Not much to do in north Platt. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed at Holiday RV Park in North Platte Nebraska for one night just traveling through. Actual price was $27.20 plus tax because we paid cash. Helpful office staff, easy to navigate roads and site was fairly level with easy access to water and electric connection. Lots of campers staying just for the night. Restrooms are very old and in need of renovation. Not as clean as they could be but adequate. Nice pool area and a couple of children’s play areas. Has laundry but did not use. Restaurants close by. Cable TV available and over the air channels are plentiful. They have Wi-Fi but we did not connect as most parks are way too slow. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was a nice one night stop, but I will say our pull-thru spot was short and tight. But once we jockeyed into position it was a relaxing park with full hook-ups and lots of shade. My Verizon mifi worked very well for my work. The site barely fit our 5th wheel of 42 feet and we had a hard time getting our truck off the driveway. They have a pool and it looked really nice even though we did not use it. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I spent one night here. It is a good stop for an overnight. You can hear the road noise, but it's not that bad, relatively speaking. The pool, cable, and Wi-Fi were available, although I used none of the above. The sites are close together. I stayed in a spot directly adjacent to the pool. There were plenty of shady trees to keep the sun off. Overall, I would stay here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Second or third time here for an overnight stay. Close to I-80. Easy in and out with mostly pull through FHU sites. Good wifi. Satellite service was perfect even with shade trees. We were in the back row on the west side. Site 81. Staff is excellent, as always. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spent two nights here, and had been looking forward to the stop as this campgrounds had good reviews, but was very disappointed. Sites were so close together that you can hardly walk between rigs. Long term campers on out ring had larger sites. Pet run was next to busy access road. Roads were narrow, just as pull through site was narrow. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just off I-80 this campground attracts campers by the sheer convenience of being near the highway. There is highway noise but since it is hot out we have our windows closed and air on so no noise. Friendly staff check in and a quick response to an electrical problem at our box which was resolved. Almost all sites are pull through and FHU. Our site was nicely level. Only a few perimeter sites are back in. Mature trees give shade most of the day and most sites. A few sit in the sun. Clean pool looks good and there is a nice size playground for children. Wifi was excellent. Bathrooms are clean and convenient for all sites. Our site was gravel and level with a small amount of grass under the picnic table. Dirt around sides could be a mud problem if it were to rain. No campfires in this campground. Over all a great place to stop on your way west or east. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just off I-90. Mature park with gravel roads and closely spaced sites that are just big enough for today's larger rigs but don't give much extra room after slides and awnings are extended. Center of park is mostly shaded pull-thrus focused on overnight and shorts stays. Perimeter seemed to have back-in long term residents. All FHU utilities worked fine, but trees blocked sat reception. There is a small pool, but it was locked. Didn't use the shower/bathhouse. Stayed 4 nights to explore local area over Memorial Day weekend. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

N. Platte is a small rail/cattle town whose main claim to fame is the home to Buffalo Bill Cody. His home, Scouts Rest, is a nicely preserved state park. Large touristy Wild Bill Trading Post within walking distance (if you must). Cool old time diner next door (Penny's) with solid midwestern large portions. Stuhr Pioneer museum is worth a visit with a nice indoor museum and "live" recreated pioneer town complete with residents. Went to the local rodeo to watch a bull riding competition. Super nice patriotic crowd. Pro-tip...do NOT wear anything but jeans and T-shirt if you want to blend. Actually some "wine tasting" in the area at Feather River Winery although you seriously need a 4x4 to traverse the 2 mile dirt road if there has been any rain.

We look at the reviews before decicing on what [ark to stop at for the night and this park has good reviews. Once assigned our site, you can see why. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Site was plenty long enough for our rig and tow car. It is gravel, but level and clean with mowed grass in between sites. Wifi was excellent, cable tv had many clear stations to pick from. Dog run area was clean and bags at the pick up station. If your looking for a great park when in this area, this is the one to stay at. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved this park...so green with big trees and well maintained sites. Close to highway, but noise was a distant hum...no problem. Rate was $40/night for long gravel pull-through (level) and we received a 5% discount for paying by check!. We really enjoyed everything about this park, about North Platt and wished we'd reserved for more than just 2 nights. Cable was amazing - 60 channels! Seasonal rigs are parked around the perimeter and some of these folks go all out making their sites beautiful. Lots of place to walk dogs, but no fenced in dog run. They've got plenty of room, but maybe don't realize how important it is to use who have happy exuberant fur babies. Pool looked inviting and kids playground was right out of the 50s...nostalgic memories of summer fun as a kid. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed overnight in 40 ft mh with slides. Decent spots with gravel roads and spots. Grass around level sites. Pool was open but we didnt use it. Water pressure good with stable electric and good cable but fuzzy picture. Close to freeway with some noise but tolerable. Good access to this park. Good for overnight stay, will return. Used good sam for 10% discount and 5 % for cash. Used 30 amp since did not need 50 amp service. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.
