Campsite was fine, Wi-Fi was strong and reasonably fast. Cable had 63 channels, but picture was not the best. The highway noise, however, was awful. At 12:30 am it is still very loud. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Because of the location we did not have very high expectations. The interstate noise is present but not unbearable. This is a nice park by any standards and can see how it would be even better in the summer months. Wifi was strong enough to use during the day and Verizon and At&t signals were good. We arrived during a snow storm and had tree branches falling everywhere as we set up. They had them all cleaned up the next day. Our site was spacious and level enough front to back but way off side to side. Utilities worked well and the water pressure was higher than most other parks we stay at. We camped at Camp A Way in a Fifth Wheel.

$65 is very excessive for October, with lots of empty sites. We paid $10 extra for a deluxe site with concrete patio and deluxe seats. Park was clean and it looks like in the summer it's a good choice for families. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

This campground is like a hidden gem. The staff is excellent and very happy to help. We needed to stay for a few days to have a repair taken care of and they were able to accommodate us with two different sites. We stayed in D7 for one night until the other site became available the next day. D7 is one of their Ultra Sites. It's a gravel pull through that was very easy to access. There is a beautiful paved patio with table and 4 chairs, a swing, fire ring and grill. There are lots of trees, but we were able to use our satellite in this location. Cable is available also. We also stayed in D30 which is a Deluxe Back-in site. This site is also gravel and included a picnic table and fire ring. It was plenty long and wide enough for our 42' motorhome. Here again there are trees all around, but we were able to use our satellite for TV. There is a large dog park with two separate sections and lots of room to let the pups run. We liked Camp A Way very much and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this park for 4 nights and we like the RV park, except the freeway noise is a little much and I had to wear ear plugs every night. When I asked the front desk about the internet, I was told that there are towers throughout the park, which would mean to me that we would have excellent internet, however, the internet was almost none existent. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

What a charming campground! Staff is friendly and check-in is quick. They offer all sorts of entertainment for children - a water slide, prospecting for gems and a cute little barrel train. Every Saturday morning there is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. The park is large and shady and we were very comfortable there. We would be happy to stay here again. While we do not travel with pets of kids, this campground has pretty much everything parents and pet owner could ask for. It is conveniently located just off I-80 and the signage is excellent. You just need to be careful when turning down Campground Circle as it is not appear to be wide enough for two RVs to pass one another. However, this should not discourage anyone. The staff was incredible and the campground immaculate. Don't miss out on ordering a pizza which the staff will cook (you can bring your own toppings) and then deliver to your site. The only negative we saw was the price, which we thought was a bit pricey. That said, we'd plan to stay there again if passing through Lincoln. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Nice campground. Friendly staff. Service and wifi good. It was very hot when we were there, and the showers, while clean, were like a sauna. Came out as sweaty as we went in. The community room was also extremely hot. We camped at Camp A Way in a Travel Trailer.

Nice "campground-like" location. Noisy most of the day and into the night (until around 2-5am) because the park is right next to I-80 and 180 so LOTS of semis going by. Wonderful welcoming service at the counter and an escort to the site...which I always appreciate. We did not like our first spot they placed us in so I asked to be changed and they did it without any hesitation. Lots of families and children for the weekend..not bad. Only one bathroom and showers for the entire park and it's way away from the people that need it most, the tenters. Pool was small but nice. Hot tub was not hot and very small. We used it before anyone had shown up. Cigarette butts in our firepit...yuk. Site was level. WiFi worked fine. Close to shopping and downtown sites. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Camp A Way is a home-away-from-home for us. We have relatives in Lincoln and stop for several days each fall heading south and each spring heading north. Each year we see some improvement to the park. It is tidy and nicely landscaped. Several things are offered for children and this year they are adding a trampoline with safety fence. Owners/office staff are very helpful and friendly. Their pizza is good and they offer some food and toy items in the office. Laundry is clean and all machines work. The park is located in town just off the interstate, but noise is not bad, and is convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. (est. 1 mile through town). Downtown is 5 minutes away on the interstate. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

If you want to camp in Lincoln, you probably need to pay the piper with the 17% tax. Fortunately winter rates were in effect which reduced the cost by $12 per night. Still many of the sites were occupied by folks who leave their coaches for home football games. On the positive side, the park is attractive with trees, slopes and sweeping roads. The site we were in had lightening fast wifi. All other utilities including cable tv worked good. Showers were hot and we had a close site. The dog park is enormous. The assigned pull-thru was of adequate length. The gravel pad was mostly level. The website stated $46 for a premium. The actual charge was $46.99. There was a $4.70 Good Sam discount. Taxes were $7. Some road noise but not an issue. Picnic table and fire pit. Trees are nice for shade in the summer but slide covers will catch a lot of leaves now. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.
