This is a city park with a lake you can fish. There are 8 sites on asphalt for that entire area with no shade. Then there are 3 sites that are on concrete pads that include patios. These 3 sites have short stretches of gravel leading to the pads, there is also some shade for these spots. These spots are numbered 9, 10, And 11. The park is at the west end of 25th Street, it runs right into the park. The interior roads are all asphalt. There is a cabin available for rent at $30.00 for 8:00 am - 4:00 pm OR 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm / $50.00 for all day. Call 402.245.2851 to reserve. The park has a playgrounds, shelter, walking path around the lake, dog run, frisbee golf and volley ball courts. There is a golf course west of town. One drawback is the railroad that is on the opposite side of the lake, but it didn't bother us. There are some trains tho. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Quiet park and only $20 a night at the end of West 25th St. There are 11 sites; 3 pull thru on the left side and 8 back ins on the right side. The back in sites are in an asphalt parking lot with the utility connections at the rear of the site. There is also a grill at ground level behind the site. I was in Site 2. There is no threaded connection for the sewer and the sewer post is several inches above ground. The 50 amp circuit popped the breaker twice within 40 minutes of my plugging in. I was able to plug into the 50 amp on Site 1 and had no further problems. I called the city office and reported the issue, so hopefully it will get fixed. 2 great big fenced dog play areas, each with a bag dispenser and trash can. I really liked that my dog could run as much as he wanted. Just make sure you are close enough to find you dog's droppings in the grass. It is not fair to other dog owners if you leave your dog's poop behind. Fishing lake is a stone's throw from the sites. Also a walking path with benches around the little lake. It would be a good idea to make a reservation during the summer. I did not have one, but luckily there was plenty of open sites, being so late in September, I guess. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very well maintained city park. We stayed in one of the three pull-thru sites. There is a small lake in the park with a walking trail around it. No wifi and T-Mobile wouldn't connect. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A hidden gem of a city park. We travel from CA to ME and I know a clean and value when I see it. They do take reservations which I didn't know, but was able to get a pull thru for three nights Would love to take this park with me on my travels from coast to coast. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Motorhome.

They have 3 pull through sites and 9 back in sites in a parking lot - reasonably spaced - all facing the pretty lake. Full hookups for $15 is not bad. Very clean. good water pressure. decent internet on AT&T using my own box. Picked up 3 local tv stations, 2 radio stations. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Paved sites next to a small lake with bike path. Located near a residential area. We didn't look for the pull through sites but there are 8 sites in this area with 50amp, water, and sewer. Sites are approximately 32 by 25 feet. For larger rigs the rear end can overhang over the grass. Playground. Without hookup the price is $8.50. Some sites have the sewer hookup on the passenger side of the vehicle. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There are three sites with 50 amp, which are also pull-through. The other sites are 30 amp with shared sewer. These sites are also a bit shorter but you could put a 40' rig on them with overhang on the grass. Nice municipal camping area in a nice looking neighborhood. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here on an overnight stay. It was a nice park and the hookups worked. We were uncertain what the protocol was, as the park isn't staffed. Some friendly neighbors were able to direct us to the payment box on the side of the caretakers facility. The caretaker came around frequently and even stopped in to make sure we knew there was a severe storm warning. It was a nice stop. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Pretty little spot on a lake with a nice grassed area and trees. Camp kitchen, picnic shelter, sand volleyball and fishing in the lake. This is just a parking lot with services but it is an inexpensive place to overnight with pleasant surroundings. Directions: Going through town go west on 25th Street to the end. We camped at Stanton Lake City Campground in a Motorhome.
