Stayed in the circular part of the RV park, we had lots of trees and sites are very spacious. Easy access through Range road gate. Nice, enclosed dog park with grass and trees. Had to drive them during the day because July heat is unbearable on their pads. Our site didn't have cable and antenna reception was horrible. Wifi was good. Overall, very nice park, super friendly staff. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Great staff. We stayed in the old section, we like the long pull thrus & lots of trees, shade is very important in July. Level concrete pad with concrete patio. Lots of room between sites. All paved roads. Easy to maneuver any size RV in campground. Good AT&T cellular. Did not use WiFi, which they have, since we visited friends & just slept here 1 night. Have stayed here many times & will always stay here when in Las Vegas. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

This was the first park we visited with our new motorhome. A very enjoyable park to stay at. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. This park has a nice dog park that our dogs loved and got to play with many friendly dogs. Was easy to receive our mail at the office and had propane delivered directly to our motorhome. This is our fist time staying at a military park, it is wonderful. Easy access to Vegas and shopping. Laundry room is close and cheap price, .75 to wash and dry a load of clothes. No dog runs, but they do have areas for dogs to do their business...just wish folks would clean up after their dogs..always will have some that are not thankful for a dog area and will not pick it up. Very nice park, excellent staff, my only complaint is the sites were a little small. WiFi worked well, there was no cable but there are plenty of over the air TV stations. We enjoyed watching the jets training. Traffic getting on and off the base can be a little congested at times. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 78 days and were very pleased with the park. When we first arrived we were assigned site 180, which is in the 'new' section. The new section is tight, very tight. We didn't think that we could do 78 days in such cramped conditions so we asked to be moved to 103. Perfect! We were very comfortable and had plenty of room. There were people there that were in the new section for much longer than the 78 days we were there and I never heard a complaint from anyone about the cramped quarters. The bathrooms, laundry and showers were the cleanest I have ever seen. The staff was always friendly. They were installing the Wifi while we were there and were able to use it for the last week. It worked great - but, it will be a pay service when the installation is complete. As in most military famcamps, it is nicer than most commercial campgrounds, less expensive and safer. We enjoyed our stay at Desert Eagle and would go back. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Another great stay at Desert Eagle. Outstanding staff...friendly, helpful, available. Excellent sites: paved, patios, great utilities, easy access. Grounds and facilities well maintained and shine with pride. BX and Commissary across the highway. Jets (including Thunderbirds) provide ample sounds of freedom so don't come if you don't want to hear them. We love it here and plan on returning again. We stayed in the older section. We normally are very happy with our stays at military FamCamps, but this one really let us down. We experienced three problems here that we could not get resolved. Upon checking in I told the office we had our son with us and he would be with us for three nights. After being charged I notice I was charged extra for our entire stay, not just the three nights. Their response was they could not do a refund. OK only $14. The second day here we were notified that the water would be turn off for five days. Why were we not informed at check in of the scheduled water outage? If we knew about it we would have gone elsewhere. I asked if I could get any discount because of the water outage. I was told no discounts or refunds. The five day water outage actually turned into 6 days without water. The next problem was with mail being delivered. A prescription arrived but for whatever reason the office refused it and had it returned. We were never informed they did this. We only found out about when we called the pharmacy. The pharmacy verified they sent it to us using the exact address required by the office. During our stay we had four other packages delivered here without issues. Why reject a prescription? The office here seems to be run by folks who stay here and don't really want to help out other RVs. This is really disappointing customer service. I gave a poor rating on value, because we are paying for FHUs and did not have FHUs for our entire stay. I also gave a poor rating because of the lousy customer service we experienced here. I gave a poor satisfactory rating for cleanliness. Overall fair condition, but older section does need some cleanup and maintenance. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here many times over the years, and the service and facilities have been consistently outstanding. Professional, friendly check in with welcome package and escort to site, which this time was the "legacy" or older section which we prefer. Sites here are in a circle and provide great separation between the level, concrete sites. Nice landscaping with trees and shrubs, but no real obstructions to the TV satellites. No cable but plenty of OTA channels. We couldn't get the park WiFi to connect during our week long stay, but Verizon cell/data were good. Plenty of the "sound of freedom" during the week beginning early in the morning, but quiet at night and on the weekends. One of the best Famcamps in the system. We'll stay here again. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night as just an overnight on our way north. It was hot on the way up and hot there. We arrived around 4:30pm to 120 degrees! I say this not to complain, but to set the stage for the great visit we had. We were having roof Air issues on our coach, and the hosts put us in a site that was almost completely shaded. The hosts were super friending and connected us with a great Mobile RV repair service who called us back and trouble shot our roof air issue over the phone. We were even offered cold bags of ice. But back to the park. Our site was #63, a back-in, very level, easy to get into with convenient towed vehicle parking. The site was very clean and had some grass and a picnic table. Good electricity. The wifi connected very easy and the internet was speedy and perfect for e-mail and web browsing. We did not try any satellite. We had good version reception. We had ready about cleanliness and bathroom issues but we thought they were very clean and well kept. There is a very nice office with computers, tables and relaxing chairs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

After a medical emergency in northern Nevada, we headed south to get to a friend's home in Arizona. Along the way, we stayed one night at the Desert Eagle RV Park. My friend is retired military, so we used his pass to stay at the park. It is nicely landscaped and with clean restrooms and showers. The picnic tables are metal and looked new. The sites are level and concrete. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

They have recently expanded this park, we stayed in the "Premier" part (which is the older part with trees). Very long pull through site with a combined concrete pad and gravel. Utilities are widely spaced apart, strange but we made it work. Up to 108 in early June and we had shade for the morning, but the trees for the PM were not located to shade us - made for a pretty work trailer and panting puppies. The WiFi towers are plenty BUT it didn't work well, log in and get dropped immediately by EVERY tower. OTA TV was great without even adjusting the antenna direction. Their fenced dog area, near the front is great, we drove the dogs there and they had a ball. Older but good showers and laundry right behind us. Have to say for the price a good park, but could use more shade for the hot summers (they are planted), better WiFi (out for bid to upgrade) and more grass in the Premier area. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place if you want somewhere away from the Vegas madhouse. It is under the Nellis flightpath but we didn't have any at night and a few during the day. Well laid out, spacious sites with trees and level sites. FHU - all worked great. We had a pull through site and would definitely stay here again !! One of my favorite RV parks. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make sure your questions are answered Easy to drive to and the park is easy to navigate. Sites are spacious and have shade. Dog park is large with grass and plenty of space for a Labrador to catch a ball. They have remodeled the park since our last stay and added several new sites. I prefer the larger trees in the older sites. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.
