The owners are wonderful, a basic park that is spotless, great view of the Golf Course just across he park, the Willows restaurant which they recommended is also outstanding they make everything from scratch, so if they are busy you may have to wait a little but it is well worth it, the French Onion soup and the Chicken Fried Steak are a 10. Will stay here again. - tazman1953

We have been across the country and you will not find a cleaner RV Park like this one from Kentucky to Ca. In the Midwest. When I say there are clean showers they are clean, lights automatically go on when you walk in and heated floors in the bathroom showers. No graffiti, no dirty trash cans, no smelly toilets and the price is super. The washers and dryers work and the management was super when I called him after 7:30pm. The WiFi worked and we were thrilled to find an exceptional well cared for Park. - Toby Ross

Stayed at this great little roadside campground on our way home from Yellowstone. Tucked away behind a hotel, it can be easy to miss. Never saw the owner but arrangements were easily made by phone and the envelope drop. Very clean, very neatly kept. Sites paved and level and all services in great order. Just a fantastic park for a quick pass-through stop. - VW_Vista

We went there because of the previous comments made on this CG. At first we were very disappointed. The Garmin took us there on a road that looked like a path through a corn field with no where to turn around. There is infact a better route just up the road. The campground is grass sites and with rain it could be pretty bad with evidence of mud thru-out, but the electricity is good, it is very quiet and after walking around we found it to be VERY interesting. There was no one around but there were instructions to pick a site and someone would be around in the morning. Indeed, that person was the most pleasant and informative elderly lady who drove me to the office so I could pay by CC. Besides the roller rink (which still operates) and a church (still has services on Sundays and many weddings), there is an old hotel, miniature golf and an old mineral springs. This place is way out in the country and not easy to find but it is a gem that I would highly recommend you visit. - rhianna

Beautiful campground. Great hosts. Sites are close together at the campground but only one 50 amp outlet per two sites, other site has to use 30 amp on shared electric box. No to limited TV reception. Has roller rink, miniature golf, snack bar on weekends. Hotel and camping cabins available for rent as well as two halls. Out of the way location, but very, very quiet. A great place to go for the way camping used to be. - oldelzydog

According to the owner this is the oldest campground in Kansas and dates from 1886. There are many huge Sycamore trees which provide the sites with lots of shade. The sites on the West side where we stayed are not well marked but they are all grassy. There are more sites behind the roller rink which seem to be more popular. There are many things for children to do such as roller skating in the enclosed rink, and miniature golf. The buildings are all interesting as is the hotel and the Spring. We would definitely stay there again. - June from Savann ahb

Very nice campground. Unfortunately, no dump. We filled our tanks from campground water tap. Sites were very level, gravel, campground looks new, not worn out. Friendly greeting from Campground host, very nice lake for canoe/kayak. Heard wild Turkeys most of the evening. Electric hook up worked fine. If you have Nebraska Park sticker, cost would only be $15. $4 entry otherwise additional. Shade trees are pretty young, will be a while before they shade your camping. We will mark this as a favorite stop when driving on US 34. You can get within 75 ft of shore on lake, but not right on lake. - DocColorado
