Oct 2017 - $15.00
Was unable to use the online reservation because there is a 2 night minimum on weekend. I did stay 2 nights (Thursday and Friday). Did call and the customer service is top notch. Will stay again. - Sobforever
Aug 2017 - $23.00
A little off the beaten path but a nice park for overnight away from highway noise. We had a huge lot with 30 amp power only. No water or sewer hookups anywhere. Couldn't find the dump station anywhere. The only sign said east end of campground. Nice view of the lake from all sites though. - MJB
Aug 2016 - $17.00
Grass sites hard to level. Quite a bit of traffic and noise. More suitable for boaters and fishing than quiet relaxing. Probably would not stay here again due to the grass sites, amount of noise and activity and no dump station available. - KargoKing

This is a membership campground. Thus the price of $10. No sewer hook-ups. No Wi-Fi. Pool was filthy and doesn't appear to have been used in years. No information at check-in. Maintenance very poor, trees pose problems for motorhomes. Roads in, very poor, stone and dusty 2 miles. Water quality poor, electric very, very poor, had to use our generator. STAY AWAY - dr_ontheroad
Sep 2010 - $10.00
This is a membership campground. Thus the price of $10. No sewer hook-ups. No Wi-Fi (even in clubhouse). Pool was filthy and doesn't appear to have been used in summer. Minimal activities for a membership resort. Maintenance very minimal... watch the trees as non-maintained limbs could take out side or top structures of your RV. Shower... took a few minutes for water to flow hot after sputtering out some nasty yellowish water! Signs leading to resort are none existent but our navigation was accurate to CG. Minimal phone reception depending on company (our Verizon did OK). If in need of a quick overnight stay, the local Wal-Mart is free along interstate 80 in Omaha! - trvls

We stayed 4 nights in a 39 foot 5th wheel. Great campground, quiet for the most part and very low key, flat sites and good shade on most sites. Sand beach swimming area on one of the lakes was pretty nice. Only major annoyance was you either need a Nebraska state park sticker or pay $5 per day for access. There was a hydrant in each loop. Takes about 25min to get anywhere in Omaha and Council Bluffs. Only thing that was bad about our site (#53) was the fire pit was behind the camper in the middle of a green space - 53 was the only site like that. And we happened to come while the cottonwood trees are seeding. At times it looked like it was snowing. Any other time would be fine I'm sure, or if the wind would have been in a different direction. - Jeeptchr
Aug 2016 - $24.00
Although the campsites were nice, most had only electricity. We were fortunate to reserve one that had water and electricity, but no sewer. There were more than 250 campsites in a very large park with only one dump station. The rest rooms/showers were dirty and a mess. We normally use the campground facilities when we do not have full hookups, but could not because of the poor conditions. During our entire stay there was no improvement. I have never been so thankful for our own gray and black tanks which we carefully used and monitored for our stay. - JHurtgen
Jul 2016 - $23.00
Great state park. Had reservations and it was a good thing, it was booked up. Visiting friends and family, park is convenient to Omaha. We had a handy cap stop which was really nice. All sites in this park are back in. Had a little trouble getting the satellite going, alot of trees, but managed. Really nice place, lots of little lakes to fish in, and a nice swimming beach. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. - Travelin Jenkins

Jun 2018 - $20.00
For the amount of use this campground gets, it is in very good shape. Our site this time had plenty of grass, so we weren't tracking dirt and gravel into our camper. All the sites in the Pathfinder loop are large and laid out so that you aren't looking right into your neighbor's camper. If you are going to be here a week or more (or if you plan visiting other Nebraska parks), it may be better to get an annual pass than pay the daily rate. Verizon MiFi and Dish satellite worked great at our site. AT&T phone service was spotty - sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. We have a 32 ft. fifth wheel and didn't have any trouble navigating the roads in the park. - Bobbi1948
Jul 2017 - $20.00
We stayed in site 76 in our motorhome. The site was difficult to get into because of the trees and bushes across from it. The site only has 30amp power which to our surprise ran both of the a/c's. The mosquitoes were viscous, I wish they would do some abatement in the park. Also was surprised to have to pay another fee for a park pass on top of the site fee. - HenryMech
May 2016 - $20.00
This is a very busy campground. On weekends it is difficult to drive through because of all the cars parked along the road, and because of the placement of the dump station in the Pathfinder campground. Campsites are pretty well spaced out. Most are large enough for a camping unit, a car and a boat, but the park is so close to town, there are a lot of visitors who also need a place to park. Because of all the traffic/use, the grass is pretty thin in most spots. Still, we will stay here again during the week, when it is much quieter and easy to get out on one of the lakes, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful and the park is well-maintained. There is some train noise, but it is usually quiet at night. - Bobbi1948

Aug 2016 - $15.00
Visited this campground a couple of years ago and came back because it's a good place to stop in Fremont. Cost is very reasonable, especially considering other campgrounds in the area. Only 2 other campers were in the campground, so we had plenty of room to roam. Sites are close together, but that is not usually a problem since the campground isn't used unless there is an event in the arena.
Baseball and soccer fields were close by, so we watched the kids play for entertainment. - Bobbi1948
Sep 2015 - $15.00
Large, level, graveled parking lot with water (2 connections) and electric hookups (50 and 30 amp receptacles). No trees. Dump station is on site. 2 porta-potties in the center of the lot. Great water pressure at our site. Some sites had a picnic table. Large parking lot to the east would be useful for kids to ride their bikes but you won't be able to see them. Huge soccer fields to the west. Horse riding area to the north and baseball playing fields further north. Wide walking path down to the train tracks and along the tracks. No traffic noise from lightly traveled street. There is an airport next door but I never heard one take off or land. - Pat Engle
May 2014 - $15.00
This is a good campground if you just want to park for the night or nights while you are busy elsewhere. It's really just a parking lot that was set up with hookups for campers. The good news is that you get both water and electricity. It's also cheaper than the nearby state park and there is usually a site available. - Bobbi1948

We could not find an RV spot anywhere in town. We came in for the College World Series. We hesitated to even call Riverwest Park because of some bad reviews on this website. The owner got us in and he, his staff and park are absolutely wonderful. It is not a modern RV park. But it is beautiful. Like camping on a golf course. They had entertainment and the crowd was a young fun crowd. Older folks might not like this park. But I wish there where more Campgrounds like this around. They have outdoor movies, stages for music, Bachelorette parties going on everywhere and tubing and rafting down the river. My wife and I are in our 50's and this atmosphere made us feel young again. Riverwest please don't change a thing at this park. It is an original gem in the Midwest. - Johnny Ricketts
Sep 2016 - $30.00
This place is a dump. I hardly consider this place an RV Park of any kind. Junk is stored/stacked up throughout the grounds. The RV Spots are a complete afterthought, no dumps locations at all. No sewer dumps, $10 fee and they will use a portable trailer to remove black water. You are instructed to dump grey water on the ground! Never in my years of camping have I seen something this low class. At best, this place is for tent camping, RV'ers beware and don't waste your time here. - Campers4Life2016
Jul 2016 - $30.00
The staff was rude. The park was loud with no apparent noise limit. Lots of intoxicated people. The sites had way too many trees making it feel crowded. The atmosphere was not family friendly. - Camp_Life

Older KOA. Sites are narrow, but relatively easy to access as an escort to site is provided. Some sites are side-by-side hookups. Campground is clean and recycles plastics and glass. Restroom code provided but restrooms are not locked. If they are locked by someone inside, code will not unlock door. Restrooms are clean but far from odor-free. Campground roads are gravel, as are sites. Construction on access road. - grandma0942
Jul 2018 - $47.00
As others have said the entrance into the park is basically like a U-turn. It is doable, but be sure to give yourself plenty of room to make the turn. As you come into the park, you can pull in on either side of the office. The site we were in was #72. It was just long enough for the motorhome with the towed parked off to the side. We disconnected the towed before being escorted to our site. All roads and sites are gravel and does make for a lot of dust when vehicles are passing by. It appeared that this site is a buddy site with #81 so if you have family you would like to share patio etc with, it would be perfect. When we arrived, the park was completely full and things seemed a little tight. The angle in which this site is situated meant that we were unable to get much relief from the sun on the curb side, even with our large awning extended. We weren't really able to enjoy the patio until after sunset or early morning. The site had paved patio with table & chairs and fire ring. We also stayed in a back-in site, #29. This is one of the improved sites that includes a deck with table and chairs and a paved stone fire pit. It was very nice and spacious. I would definitely choose #29 over #72. There is a dog park that was nice, but needed mowing. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. There are many children in the park, so be on the lookout. Most of their activities take place toward the front of the park. All in all it's a nice park and they are working to make necessary improvements. We would stay here again if we are back in the Omaha area. - Cairnsrock
May 2018 - $50.00
Tight in/tight out. This camp has been around before side outs were invented. The sites are very, very close with some hook-up that have to run under the RV to attach. Gravel, dirt sites, some have table. Large trees with large roots. Hard to park when sites are full. Expensive for what they have. On a positive note, they are making some of the sites wider and easier to get in/out. A below avg KOA. - billydw

We have stayed here many times and each time the place is a little nicer. I find the sites are big and pretty level (never a stretch for the jacks) It's always organized and tidy. - piclif
Oct 2018 - $45.00
Arrived at 5:11 pm and found office closed up tight, and advertised "pizza & beer" only available "during business hours." We were looking forward to beer & pizza and Thursday night football with fellow travelers, but nope, shut down tight. Next disappointment was advertised "WiFi." WiFi is a paid service with maybe a voucher for 1 device available. Since we were "late arrivals" I found nothing in any of the paperwork that gave me a " voucher number" for my 1 device. As previously reviewed, interior roads are bumpy and narrow, and could be quite muddy if rainy. Site was unlevel side to side so we had to sleep with heads down - uncomfortable and headache ensued. Power appeared OK, but during dinner prep, running convection oven - no hot water, no a/c, no heat pump, running nothing else that was power hog - and we snapped breaker on pedestal. Looks like a nice place. Plenty of grass with gravel sites and interior roads. Looks like there are plenty of activities. Quiet, road noise not a problem, seemed like long term residents, but not a problem. Restrooms/showers appeared clean, didn't check laundry. "Seems" like a nice place, but overall, for what WE got, $45.00 was way too much.....but where else is there to stay between Lincoln & Omaha, NE? We were looking forward to a nice place and were disapponted. Bottom line, nice enough place if you're not expecting much, but overpriced. - hddebbie

May 2018 - $39.00
We stayed 4 nights. All visitors have to buy state park permit. For an RV and a tow vehicle that cost is $16 a day, total $64! Or the season pass is $45 for the RV and $22.50 for the second vehicle. Then the campground fee is $22 for a site with electric only, or $28 for water, sewer and electric. But be warned, there are only 5 sites that have full hook ups, 3 with 30/50 amp, two with 30 amp. They were already taken, and I guess are very rarely available. So we paid $157.50 for 4 nights for electric only! The sites are far from level, the roads through the campground are very tight. Nearly all the sites are amongst trees. Our site 91 had no grass, and was surrounded by soft earth. It rained for two days and we stepped out of our A class onto muddy ground. The pad itself was a compacted rock/shale mixed with concrete. when we put the jacks down on our 42' A class, they sank 1" into the pad leaving a hole where our jacks imprinted themselves. You can hear road noise from I-80. But the trains blast their horns really load and long, starting as early as 4.45 AM. The second day of our stay there were about 15 trains starting at 4.45 AM and then every 15-30 minutes. The campground is 35-40 minutes from Omaha and about 30 minutes from Lincoln, and there is nothing within 5 miles! We left this campground a day early because we wanted a good nights sleep free from train horns, plus if the weather is not sunny it's depressing staying there. Would not recommend this campground and would not return. - JeffK
Jul 2017 - $22.00
We stayed in Lakeside Campground Loop, which didn't have any shower houses nearby. Overall, the campground was nice. The value for the campground itself was great at $22 a night, but recognize that you do pay a daily fee for being in a Nebraska state park (we paid the $45 for a monthly pass since we would be in NE for 10 days). There was a nice marina on the grounds, and it looked like a nice frisbee golf course. For the two nights we stayed, we were very satisfied. - joshnichols84
Jul 2017 - $32.00
We arrived late and someone was in our space. Space was paved. Mostly level. Private and very wooded. We could hear the interstate from our lot. We had to leave early in the morning so we didn't get to take advantage of the activities the park offered. Looked like lots of fun. - Jennifer vos

Sites are level with 30 amp service only. We had no AT&T service any where in the park. The staff at check in were not the best in regards to explaining are giving a map of the sites in the campground. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome. - illini777
Oct 2017 - $26.00
We camped in the South Shore campground site 104 which was full hook-up. It included a aluminum canopy and was steps from the shower house. The site was on a hill overlooking the large lake. Handy fire ring and easy back in. Short walk down the hill to the beach and playground. Really friendly camp hosts. Was really windy the two night we stayed but will definitely be back! - Rudgonzo
Nov 2015 - $45.00
Very clean and nice place to stay, I'm here for work and after the last campground this is like a resort. Would recommend to everyone, they have a nice lake here as well. Sites are clean, come with table and fire pit and down the way is a shower bath house. - Mississippifam
