May 2015 - $7.00
Psst, don't tell anyone about this place; it's our secret. I found it in Escapees Day's End. The 30 Amp electrical service is more than adequate for our 50 Amp RV running only one air conditioner. The park is beautiful. There is potable water to fill your tank and a real nicely designed dump station. We seek out these small city campgrounds spotted around the country. The area has received an incredible amount of rainfall so there was some muddy spots in the park. Our parking surface was crushed limestone and could stand the addition of more but what do you want for $7 per night. We definitely would come here again. Thank you Seward for a great experience. - Kent and Margaret
Aug 2014 - $7.00
$7 is "Senior" rate. Normal is $10. Basic but nice place for overnight or no frills camping. 14 night max. Dump station available and included in fee. Train is 100 yards away and there are two or three a night. Since tracks go through town they do use horn for grade crossing. "City Park" layout with lots of mowed grass and small playground available. GPS N40.90147° W97.09640° Gravel sites are level but all are back-in. No pull-throughs. I would rate this a 9 for basic overnight stay - Tireman9

Sites are level with 30 amp service only. We had no AT&T service any where in the park. The staff at check in were not the best in regards to explaining are giving a map of the sites in the campground. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome. - illini777
Oct 2017 - $26.00
We camped in the South Shore campground site 104 which was full hook-up. It included a aluminum canopy and was steps from the shower house. The site was on a hill overlooking the large lake. Handy fire ring and easy back in. Short walk down the hill to the beach and playground. Really friendly camp hosts. Was really windy the two night we stayed but will definitely be back! - Rudgonzo
Nov 2015 - $45.00
Very clean and nice place to stay, I'm here for work and after the last campground this is like a resort. Would recommend to everyone, they have a nice lake here as well. Sites are clean, come with table and fire pit and down the way is a shower bath house. - Mississippifam

Nov 2018 - $23.00
Water & dump station closed for the year. No water to be found anywhere. Only 4-5 others camping. Lake was scenic, but not a good value for a one night stay over. $15 out of state for electric site plus $8 per night permit. - CJVJn1Doug
Jun 2018 - $20.00
Pawnee State Park is my favorite State Park in Nebraska. Sites are large and well-spaced. Every site has at least partial shade. There are lots of paths for walking your dog or just exploring the park. The $20 a night fee does not include the $6 daily park entrance fee. The park gets a lot of use, but the sites have lots of grass and not much dirt. That really helps when it rains. Verizon MiFi and Dish satellite worked well, but AT& T phone service was hit and miss. - Bobbi1948
May 2018 - $26.00
All sites are paved. Long enough to stay hitched. Quiet. Close to the lake. - Medic97

Jul 2017 - $10.00
Lovely little campsite paid through donations. Electrical on site. Great place for camping and only a couple miles away from I-80. Was greeted by the ex-mayor on a golf cart. Light sleepers in a tent beware, cows are grazing not too far away from the baseball diamond. Cowbells and some mooing may wake you up. - calvin3060
Apr 2016 - $10.00
We were greeted by a nice guy on a bicycle riding towards us in the middle of the street. He informed us that the resent rains had soaked the campground and he was afraid if we tried to get in we would get stuck. He invited us to park across the street from the campground next to his home in the American Legion parking lot. The grass in the park had been newly planted the fall before and was still in a growing stage. The park itself is very nice and quiet. Electricity is available and for an over night it's a great place to stay for a donation. The surrounding village is a nice, friendly community to just stroll around and meet the residents. - chamaman
Aug 2014 - $10.00
This town was devastated by a tornado spring of 2014 and has come back amazingly. The campground now has 50 amp service but the pool and tennis court are currently closed. We did not use the restrooms but they are functional and were cleaned the morning we were there. The grounds and each site are on well maintained grass. Even though there was a lot of rain during the night, the sites were high enough to stay dry. We would recommend staying here as a great overnight spot. Payments are by donation - they need it. - Summer Minnesotan

Sep 2018 - $39.00
A nice little gem. Just off I/80 so there is some noise but not bad. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a manicured grass dog run about 60' x 60' almost enough for our GSD to get to full speed. It is very nicely kept like the rest of the campground. The sites are pretty level, long and wide. - piclif
Aug 2018 - $39.00
Great little overnight stop. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Called from about 90 miles away for a site. They took name and said they would be in the office when we arrived. Owners live on site. Warm welcome and after paying were led to site. Nicely treed campground but we were assigned a site without for our satellite dish. Pool looked nice. Easy on off the interstate. Trash pickup with a bag provided - very nice touch!! Definitely will stay again if in the area!! - Trvl1
Aug 2018 - $43.00
This is a typical over priced CG. While the CG was ok, it was not worth what I paid. My jacks went into the ground & I had to put boards under thm. Sites need to have more gravel on them to stop the mud from seeping through. Office staff was good as were the utilities. Good Satellite & AT&T Cell and LTE data. - Lugnuts

Oct 2018 - $55.00
Campsite was fine, Wi-Fi was strong and reasonably fast. Cable had 63 channels, but picture was not the best. The highway noise, however, was awful. At 12:30 am it is still very loud. - John McK
Oct 2018 - $42.00
Because of the location we did not have very high expectations. The interstate noise is present but not unbearable. This is a nice park by any standards and can see how it would be even better in the summer months. Wifi was strong enough to use during the day and Verizon and At&t signals were good. We arrived during a snow storm and had tree branches falling everywhere as we set up. They had them all cleaned up the next day. Our site was spacious and level enough front to back but way off side to side. Utilities worked well and the water pressure was higher than most other parks we stay at. - Ghettomedic
Oct 2018 - $65.00
$65 is very excessive for October, with lots of empty sites. We paid $10 extra for a deluxe site with concrete patio and deluxe seats. Park was clean and it looks like in the summer it's a good choice for families. - JeffK

To avoid 3 ton-limit bridge, from Hwy 33, go North on Arizona, right on 13th, left on Idaho (gravel) which becomes Rodeo on the north side of park. Turn right on Izaak Walton and left on Old Settlers. Sites are on the right just after shower house. Water and dump available. Park/fairgrounds gets lots of use and there is train noise at night, but we found our stay very pleasant. - bjandjim

I am not sure of the total sites since I didn't count them while we were there. The campground is not directly off the interstate. Campground has full hookups and paved sites. There are 4 sites with travel trailers that appear to be permanent. Great place to walk pets and good location to tour Lincoln and visit friends who live in or around Lincoln. - petpeople
