Very nice park that is well maintained and a well oiled family run business. We had an RV issue on late Friday afternoon on I-80 and needed a place until Monday. We arrived at about 5:15 PM on Friday and they were very busy with check-ins and full, yet they found a place for us. They were very pleasant and assisted us in getting into one of their "overflow" spaces with just electric, but we were very thankful. The park itself is very nicely laid out and you can tell it would be a place kids would bug their parents to take them! We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Camp A Way is a really nice park surrounded by and among mature trees with a creek running on one side. The main road is asphalt and the other roads and all of the pads are gravel. All roads are easy to navigate and the sites are nice and long. We had a pull through site, but they also have back in sites available. The utilities were easy to access and worked great. Some sites had lovely patios with porch-type swings; our site had a picnic table and fire pit. There are some spaces that appeared to be monthly sites, but that did not take away from the park at all. And even though this park is right off the highway, the noise level was negligible. We had coverage on both Verizon and AT&T and used our satellite for TV coverage. However, the cost of the site includes cable should you prefer. There were a number of activities available for kids, playscape, pool, oversized chess board, arcade/game room, and what looked like a water park feature. I used the laundry room and it and the machines were clean and in great working order. We camped at Camp A Way in a Fifth Wheel.

Loved this park. Lots of shade, level sites, tiered sites. Mostly paved roads. Gravel sites with grass between spaces.
Very large dog park for big dogs as well as a smaller dog park area for little dogs. Great staff. Clean restrooms (a little old, but nice). Great laundry room. Lincoln is a lovely city and the park isn’t very far from things to do.
Biggest con: Lots of road noise. Very close to interstate. However, the park is worth staying...would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp A Way in a Fifth Wheel.

Loved the environment here. CampAWay is set up very well. It's close to I-80 but the noise was minimal with all the barrier trees etc. We had no problem driving thru the park or setting up. We are a wide set-up when we open sliders and all was just fine. The park had lots of mature trees and made it really nice. Also they have a great dog park! Because I work online, it is important that I can get on the internet. My verizon worked great and so does the parks wifi. We will stay here again if ever in the area. We camped at Camp A Way in a Fifth Wheel.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy on and off to I80. Showers and WiFi was good. Large dog park with bags was great and much improved from last stay. Cable with 70 channels was good therefore did not use our satellite. Good overnight stop. We camped at Camp A Way in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice well maintained park. Large dog run, beautiful trees and grass. Large site. Entrance to the park from main road was a challenge. If someone is coming out when you are going in, well, that is a challenge! We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Expensive but very nice Rv park! Long, level, wide gravel sites. FHU-50 amp. Cable. Wifi. Hot tub! Pool. Near freeway but our site near the center of the park was quiet. A friend stayed near the outer part and complained of road noise. Lots of kid activities. Would be a fun family place. We were able to stay only one night; would have enjoyed staying longer. Would stay here again as long as could have a site near the office. We camped at Camp A Way in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park right in the city off I80 - we had a large pull through full hook up site. Lots to do for kids at the park. Has the worlds largest campground dog park that our dog loved. Yes there is noise from the freeway - laundry room was very clean. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Campsite was fine, Wi-Fi was strong and reasonably fast. Cable had 63 channels, but picture was not the best. The highway noise, however, was awful. At 12:30 am it is still very loud. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Because of the location we did not have very high expectations. The interstate noise is present but not unbearable. This is a nice park by any standards and can see how it would be even better in the summer months. Wifi was strong enough to use during the day and Verizon and At&t signals were good. We arrived during a snow storm and had tree branches falling everywhere as we set up. They had them all cleaned up the next day. Our site was spacious and level enough front to back but way off side to side. Utilities worked well and the water pressure was higher than most other parks we stay at. We camped at Camp A Way in a Fifth Wheel.

$65 is very excessive for October, with lots of empty sites. We paid $10 extra for a deluxe site with concrete patio and deluxe seats. Park was clean and it looks like in the summer it's a good choice for families. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

This campground is like a hidden gem. The staff is excellent and very happy to help. We needed to stay for a few days to have a repair taken care of and they were able to accommodate us with two different sites. We stayed in D7 for one night until the other site became available the next day. D7 is one of their Ultra Sites. It's a gravel pull through that was very easy to access. There is a beautiful paved patio with table and 4 chairs, a swing, fire ring and grill. There are lots of trees, but we were able to use our satellite in this location. Cable is available also. We also stayed in D30 which is a Deluxe Back-in site. This site is also gravel and included a picnic table and fire ring. It was plenty long and wide enough for our 42' motorhome. Here again there are trees all around, but we were able to use our satellite for TV. There is a large dog park with two separate sections and lots of room to let the pups run. We liked Camp A Way very much and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.
