This is one of our favorite city campgrounds. We stop here whenever we are in the area. Sites are spacious and the whole complex is very well maintained. The only caveat is that the park is full on weekends when there is either a softball or soccer tournament going on. - Bobbi1948

This is a daily rate. You are limited to a four day stay. Watch for the small brown signs that say “Recreation Complex”. The roads and sites are gravel with some pull-through and some back-in. Tent camping is free. We had 50amp service and excellent water pressure. There is a dump station. There are train tracks close by and an occasional train does go by. Both Sprint and Verizon worked OK; Sprint was roaming. If you want to talk to someone about staying here, you will need to call the Auburn City Hall. The police do an occasional drive-thru. We’ve never felt threatened here. - B&H

What a hidden gem! Quiet, dark, peaceful. We were the only ones there for two nights and had the whole place to ourselves. Town is about two miles away. Several geocaches in the area. Walked over to watch soccer practice one night. Self-pay; cash only. Very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here in the future and would recommend it to others. - PennyPA

This is a new Natural Resources District park in Nemaha County, Nebraska. Located around a man-made lake stocked with fish. Primitive tent, RV, and electric sites. 28 total sites with 4 designated for handicapped. Swimming beach, fishing jetty, boat launch, and hiking trails. If maintained, will be a very nice park. Unfortunately a 1.5 mile drive down a stone road that is very dusty. If this park had a dump station and was off a paved road, it would easily be at least an 8. No reservations, first come, first served. - rwthomasjrfamily

Very nice campground. Unfortunately, no dump. We filled our tanks from campground water tap. Sites were very level, gravel, campground looks new, not worn out. Friendly greeting from Campground host, very nice lake for canoe/kayak. Heard wild Turkeys most of the evening. Electric hook up worked fine. If you have Nebraska Park sticker, cost would only be $15. $4 entry otherwise additional. Shade trees are pretty young, will be a while before they shade your camping. We will mark this as a favorite stop when driving on US 34. You can get within 75 ft of shore on lake, but not right on lake. - DocColorado
