crossing close by because they had to keep blowing their horns. This continued throughout the evening and night, and we didn't sleep well at all. We had a great site, the management was delightful and was able to fit us in for an overnight stay. We had our own area that felt secluded, and were wishing we could stay for more days. However, after the "night of the trains" we were glad we were moving on. - Richbald

We stayed at Trout Creek in a 30' 5th wheel. It was a very nice camground. Owners were very helpful. Would definitely stay again. - Joe-diana-1992

Stayed for one week. Dirt/gravel roads and site, level space, utilities worked well, friendly staff. Shaded by trees and mountains. This is a beautiful area, everything I expected when thinking about Montana. - retirednrving

This is a beautiful park located near the Clark Fork River. The sites are so spacious that we couldn't see another rig. The campground hosts were great. We loved staying here and would definitely return. - Layla

We have a big rig so made online reservations easily. We paid non-resident campsite fee. Hosts were very friendly and kept the place nice. The park is right on the river with mountains in view. There is a boat ramp and day use area which can get busy on weekends. Our site was a large pull-through, no hookups with water spigot. It wasn't very level so might be challenging if you don't have automatic leveling system. You do hear road traffic and trains, but did not bother us. We got Verizon service and a few tv stations with our antenna. We liked our stay and would return. - mohocamper
Sep 2015 - $28.00
Very small state campground with 18 sites and no services. Some sites were very large and there was decent separation between sites. There is a train track nearby and a road, and there was some road noise and train noise. Dense tree cover, which is not optimal for solar, and the toilets are pit toilets. $28 a night when we stayed there. They have shelters and a group tent camping areas, but charge premium prices for them. It is on a beautiful river with a boat dock and there was a camp host who politely greeted us when we arrived, but the campground had a feeling of neglect. Close to a small town with some stores, but ATT and Verizon coverage was very weak. - Lee and Trace

We have stayed at this park for 3 years and loved this park. It was our favorite place to camp. It was a nice, peaceful, quiet, and relaxing park. Until the cut down all of the trees. It just wasn't the same. The news camp host were not very friendly. We weren't very happy the last time we stayed. We will not be going back. We will be looking for another campground in the area. - Chrissy DeGon
Jul 2017 - $11.00
Avista Power Company (own the dams on the Clark Fork River) owns this RV Park. Be aware there is a large company mentality there. Example: The RV campers are NOT allowed to put down carpet in front of their door but the camp host can build a deck in front of his door. We have been attacked by large dogs also. Rental rate is $365/mo. but next year we have been told it will be $450/mo. And they do require all money be paid BEFORE your stay at Reserve America NOT at the office. If you are not a fisherman there is really nothing to do in and around Noxon, MT in the summer. - full-timer2
Aug 2011 - $25.00
The park is under new management. They are very friendly people, and very helpful. We had a problem with one of the jacks and immediately 2 men helped us and fixed the problem. We were there in a weekend and it was very quiet. The grassy area are still uneven but the management told us they are going to fix that this winter. They also are going to make more RV sites. It is absolutely worth stopping there. - elegast
