Sep 2018 - $39.00
A nice little gem. Just off I/80 so there is some noise but not bad. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a manicured grass dog run about 60' x 60' almost enough for our GSD to get to full speed. It is very nicely kept like the rest of the campground. The sites are pretty level, long and wide. - piclif
Aug 2018 - $39.00
Great little overnight stop. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Called from about 90 miles away for a site. They took name and said they would be in the office when we arrived. Owners live on site. Warm welcome and after paying were led to site. Nicely treed campground but we were assigned a site without for our satellite dish. Pool looked nice. Easy on off the interstate. Trash pickup with a bag provided - very nice touch!! Definitely will stay again if in the area!! - Trvl1
Aug 2018 - $43.00
This is a typical over priced CG. While the CG was ok, it was not worth what I paid. My jacks went into the ground & I had to put boards under thm. Sites need to have more gravel on them to stop the mud from seeping through. Office staff was good as were the utilities. Good Satellite & AT&T Cell and LTE data. - Lugnuts

This park doesn't have much but good for a overnight stop. Easy on and off from I 80. No problem with getting in the site. Plenty of room for our 40 ft motor home with a tow. Did not have to disconnect . They need to do a little work on their road into the park. Dirt with pot hole but not to bad. Some freeway noise but turned on a fan and it was ok. WiFi not good. - FDTex
Aug 2018 - $30.00
Just a big field with hook ups. Looks like a farmer decided to put in a park in one of his feilds. Gravel roads. Clean laundry. Turn at Wendy's !!! Easy to miss the entrance. Shopping is close for most any thing you want. - Edd505
Jul 2018 - $13.00
This is the ugliest park I have been in--it is only 2 years old but is poorly designed--too many rows and too many narrow sites per row. Not one growing tree or bush in the whole park and not even many weeds. I found 3 large pieces of concrete with rebar embedded being used as road gravel. The showers have only hot water and are push for a minute's water. The laundry/bath building reminds me of farm worker sites--ugly.... There is one person there part of each day and she tries. OK for one nite but not good for long-term. Watch for rebar. - Bet

Lovely little campsite paid through donations. Electrical on site. Great place for camping and only a couple miles away from I-80. Was greeted by the ex-mayor on a golf cart. Light sleepers in a tent beware, cows are grazing not too far away from the baseball diamond. Cowbells and some mooing may wake you up. - calvin3060
Apr 2016 - $10.00
We were greeted by a nice guy on a bicycle riding towards us in the middle of the street. He informed us that the resent rains had soaked the campground and he was afraid if we tried to get in we would get stuck. He invited us to park across the street from the campground next to his home in the American Legion parking lot. The grass in the park had been newly planted the fall before and was still in a growing stage. The park itself is very nice and quiet. Electricity is available and for an over night it's a great place to stay for a donation. The surrounding village is a nice, friendly community to just stroll around and meet the residents. - chamaman
Aug 2014 - $10.00
This town was devastated by a tornado spring of 2014 and has come back amazingly. The campground now has 50 amp service but the pool and tennis court are currently closed. We did not use the restrooms but they are functional and were cleaned the morning we were there. The grounds and each site are on well maintained grass. Even though there was a lot of rain during the night, the sites were high enough to stay dry. We would recommend staying here as a great overnight spot. Payments are by donation - they need it. - Summer Minnesotan

Only the spots closest to US-81 are long enough for the larger rigs. 7 days free. We put something in the donation box. Dump and fresh water in driveway. Nice place for a few days of rest and sightseeing. Traffic noisy. - diceshooter60
May 2013 - $1.00
This is a courtesy park up for two days. After two days, they request you contact the City Hall. There is a dump station and a water spigot. A short walk to the town square. The sites are gravel and level. - TexasRVer
May 2012 - $1.00
Very clean park with playgrounds for the kids and a new city pool. The maximum stay is 7 days but it is free to camp there. There are alot of nice trees as well as a shelter to use for gatherings. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back. - staceyw

Psst, don't tell anyone about this place; it's our secret. I found it in Escapees Day's End. The 30 Amp electrical service is more than adequate for our 50 Amp RV running only one air conditioner. The park is beautiful. There is potable water to fill your tank and a real nicely designed dump station. We seek out these small city campgrounds spotted around the country. The area has received an incredible amount of rainfall so there was some muddy spots in the park. Our parking surface was crushed limestone and could stand the addition of more but what do you want for $7 per night. We definitely would come here again. Thank you Seward for a great experience. - Kent and Margaret
Aug 2014 - $7.00
$7 is "Senior" rate. Normal is $10. Basic but nice place for overnight or no frills camping. 14 night max. Dump station available and included in fee. Train is 100 yards away and there are two or three a night. Since tracks go through town they do use horn for grade crossing. "City Park" layout with lots of mowed grass and small playground available. GPS N40.90147° W97.09640° Gravel sites are level but all are back-in. No pull-throughs. I would rate this a 9 for basic overnight stay - Tireman9

Oct 2018 - $44.00
Traveling I-80 has made me wary of highway campground. This was different. While still very close to the highway it was set back so that the road noise was very muted inside our unit. Hosts were wonderful folks who made us feel welcomed and appreciated. All sites appear to be pull thrus including ours which had to be 80' long. We were able to park our 43' toy hauler, disconnect and park our truck in front and drop our rear patio without blocking the road at all. Site was level and reasonably spaced to the next spot. Wifi was fast and reliable. I had 2 bars of Verizon LTE service. - BluesmanG
Oct 2018 - $41.00
The renovated showers are very nice and easy to use. We stop here every year because it is easy to get off Rt 80 and the owners are so nice and friendly. Very clean. - Scuppers
Sep 2018 - $40.00
Owners are exceedingly friendly and welcoming. Campground is large with a very reasonable space between adjacent sites. The fields are green with grass and many sites have mature trees for shade. The park offers a large children's playground. We were passing through NE and looking for a place to overnight. This RV park will definitely be on our agenda when we travel through here. - tomsos
