We stayed in this campground for an overnight stay on our way into Utah. We were guided into our camping spot, a very long pull-through. We only used the 30 amp electricity and it worked fine. Gravel pads and roads but in good shape, even with it being a very rainy stretch of weather. OK spacing between sites. - MNEscapeFrozenTundra

We used this park as an overnight stop to and from South Dakota. The sites are long and narrow. You are guided to your site. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The laundry is clean and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again and may use it for a layover too. - MelindaK

We chose this campground for a several night stay so we could experience Western Nebraska scenery and history and to unwind after several weeks on the road. It's a sweet campground, well maintained, and well used for one-night stays. We were guided to our level, long, narrow, gravel pull-through which included well-placed water. electric, and sewer hookups and cable tv (which was accessed by the supplied remote). Verizon and ATT worked well and WiFi was semi functional. There was a nice, well-maintained pool and gravel internal roads were good. Easy access to grocery store and gas. This is not a destination park, but was fine for what we wanted. We would stay there again if in the area. - Janau NC

This is a P/A park, but when we arrived they said they would not accept it at this time, but did give us the GS discount. The site was level. The electric hook up is way towards the front while the sewer is in the rear, so you may have to play a little forward/reverse to make sure your have enough connections. The staff was very helpful and on site. Antenna was not too good. It is a very easy on/off interstate. The site are arranged front/rear so your neighbor will be close. all the sites are on gravel and it did get a little dusty when we were there. - Al and Anne-Marie

Very nice owners, and I know they are trying hard. But, there was no cable TV (and our antenna only received 4 stations...all were NET). Sites are very close together, took some jockeying to not have our door open right across from our neighbor's door. Add in two picnic tables, and there wasn't a lot of walking around space. Given its close proximity to a truck stop (lots of Jake braking going on all night) and I-80, this was the noisiest RV park we've ever stayed in. Required earplugs in order to sleep! - HuskerMama

This is a gravel parking lot with full hookups. It's one of those parks where they have you parking canopy to canopy. We were just overnighting so it didn't matter but, if someone was next to me and we both wanted to use our canopies we would have had to take turns. Easy to navigate due to there not being many campers so I could cut through other sites but if it was full I'm not sure I could have made the turn into my space. I have 41' class A. Staff was friendly and the place was nice but, I'll probably try somewhere else next time just because i'm not sure how "big rig friendly" it would be if it had a lot of campers in there. - Finn

I was the only camper there. I was surprised by that. It is on a working farm. The owner was away when I arrived but left a note to pick a spot. She returned later and was very nice. - Michael_T

The grassy sites were level with a picnic table. They are buddy sites, but it wasn't crowded so we didn't share with another rig. It is a working farm with very helpful owners. The WiFi was very good as well as ATT service. Convenient on/off of I-80. Great for an overnight stop, we would definitely stay there again. - Traveler23

The owner was very funny and friendly on the phone when I made a reservation for the 2017 solar eclipse (Lake McConaughy, Ogalalla, and North Platte were all completely booked). His mother was very helpful and welcoming when I checked in. The two spots with dedicated fire pits were taken, but because I requested one on the phone, The owners, brought us a new portable fire pit to our site, where they had set up a picnic table and chairs. We left for North Platte for the day and when we got back they had brought us a huge pile of wood to burn!!! They all called us by our names while we were there. They brought out freshly baked cookies for us that night. Then, later, they came back with some frozen elk meat to send us home with!!! In the morning they brought out freshly baked cinnamon rolls for the entire camp!! I normally hate camping so close the interstate, and honestly I'll never really have a reason to ever stay in Big Springs again... But the McGreer Family is amazing!!!!!! Extremely friendly! Incredible service! Their hospitality and graciousness toward my family has ensured that we will DEFINITELY be going out of our way to stay here again!! - David Bragg
